Find Best Price at Amazon"After much research and answered questions from some other buyers here, I decided on this paper cutter. As one reviewer suggested, you need to put a piece of cardboard or card stock on the top and bottom of your stack. The top will still need to be there as it absorbs the dent made from tightening the arm that secures the stack of papers. The problem I had at the beginning was that the handle on the very front right, the part that allows you to adjust the height of the securing bar, was on backwards for shipping. All I had to do was remove the screw and switch the handle so that the knobbed part was out front instead of turned inward. The large cutting handle has no screws and just slips over a 4 inch cylinder at the back right of the cutter. At the back there is a safety lock that keeps anyone from accidentally bringing down the cutting blade with the big handle. Before you begin your cut, you tap down on a round extension and this releases the lock on the handle. It is heavy duty and perfect for a small office or even home use, or for that matter, for anyone that does a serious amount of cutting."
"Based on some 1-star reviews of the lower cost bulk paper cutters, and the low cost of this item compared to others in the same category, I was a little hesitant to order. Even the higher quality 10-20 page paper trimmers can only handle 4 or 5 of the card stock at a time and a great deal of pressure is required to keep the stock from shifting while cutting. This cutter easily managed 70 or so sheets at a time of the 67# card stock, with no sliding or shifting when clamped down."
