"As it clearly outlines in the screen shots, anyone else who happens to have the app installed and is near you will cause the tile to report its location through THEIR phone. That's right, the company can find out where you shop, eat, go to church, jog, or walk the dog simply by your tile reporting its location through someone else's phone running the app. Once the app is ready to go it pairs with the tile easily and then there are some very interesting features. You do have to register and create an account in order to get to the point where you can tie a tile to the app. If, and I say if reluctantly, you have location services turned on the web site will allow you to view the last known location of the tile(s) under your account on a map. Now proximity here is Bluetooth distance which is at best 10 meters (30 feet) so the location overlaid on the map will be fairly close to where the tile was left as long as the location services on your phone can actually get a GPS lock (this gets far to technical to explain here but buildings, underground parking and just about any structure can block GPS signals). What I really liked, if you have the tile in hand but can't find the phone, double press the silver tile logo and if the phone is within range it will play a tune associated with the app. All in all, this is an easy to use device and there will be dozens of applications you could think of. I found the app very simple both to set up and use. The tile itself while having to real speaker isn't really loud enough to heard when trapped between cushions on a sofa or stuffed in a purse. I like that pairing a tile with the app is painless, totally non-technical. When using the web interface, I found the site easy to access through both the app and PC online. There are so many Bluetooth devices we already use that we can have a good idea of the coverage that can be expected between phone and tile. The app works and does not require a 10-year-old to set it up. Great idea and product but beware the intrusion to your comings and goings."
"No matter what system I tried to introduce him to, what basket was on the counter just for his wallet...was a dismal failure."
"At first, I was so happy with this product, helping me find misplaced keys and cell phone in my family's busy home."
"At first, it went well; I didn't really lose my keys so I'd use the tile a few times a month to make sure that everything was in working order. And it was spotty; sometimes, when the tile was right next to me, it'd take minutes for the app to locate the tile and ring. According to the Tile App, there were a few thousand Tile users around, able to find my device if they stumbled near it."
"After working correctly (or at least seeming to) for a few months I received a warning notice that several of my items--including the camera gear--had moved while I was away on a business trip."
"Could someone from customer support please contact me if they see this or just replace my dead tile?"

Victrola Nostalgic Classic Wood 6-in-1 Bluetooth Turntable Entertainment Center, Mahogany
This beautiful wood finish Victrola nostalgic record player is fully loaded. Three-speed turntable (33 1/3, 45, 78 RPM) plays all of your vinyl records and favorite albums.Innovative Technology:Music center includes a cable for Apple devices.

"The turntable does not have an auto return, but to me this is a plus. I have another Chinese made turntable with auto return, and it prematurely returns the tonearm before the end of the last track on some records. And the CD player apparently does not play burned CDs from my computer, only original CDs."
"After staring at a large stack of records purchased back in 70's, my mom started lamenting on how her old record player (made in the 80's) hasn't worked in years and how she can't listen to her favorites like Bing Crosby, My Fair Lady, and Nat King Cole in all their vinyl glory. The Vinyl/Record Player - Easily the most used player for my mom, ours didn't require any special hacking to get the unit to work properly. Player's arm is not automatic, so you will need to place the needle on carefully, but there is a small lever on the unit that allows you to lift and lower the needle without scratching the record. CD Player - Initially I thought out CD player was broken because the tray would not come out, but I found out later that it was because I did not set the player to CD first. The CD player tray comes out of the front of the unit and is controlled using the buttons of the front of the player. Cassette Player - The cassette player is located on the right side of the unit, and it works very well. The overall sound from the unit is good, and the unit can play at a pretty good loudness."
"I got this for my son for Christmas and he is loving it!"
"Great Product!"
"Love this!"
"The best player you can get, especially for the price and EVERYTHING this thing does."
"I believe any product can have a flaw and as long as the company stands behind it, I will gladly take the replacement and not knock them for it. At the time, the recent reviews were mainly favorable, with a few complaints on the volume, sound quality leather, etc. We are well within the 90 day warranty phase, the company should stand by their product without us having a to fork over more time and money on this."
"Problem: CD player did not work, and there was something wrong with the vinyl motor- did not spin at correct speed and then would stop on its own."

