Find Best Price at Amazon"Every time I want to fire up my old 71 Datsun (that's Nissan for those of you younger than 30) 240 Z there's a good chance that the battery has drained down and that I can't start it! As other reviews have mentioned it comes with a set of adapters that allow you to permanently attach pigtails to the battery posts and then you can quickly connect the tender without having to use the alligator clips (also included). I can now reconfirm that these battery tenders work great - I've had them hooked up continuously on two cars that stay in the garage a lot and I've NEVER had them not start right up."
"Your primary car battery is charged by the alternator, and when you store the car you need to take care of the self discharge issue and any parasitic loads that will discharge your car's battery while in storage... the Battery Tender Plus is great for that. (if your parasitic loads are too great, you may need to disconnect the battery from the vehicle for storage - if the parasitic drain/loads comes close to the tender's rating, it wont do it's job and your battery wont be a happy battery). I've been testing the Battery Tender Plus on my optima AGM, and on maintenance float, the battery is only pulling a .01a at 13.2vdc. But if you pull your battery lead of have little or no parasitic loads, the Battery Tender Jr will work well and save you money over the Battery Tender Plus. (Again, remember if your parasitic loads are too great, you may need to disconnect the battery from the vehicle for storage - if the parasitic drain/loads comes close to the tender's rating, it wont do it's job and your battery wont be a happy battery). For a motorcycle battery, the Battery Tender Plus is probably the end all charger. To protect your battery investment, get a good smart bulk charger (not the cheapo dumb bulk chargers) with the right profiles, and use the Deltan Battery Tender Plus or Battery Tender Jr for storage."

On another side note, my mom was so amazed by how well it worked she made me go buy another kit and clean her headlights too!"
"I bought the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit after reading a positive review in Consumer Reports. I am amazed how clear the headlights on my 10 year old Honda look after using it. The paper will also tend to roll on you while sanding, which starts to get a little annoying. I would recommend rinsing once or twice during the first sanding to clean off the residue and help you gauge your progress. Don't be alarmed how hazy the lens looks before putting on the UV Clear Coat. REALLY, REALLY TAKE YOUR TIME APPLYING THE UV CLEAR COAT! This is especially true on a car that may not be totally smooth across the whole lens (there's a raised area on my highlights for the parking lights). The clear coat seemed to collect a little unevenly around the raised area. Even if the product only lasts a year, the results are still pretty good for the price!"
"Obviously I enjoy it because it is a sports car, but at the time, one of the coolest things to me were the headlights. They aren't like they used to be (my dad's Ford Aerostar and my mom's Chevrolet Corsica had glass headlights). What many people don't know is that your plastic headlights, when you buy the car off the lot, actually have a clear coat on them that provides UV protection. Over time this clearcoat wears down due to various elements, chemicals, and abrasives (sun the rain, pollution, road salt, bugs, car wash, automatic car washes - the bristles). When this clear coat is worn down, the sun's rays will eventually break down your headlights to that yellowish color with or without the haze. Obviously restoring is usually cheaper but the results vary and the yellowing of the headlights returns within weeks or months. I've used a handful, such as Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish -10 oz. and Stoner 95121 Invisible Glass Headlight Restoration Kit - Pack of 2. It wasn't until this Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit was one of the Lightning Deals of the Day did I decide to pull the trigger. The only time you apply firm pressure is in the last step of sanding with the 2000 grit sandpaper. In the last step where you apply the UV block clear coat, douse your blue cloth with it. This is the exact opposite from using this kit and finishing the Clarifying Compound step. I thought there was no way 1 more step of just a UV coating can clear up the haze from the sanding & clarifying compound. Again, clearcoats don't last forever so , if Sylvania is going to send me a new kit every time the clear coat wears away, then I'll definitely take advantage of it."
