"I just released the belt from the tensioner pulley, took the access cover off the bottom of my automatic transmission, wedged a bar between the flex plate and torque converter, removed the 4 bolts holding the stock damper, and then pulled it right off. I then put anti-seize on the crankshaft, slid the new damper on, put anti-seize on the new bolts I had purchased separately and installed them, torqued them to 92 ft. Lbs., removed the bar from the torque converter and reinstalled the access cover (3 tiny screws), and put the belt back on."
