Find Best Price at Amazon"It also has a place to put your trailer electrical connector,,, although I think here in the heat the plastic tie strap will bream in a year, here is the rest of the story traveled 3000 miles from AZ to CT,, while in New Jersey,, stopping for gas , when I did a walk around my truck and trailer, I saw that someone had opened the tailgate, in Jersey they pump your gas ( always had to pump my own ever starte) and I think they were trying to see what they could steal, after all, traveling that far and not having had a tailgate problem, it seemed odd,, anyhow, the tail gate sat on my jacks "IN" button and slammed my motor in and the breaker didnt blow until the motor fried,,,, after getting to camp ground and trying to get my trailer off,,"
"The power wire was rather short to route it neatly along the frame, and there is no ground wire.,, they rely on metal-to-metal contact with the frame to provide the ground, and they even include some serrated washers to cut through the paint to give a contact, I've never been impressed with that idea, so I added my own ground wire back to the battery box. The kit also included a resettable breaker, but it's not connected or attached, so you get to mount it and wire it in whatever way suits you..."
"We didn't use the mounting bracket to attach the jacks but we used u-bolts to go round the jack to attach to the frame. We have went camping twice and have moved the trailer three times and it is wonderful to just flip two switches to put the trailer on the truck. I had electric jacks on several living quarter horse trailers, they never were that loud and my Brother has a huge Montana trailer and his jacks aren't that loud either but the jacks on those were all inside the trailers where we mounted ours on the outside."
"With my weight distrobution hitch system I have to raise and lower the tongue on my travel trailer a couple of times to get it properly hooked up. It was an added bonus that I found the foot is adjustable for about six inches which also allows me to get my trailer level in my sloped driveway without having to use multiple blocks unter the it."
