"I've had a portable tire inflator since, well, I can't remember when, but it's been at least three cars. I'm a big fan of avoiding gas stations for keeping my tires inflated. Now, with today's tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), you get the reminder if you've gone too long without checking and what more perfect and convenient time to refill tires than on a rested and cool car outside your own front door."
"This pump is great!"
"I was going to buy a unit that ran on 120 V A.C based on the poor performance of my current 12 V D.C. inflator."
"The EPAuto 12V DC portable compressor performed as advertised, though I only inflated to a maximum pressure of 35 psi. However, I inflated four car tires to 34 psi and four van tires to 35 psi in quick succession without any problem whatsoever, and despite the cautionary note on the compressor, it did not get hot."
"For filling your car tires, basketballs, etc.... this does the job perfectly."
"This little guy worked great to air it up every 4 or 5 days until I could get a new tire."
"Was pleasantly surprised with ease of use and most pleased with how quickly it fills."
"The compressor won't kick in."

"If you are looking for an inexpensive, but good quality 12 volt tire inflation compressor, this is the product for you! The power cord seems to be long enough to reach all tires, although I purchased a heavy duty 12 volt accessory extension, just in case. Some reviews complained about the fact that air escapes when unscrewing the air hose from the tire valve."
"The same day it arrived, I took it out of the box, surprised at how small it was -- maybe the size of a hardcover book -- and connected it to the car in the garage. I like the ability to set the pressure you want, although you have to time it a bit -- you want to remove it from the valve as soon it's done or some air can leak back out. Still, for the price, filling five tires easily and quickly at home vs. waiting in line and / or paying $1 per minute makes it a no-brainer."
"It has a long enough cord to reach all the way around the car even the back tires. It wouldn't get the car dirty either if you kept it on its pouch in the car."
"Bought it for my husband as a Christmas gift, he loves this thing, he’s a mechanic in the military, so he loves any auto gadgets as long as they serve their purpose."
"Anyway, I did receive the unit last week and I had to use it for the first time yesterday morning to help out a friend who had a flat tire on her way to work."
"Needed a new tire inflater for my truck and came across this one."
"When I see others on the road with a tire pressure issue I am able to help those in need."

"After purchasing 3-4 cigarette lighter plug in compressors and finding them totally inadequate for airing up larger tires, I started looking at on board and portable 12V air compressors. I used an accurate tire gauge to drain the driver's side tire down to 20 psi. With the engine off I timed the compressor inflating the tire up to 40 psi on the 88P gauge. I unhooked the compressor and checked the pressure with my good tire gauge and found the tire was reading 38 psi. The top of the "dry box" has storage compartments so I put in a complete tire plug kit, some spare plugs, two spare valve stems, a couple tire pressure gauges, a small Mag Lite flashlight a a couple spare AA batteries for the light. I want to see how long it takes to re-inflate all 4 tires back to 35 psi and if I can air up all 4 tires without overheating the compressor or exceeding the 45% duty cycle."
"1.83cfm@0psi. Fills up to 31" tires. 13 ft maximum reach. Cigarette lighter adapter. Kit bag. Overall another good compressor but you will blow fuses like there is no tomorrow unless you have a 20 amp cigarette lighter. Run time and 8.5 minutes of cool down time. 1.77 cfm@0psi. Fills up to 31"tires. 15ft maximimum reach. No cigarette lighter adapter but available if your cigarette lighter uses 30 amp fuses. Kit bag. Overall, bad run time, bad reach for air hose, uses too much power for what it does. Worst out of them all. 88p (Save the Best For Last). 45% duty cycle 4.5 minutes run time and 5.5 minutes cool down time (highest out of all of them). 1.98 cfm@0psi (awesome) more air output means less time filling up tires. Fills up to 33" tires. 20 ft maximum reach. No cigarette lighter adapter but available and might not blow your fuse if you have a 20 amp."

"I finally solved my issues on my 2013 F-150 with the TPMS relearn process and thought I'd post it here since this is a little confusing for probably others here on the forum. This procedure is required after you installed new sensors NOT KNOWN to the truck and must be "learned" first; FORD TPMS Relearn for Keyed-ignition models: 1) Make sure ALL TIRES ARE INFLATED TO SPEC. 2) IGNITION SWITCH in OFF position. 3) PRESS AND RELEASE BRAKE PEDAL. 4) Turn IGNITION SWITCH TO RUN 3 times ending in RUN (within 10 sec). 5) PRESS AND RELEASE BRAKE PEDAL. 6) Turn the ignition switch back to OFF. 10) Place the top of the TPMS triggering tool against the sidewall of the DRIVER’S SIDE FRONT tire in the location of the valve stem."
"They broke one, obviously they had no clue the band type are 180 degrees from the valve stem. So I had to replace it myself with the vdo ready sensor, valve stem type. And I have 3 band type ford sensors and 1 valve stem type."
"Straight out of the OEM Bulk Packaging this thing did what it was supposed to do."
"Probably won't because I can't dismount the tires off the wheels myself to put new sensors in."
"I took vehicle to tire store, they used some programming tool on it and told me after driving around for a while the error light on the would go out, it did not go out."
"Contrary to what Amazon's vehicle fitment tool shows, this does in fact work with my 2014 Expedition and I'm fairly confident it works for pretty much any Ford vehicle with the OEM sensors."
"The vehicle fit guide at the top of the page said it wouldn't work with my car (2013 Taurus), but it did."
"I just bought replacement tires and wheels w/tpms sensors so I could switch tires myself for the winter tire swap on my 2015 F150."