"I was surrounded by people swishing it around in their mouths saying things like, "Ooooo this has earthy tones of soil and aged manure really hitting the back pallete" or "I feel like the fruitiness is overbearing and I prefer a more subtle chocolatey almond that was allowed to breathe over a bed of charcoal dust for at least 972 hours." "This tastes like the inside of the septic tank on Satan's Winnebago." If Audiophile McEgotrip wants to tell you your opinion is invalid because you don't possess his/her "trained ear", might I suggest reaching into your pocket and pulling out a middle finger. I'll probably get a bunch of "not helpful" votes from all the Barry & Dick clones from the movie High Fidelity, and that's fine. But while they're all standing in line waiting to ride the High Horse, I'm over here eating a Creamsicle on a hammock with Miles Davis penetrating my soul through a pair of incredibly high quality earbuds that I didn't need to forego paying this month's rent to acquire."
"I was a bit hesitant to pay the extra for these as I had never had a serious problem with the sound of my older Klipsch. They give you a range of ear tip sizes in the case so you can get the right fit. TIP: Also, with this type of headphone, movement sound transfers through the wire which can be disappointing."
"The service was very personable (worked through the same representative the whole time), and, as I mentioned above - the headphones really sound amazing I had shopped around and tried several others before the Triple Driver, so, again, thus my disappointment when the ear-buds fell off. Keep them in their leather case, and enjoy - and feel good about it coming from what appears to me an upstanding company."
"Having owned the 1More Triple Driver for several months and truly enjoyed the music it reproduces (EDM, vocals, electronica, etc. For those that owned the triple drivers, you know what I meant by the value and quality 1More provided. The quad driver fit better in the ear and less susceptible to coming loose than the triple driver, seems to have better weight ratio toward the ear instead of dangling out about."

Reviews
"After traveling 500 miles with my Navdy, I feel completely confident that this device has nearly everything one could ask for (GPS, music controls, text/phone notifications), with the issue being that a majority of the features are not as functional as the individual devices they are trying to replace. I may be one of the few who purchased this device with music control as one of their top 3 features. - Hardware: The design of my current auto would not permit me to mount the device flush to my dashboard, so the positive aesthetics take a small hit when using one of the taller mounts. The most significant issue is that road vibration is sent to the device with greater frequency when using these taller mounts."
"I take my Navdy off my dash whenever I leave my car, and reattach it each time. No more glancing at my phone at messages, either; (2) I find that I don't speed as much, because I'm more aware of my speed at all times - Navdy's interface shows you not only your current speed but also the current speed limit, and it does it both digitally and via an arc that changes color; white while you are within the speed limit, blue when you are a few miles above the limit (around 7-8), orange when you are doing more than that. Navdy is more configurable than you might think: Not only can you tweak the interface so that you pick and choose which widgets appear in your view as you drive (compass, time/date, next calendar appointment, current music, time and distance driven during the trip, etc) but you can also change things up on the fly quite easily. Plus, you can choose to get (or not get) what Navdy calls "glances" (think "notifications") from various apps. Sound - Navdy doesn't have its own speaker, so all sound comes through your phone (or your car's stereo, via your phone's connection to the car). Navdy greets you (optionally) when you start your car, and Navdy shuts down automatically when you turn off your car. iPhone tip: You can download and make accessible to Navdy some high quality voices by going into your phone's settings -- Settings/General/Accessibility/Speech/Voices - make sure you download the "enhanced versions." Car information integration - the widgets that are available to you will depend, I believe, upon the data your car's manufacturer makes available via the OBD-II port. Here's a scenario that can easily play out, given the Navdy's bridging of the information from your car and your phone: (1) You have an appointment at 10:00 AM listed on your phone's calendar. (3) Navdy assumes you might be going to this appointment, and suggests that it map the route for you; (4) Navdy, via the information from the OBD-II port, also senses that you are running low on gas. And Navdy is the type of thing that you are going to want to show off."

Nixplay Original 15 inch WiFi Cloud Digital Photo Frame. iPhone & Android App, Email, Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Picasa (W15A)
Manage multiple frames from one Nixplay Cloud Account: FREE Sync up to 5 frames and enjoy 10GB of photo storage.
Reviews
"We gave a frame to each set of grandparents, and we regularly email new pictures directly to their frames throughout the year. Both Nixplay and Kodak let you log onto websites to upload pictures to your frames, or you can email pictures directly to the frames. When I wanted to add a picture, I would just email the picture to the address assigned to the Kodak frame, and I would put whatever I wanted for a caption as the subject line of the email. Nixplay has modeled their service after a photo sharing site, but it frankly doesn't work very well for 90% of people who just want to upload pictures to a frame easily and let the collection of pictures grow. General procedure: When you want to upload a bunch of pictures from a computer, you have to first create at least one album and one playlist, then upload the pictures to the album. After you add new pictures, you need to go into the album, select ONLY THE NEW PICTURES, and drag them onto the correct playlist. If you try just dragging all the pictures in an album into the playlist, then you would have two copies of all pictures (except the new ones). Nixplay allows directly emailing pictures to frames, but again they have complicated it. You can specify which album and playlist you want the emailed picture to go to if you know (and remember) the names of the album and playlist. I don't believe there is a way for adding a caption to a picture you are emailing, which is a shame, as that often was a fun part of emailing pictures to the Kodak. At the very least, they should have a "Grandparents Mode" enabled by default which would allow a simple way to have a frame that people far away could add pictures to, without having to have anyone manage it, and without the multiple steps required to add pictures through the website."
