"Replacement requires taking apart 3 interconnected steering column covers, and removing at least 2 pieces of dashboard trim (and re-installation is worse) without breaking the cheap plastic parts. The new part itself has to be forced into the same slot as the old one, and all that is holding it to the steering column is a cheap tiny ill fitting plastic tab. Removing the steering column trim a second time revealed that the switch was not completely inserted."
