"To pop the red ring (as seen in the photo) on the top so the lid can screw in does take a bit of work, but once its on, its on, there is very little chance that thing will ever come off (even if you wanted it to). The lid securely screws on and keeps the contents well inside. The piece of wall insulation that comes with the kit-- I mean the "premium" washing pad is a bit disappointing. It certainly can be used on your vehicle, but I personally would use it for the tires/undercarriage or anywhere on your vehicle where tiny micro scratches wouldn't be noticeable, as they pick up anything they touch and it stays rooted within the material, so if you happen to pick up a tiny shard of a pebble, its quite hard to get it out of the pad."

Like the others have said, it will not fit all the way down if the sides of your 5 gallon bucket are tapered at all (Most buckets from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc have tapered sides so you can stack them and get them apart more easily). Just to be clear, I ALSO have the Grit Guard and it fits in all of my 5Gal buckets."

"If your headlamps are cloudy or pitted at all, you’re going to need additional wet/dry sandpaper (which I got after reading other reviews). After going through all the grades I had (400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000), I ended up starting over with the 220 and working my way up again, from there. Don’t be intimidated by the scratch marks from whatever you choose for your coarsest grade that is appropriate to your headlamps. Make sure you change directions each time you increase the fineness of the sandpaper, as you go up through the grades. Side-to-side at one grade and up-and-down for the next grade. I may have used more grades of sandpaper than strictly required, but I hadn’t reconditioned the headlamps in 10 years of owning the car, and I wanted great results, so I put in some extra work. Even if you use 8 grades of sandpaper, like I did (and I really did need those coarser grades), when you finish with the sandpaper steps, the headlamps will have a dull, satin finish, but hopefully smooth. I gave 4 stars because I had to buy the extra sandpaper and go through multiple steps to get the results I wanted with my older headlamps."
"In the past I've used the highly-rated 3M Trizact headlight sanding kit and it works well but it requires a lot of time, it's a bit messy and the results fade over time. I am not sure how many headlight applications they promise in the package but I don't think I used even a quarter of the product for both headlights."

Of course, I will update this review upon returning the broken nozzle, but it seems like this riveted connection is the nozzle' s Achilles heel.