"The reason for that is that I have one frame in my bedroom and don't want it kicking on during the night for any reason (and I am too lazy to turn it on/off manually everyday). The unit I ordered had one bad pixel, and after I contacted NIX, I had a new (perfect) frame in my hands the next day."
"I will have the 15 inch in the living room, 12 inch in the bedroom and 8 inch at work. You have to nudge it around until you get it to come off (plastic tabs on the back of the plate are in some holes). I plan two use my screws to put in the mounting plate holes on the back of the frame, leaving them sticking out some, wrap picture frame wire around the screws and then hang it on the wall. The remote control works great and since I will be mounting this close to the TV in the living room, I like that I can use the remote to turn the frame off. There is a slot in the back of the frame to store the remote but I plan to keep it with my other remotes. Since some pictures are landscape and some are portrait, my initial plan was to have all my landscape pictures on the 15 inch frame and portrait on the 12 inch frame. If my Wi-Fi is ever down, the frame will just play the pictures that were last downloaded from the cloud. I have been wanting a digital frame for years but am glad I waited because I think the nixplay frame has everything I could ever want in a frame."

eero Pro WiFi System (Set of 3 eeros) - 2nd Generation - Advanced Tri-Band Mesh WiFi Technology and WPA2 Encryption to Replace WLAN Routers and WiFi Range Extenders - Coverage: 5+ Bedroom Home
HOME WIFI SYSTEM: eero Pro WiFi System replaces your router, WiFi extenders, and WiFi boosters by covering your entire home with fast and reliable internet connection.
Reviews
"This is long updated review on 6 different wifi systems and why we picked and are still using Eero. We were very happy with the 1st Gen Eero system and just upgraded to 2nd Gen with 2 beacons and wanted to share our experience to end wifi issues/dead spots in our home. WIFI SYSTEMS PURCHASED: Orbi, Velop, Amplifi HD, Google Wifi, 1st Gen Eero and 2nd Gen Eero with 2 beacons. LOCATION: 3000Sq Ft Townhome with at least 45 devices connected at any time. We established simple criteria for our testing: 1) Product design. 2) System setup. 3) Ethernet wired backhaul. 4) Firmware updates. 5) System app. 6) Customer service. 7) Seamless roaming. 8) Throughput/signal strength. 9) Conclusion. We ranked the systems from 1st to 6th under each criteria. Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Velop (3rd) Google (4th) Orbi (5th) Amplifi. SYSTEM SETUP: We set them up using an iPhone 7 Plus except for the Orbi which we used an iMac. We had to reposition the Google, Amplifi and Velop satellites during the initial setup for the main units to “see” them - (See Customer service section). Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Orbi (3rd) Velop (4th) Google (5th) Amplifi. ETHERNET WIRED BACKHAUL: The best connection is a wired connection so we wanted a system with the opportunity to hard wire the satellites. Google Wifi, Velop and Eero support ethernet backhaul so you can hardwire all the units. With the 2nd Gen Eero you can only have a wired connection with the main unit. Surprisingly the 2nd Gen beacons work better than the 1st Gen - Much better.. (See throughput/Signal section). Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Google (3rd)Velop. Other 2 systems do not offer ethernet backhaul. FIRMWARE UPDATES: This is the method employed by the manufacturer to improv and add features to your wifi system. Velop, Amplifi and Eero worked in the normal way through their respective apps. Google, Velop and Eero have the most user friendly apps. Features we looked for in the app were quality of service, devices connections, which nodes were connected to what device, signal strength to each device, guest access, network diagnosis, number of devices connected (easy way to see what device is actually on your network and what device should not be on your network), pausing internet/blocking devices, built in speed tests, device priority setting and device seamless roaming from node to node. The app was well laid out, information was easily visible and accessible and that made it a joy to use. Ranking: (1st) Eero (2nd) Google (3rd)Velop (4th) Amplifi (5th) Orbi. CUSTOMER SERVICE: With new tech there is always the possibility of issues so going in we knew we might have to deal with potential issues and were ready. Ranking: (1st) Eero (2nd) Google (3rd)Amplifi (4th) Orbi (5th) Velop. SEAMLESS ROAMING: A major selling point of Wifi systems is seamless roaming/handover between nodes. Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd Gen (2nd) Eero 1st Gen (3rd) Google. 1) Eero provided 100-120% consistently however the new system with the beacons provided 110 - 135% consistently. Hands down best performer were both Eero systems. The Eero system with the beacons connected slightly faster. Unlike Orbi and Velop the Eero systems did not cut in and out or have lapses of slow speed. Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Orbi (3rd) Velop (4th) Amplifi (5th) Google. EERO VS EERO. The 2nd Gen was slightly faster, smoother, quicker to set up. We switched from the 1st Gen to the 2nd Gen because we have most of our devices wired and just needed a strong wifi system. The new system with the beacons are much stronger than the old 3 pack system. In our home the beacon system is so strong that we won't need to add more whereas we added extra units of the 1st generation. IMAGES: We have switched from using our 5 1st Gen to 3 2nd Gen Eeros (Eero and 2 beacons). We loved the minimal design, easy set up, wired ethernet backhaul, fluid app, seamless roaming and customer service Eero provided."
