We have now worn these for 9 days straight and I am happy to recommend these to anyone that needs to spend a considerable amount of time outdoors in frigid temperatures, especially if asthma is a factor. A little fabric around your neck is a massive difference maker in your comfort level. Everyone is so supportive and helpful and it is a great opportunity for to fine-tune the product and messaging in a low stress environment. The Weatherneck System provides a quick release facemask connected to our uniquely design Mullet Hat using high-powered magnets. The Mullet hat provides full coverage of your neck and ears while still allowing your head to ventilate. The face mask features a highly breathable mesh section to reduce fogging. My biggest frustration with traditional balaclavas is that when I finally do heat up, all I want to do is get that thing off my neck! Our 1-size hat stretches to accommodate a massive range of head sizes too. The Mullet hat features a secret pocket for hand-warmer on really cold days, or a credit card or ID. All black balaclava removes in 1-second truly breathable to reduce fogging of glasses and goggles.