Best Snow Chains

Security Chain Company SZ429 Super Z6 Cable Tire Chain for Passenger Cars, Pickups, and SUVs - Set of 2
Super Z6 was designed by SCC for cars, trucks, and SUV's with restricted clearance around the drive tires. Based on SCC's experience with other products in the "Z" family, Super Z6 has one very special quality: it will operate in less than half of the space required by most cable chains and tire chains. The SCC Super Z6 SZ429 winter traction product offers superior performance for pickups and SUVs with very limited operating clearance around the drive tires. New Design Based on the "Z" family of products, the Super Z6 is designed for vehicles with restricted clearance around the drive tires. Be prepared for driving this winter with Super Z6 traction systems. It offers a unique combination of performance and convenience features for every user, including a "designed-in" rubber tightener, better all-around traction performance than conventional tire chains or cables, and greater durability. Also check your owner's manual for clearance specifications before installing winter traction products. Better compatibility with anti-lock brakes, traction control, all-wheel drive, and other electronically monitored control systems.
Reviews
"There are two broad types of traction control devices: Tire chains and traction control cables. Traction control cables are long pieces of metal cables, covered in a plastic coating, and designed to form a Z-pattern over your tires. You should normally install traction control cables on your drive wheels, i.e. the wheels that actually push or pull your car forward. Within the traction control cable category, there are two general types of cables: Self-tensioning cables tighten themselves using a tensioner (which looks, feels, and operates like a rubber band) that you install when you put the cables on. Also, the tensioners (i.e. rubber bands) on self-adjusting cables can and do break (it happened to me today) and if they break, you can't use the cables. So, if you get a cable that has a tensioner, get extra tensioners, or better yet, an extra set of cables, just in case. Here's a breakdown of SCC's cable products: Z-Chain- Manually adjustable Traction Control Cable. After you use the cables for the first time, fold each cable separately and then use a trash bag tie to keep each one together. The basics of the instructions are (1) stay safe, (2) position the cables correctly, (3) connect the upper rear connector, (4) connect the upper front connector, (5) connect the lower front connector, and (6) connect the black rubber bands. When you slide the cables under your tires, start from a point between your front and rear tires. Slide half of the chain under your car, and then reach around from the other side of the tire to pull the cable around. Once the cables are around the tire, DO NOT pull the bottom connectors that hold the cables together at the bottom of the tire towards one another. When you are connecting the rear upper connector, if you can't get the rear upper connectors up above the tire so that you can see them, push the part of the cables that surround the bottom of your tire backwards and under your car a few inches. This will create slack behind the cables and allow you to pull the cables up in the back. Try pushing the rear upper connector back so that it is laying against the inside sidewall of your tire and then pull the front upper connectors towards you as hard as you can. On these particular cables, the upper front connector is BLACK and the bottom front connector is SILVER. When you're ready to take the cables off, if you get the wheel lined up so that the BLACK connector is on the top, it will be much easier to find and remove the rear connector (which will be opposite the black connector)."
"Visually inspecting the cables while trying to put them on, it looks like the right size would fit the car an have enough clearance to safely drive it."
"Ok, I've been lucky enough to never have to use these bad boys, but I have tested them out on my car and they are super easy to put on."
"I have not usd the chains yet but I stalled them to see how easy they go together and it was an easy set up, they appear to be solid, and if and when I use them I will update the review as to there quality and snow traction."
"Easy to put on!!"
"I would highly recommend watching the YouTube video and reading the instruction manual to familiarize yourself, although the process was quite easy."
"These are well designed chains and quite compact."
"easy to installed."

Best Snow Thrower & Yard Equipment Snow Chains

TerraGrips Tire Chains 23x10.5-12 [ST90008]
For superior traction year-round, TerraKing TerraGrips offer an exciting new alternative to steel tire chains. Rubber offers exceptional durability and prevents additional tire wear caused by steel chains.
Reviews
"I have been using chains for years but wearing out cross links regularly, marking up my pavement, tearing up my lawn and enduring a rough ride. These seem like the cross links will last longer than the chains, they don't mark up my pavement or tear up my lawn and they give you a smoother ride."
"Easy to install when you can move the tire around and tighten back and front and adjusting the rubber bars without any pressure on them. Bit bumpy when the tires are inflated to 10 psi, I might reduce the tire pressure to get a smoother ride."
"Good alternative to tire chains, but is not good on ice."
"Not quite as good as tire chains, but still very effective, and NO MARKS on my nice paved driveway."
"Had a set for 2 seasons."
"I had tire chains on my tractor and it was leaving scratch marks in the concrete."
"Excellent product, had great traction plowing HEAVY/WET snow (~10-12")."

Reviews
"I just purchased new tires for my horse trailer (always an expensive $500-700 or so drop) and purchased these after reading glowing reviews the same day. My previous set of trailer tires were never covered and even though they lasted many years, eventually started to show signs of failure (cracking, bruises, tire rot, etc) prematurely before the tread wore out. Also the climate here is very hot and dry and it really took a toll on the old tires. Usage/Application: The way these are designed to cover your tires is to slip over the wheels (elastic on the back around the wheel bearings) and be tied down with a rope string in the back."
"However the size they recommend for my size tires are just a little too snug. But they are also close to 3 inches too short on the tire and don't come to the ground so they don't protect the whole tire. Buying based on the description gave me covers that are too small. Too small size will be on its way back tomorrow once larger size arrives and in sure they fit. But if you are close to the limit on size it appears right choice is to go with next size up."
"No big deal and no fault of the product (the dirt came off pretty well)."
"These fit as described and work great, the only issue I had was the stitching was coming out on one of the covers, I did not return them instead I sewed it back together myself."
"The Adco alternative gave me that mush but were marginally more expensive."
"Felt lined and comes with a very nice storage bag."
"I am still astonished as the high quality of these wheel covers and the low price."
"Outstanding wheel covers that have two holes in each cover to use a bungy cord or the rope that's provided."