"These ones don't have the USB port anymore so you cannot use it to charge your phone or Fitbit and it will never have the option to connect a hard-disk unless you buy a separate NAS. I also have tried Google Wifi which is a bit slower and unreliable (one died after 30 days, a real hassle to get it replaced, they only want to give a refund for a third of the value for which I cannot buy another unit) and the Linksys Velop which would constantly disconnect the Ring Doorbell and then it lost settings which was extremely painful to setup from the beginning (got rid of it after two days)."

Reviews
"As a full-time college student and part-time worker, I experience my fair share of stressful moments. The back of the device is soft and I never feel it rubbing up against my skin during daily use (most of the time, I completely forget I'm wearing it). I'll admit that the first day I used Spire, I was completely unconvinced that it was correctly tracking my breathing patterns. After leaving my morning class (which Spire told me I was focused and to keep up the good work), I got stuck in some traffic on the commute home. I checked the iPhone app upon arriving home, and Spire told me that I was in a state of tension for 20 minutes. The app presented me with several options for reducing my tension including (but not limited to) a quick relaxation boost exercise and an extended guided-meditation."
"I was just on a phone meeting and got a notification on my iPhone that it had been awhile since I'd taken a deep breath. It was just a nice little nudge, a reminder, to get back to doing what I know is important, full and functional breathing. And they have a nice 'foundation pack' teaching you some elemental breathing techniques along with getting to know your device and the app. Things I'd like to see improve: - there are times where I feel like I'm tense but Spire doesn't recognize it as such. I get that my perspective is a thought while Spire is measuring actual breathing patterns. I suppose this means that even when I emotionally feel tense, I'm still doing a credible job of breathing well. I do wish I had the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the algorithm, or increase the 'challenge level' so that it takes more to register as Calm, but that's a relatively minor quibble. So if I listen to one boost Friday afternoon, I don't get the next one unlocked until Monday morning. They are in beta testing on it and I took a look at it, and while it's still rough around the edges it has great promise and it directly addresses these two points. I genuinely believe this is one of the few wearable technologies that doesn't just give you a bunch of data that is essentially meaningless, but can actually improve the quality of your life in important and meaningful ways."

Segway miniPRO | Smart Self Balancing Personal Transporter with Mobile App Control (Black)
Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
Reviews
"As long as you have the Ninebot by Segway app installed and open, it will search for the miniPRO as soon as you hit the power button the front. Don't forget to remove the little piece of film off the front of the Segway's power button/display, or things will look a little funky when you turn the device on. The tutorial itself isn't hard, but you'll find yourself wanting to hold your phone while you learn the ropes. I recommend putting the phone down after reading each tutorial, and listening for the BEEP to tell you when you've accomplished the mission. The app is also fun in that it lets you customize the lighting on the miniPRO from bajillions of available colors, so have at that as you doubtless will. Interestingly, it took the second time I fired up the app (after all the tutorial and house hijinks) to ask me if I wanted to upgrade the firmware to (as of July 14, 2016) version 1.3.1. For new owners among us, we'll need to get used to a few things that maybe aren't ideal (warning beeps at max speed etc), but these are minor inconveniences rather than deal breakers. They take some getting used to, and in the beginning you'll wonder how you'll ever get on without wobbling back and forth - but I can tell you, you will eventually make it happen. I'll update when I've put on a bunch of miles, but from my short time with it so far today in and outside around my house, it's very fun, and definitely a step above your normal, cheaper hoverboards. I have no issue with the adjustable steering bar (raised to the top position), and my feet have plenty of space. Thankfully, Segway has been sending emails out clarifying this - to those who bought on Amazon, but still - very odd. Once you get used to the fact that the gyroscopes and sensors won't try to kill you, despite what your brain is telling you, you'll do much better. In dearest Seattle, we have a lot of hills, and going up them is a little scary at the moment, while I'm still being a newbie. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of being stopped halfway up a hill, you'll have a tendency to lean back a little because you think you'll fall off otherwise (which isn't true, but humans think too much, occasionally). I believe the headlights have different levels, but they're automatic based on ambient light availability. The app has some really fun tail light adjustments, and at night they look positively awesome. I felt like a bit of an attention hound while scooting around the neighborhood with my wife. It was fun, until my wife noted that it's not because I'm "cool", but much more likely because I look like a total idiot, all 6'5" of me, rolling down the sidewalk on this tiny contraption. I trust the machine enough to come to a complete stop at the base of a hill, and then lean into the uphill, and wheeeeee - there I go! The greatest difficulty I now have is changing direction significantly when going up steep uphills or downhills. I'm going to don a ghost outfit that comes down to just above the wheels, and scoot along the sidewalks, scaring everyone. This might be the greatest Halloween scare-maker EVER, especially since your hands are completely free to wave around in a spooky manner. The missus and I fling a thin backpack on our respective backs, and there we go, trundling (like two bosses, of course) to get our groceries from the store a few miles away. We tend to be respectful in the store, and haven't zoomed about inside (not sure I want to find out how that will go...), and we use the pull-out handle to walk the miniPRO along next to us. On flats we both hit the same max speed, and if you act silly and try to push the device faster than it's designed, it will give you a warning beep before tilting back slightly to tell you NO! If you IGNORE the beeps, - apparently heaven help you, because the miniPRO will launch you into outer space. So here's my explanation of what's going on here, and why this seems to have a bunch of people crying, calling shenanigans and throwing their miniPROs in the trash: First, there's a LOT going on inside the unit to keep you balanced. It's only possible to be thrown off if you're leaning way too far forward, ignoring the beeps, and that is 100% user error. It HAS to lean back to prevent you from tilting the unit far too far forward and having an accident that way because of being outside the parameters of the miniPRO's ability to balance you. No accidents here, of course, because when you hear the beeps you have plenty of time to sit back in your heels and avoid the unit chastising you. :-) Once you attain awareness of how the system works, it's so easy to modulate and know when you're being bad. In this case, you'll ease off the leaning forward as you reach the crest of the hill, and there will be no beepy beeps! Of course, that kind of truth is hard to deal with for me, so I usually yell back, "I CAN'T HELP IT!" So just give those two screws under the latch a bit of a turn to tighten that locking mechanism up. The knee bar also has 4 allen key screws under the warning label halfway down. If they do become loose, you'll notice the top part of the knee bar is a little wobbly, whether it's extended or not. c.) There's a red rubber plug at the base of the unit where the knee bar connects. I noticed my left tire on my miniPRO was reading much lower than it normally is. A quick test with some soapy water (a few drops on the suspected puncture will show bubbles as the air is released from the tire into the soapy water) revealed that yes - my Segway has a puncture! The miniPRO uses tubeless tires, so what you'll want is this cheap kit: Slime 1034-A T-Handle Tire Plug Kit. You can YouTube the simple installation for this (videos everywhere showing you how - but the instructions are pretty simple as it is), and yep - my puncture is now repaired in under 2 minutes. My Segway is back in action, which is GOOD, because I was going to go through withdrawal, and my darling wife was going to tease me endlessly as she ventured out into the great beyond (usually the grocery store) without me."
"July 15, 2016 -- Revising my review to 3 stars after riding over 6 miles today: Reducing my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. My single complaint: the artificial speed limit of 10 mph. I suppose Ninebot/Segway doesn't want lawsuits, so they artificially set the speed limit to 10 mph, which I can understand; however, the problem arises when the unit senses a speed faster than 10 mph, then it SUDDENLY SLAMS THE BRAKE ON YOU, abruptly slowing you down to 4 mph or so. This sudden decrease of speed just as you are accelerating to your desired cruising speed can actually throw you off balance, requiring you to immediately adjust your stance or risk falling over. My suggestion is a speed limit of 15 mph and if the rider does reach this speed, the unit will just allow him to go no faster rather than to try to reduce the speed on its own. Even if you keep it below 10 mph, the machines seems to be working against you by tending to lean backward to slow you down. P.S., I still give the machine 4 stars despite my criticisms above because it is still a very unique machine and I still like it."
