Best Engine & Oil Fluid Additives

REV X Stiction Fix Oil Treatment - Two 4 fl. oz. Bottles
Where they start to experience static friction and fail to operate in proper time, this has become known as a "Stiction" issue for these engines. Stiction Issue in HEUI Injectors & Turbo Chargers Can be Repaired.
Reviews
"I have a 04 Ford F-250 diesel 6.0, recently the truck during 3/4 throttle pull popped the top of the oil filter cap. We never figured out what caused the issue, but we did do a full oil change and replaced filter and cap with motorcraft products. I’m sure glad I did because what I thought was going to be an injector replacement job ended up just being a stiction issue and now all my issues are gone."
"Truck sounded rough on cold start and would buck until oil got hot, but there were not codes. Truck now idles SMOOTH -- enough of a difference for a couple of my friends to comment on how much better it runs."
"I purchase this to cut down on the stiction issues during these colder months, but this also eliminated the constant black cloud."
"I know my injectors need to be replaced but even at $65 extra per oil change that's a lot cheaper than replacing the injectors."
"Keeps system running smooth in cold weather, and eliminates any striction problems."
"After some research I was hearing it was most likely stiction in the injectors, and that I should try REV X. While the price made me cringe, the price of new injectors made me take the gamble."
"I was experiencing some stiction issues with my diesel truck's injectors and after adding two bottles of REV-X following my last oil change, it has noticeably smoother idle and sound."
"This product really works."

Best Cooling System Additives

BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealer - 32 ounce(38386)
BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealer will repair and seal leaks in blown head gaskets, warped or cracked heads, heater cores, and freeze plugs. Contains no solid or particulate matter that can harm a vehicles engine.
Reviews
"This is because there is combustion gas constantly leaking into the coolant system creating a vapor lock in the heater core. Because of the high mileage I didn't want the expense of doing a head job, so decided to give Blue Devil a try. After 3 days driving I drained the coolant down, keeping the liquid, put the thermostats back in, then added enough anti-freeze for a 50/50 mix. Engine runs great, there are no misfires, no loss of coolant, no excess pressure and there is ample heat from the heater core with the car at idle. This is supposed to be a permanent repair so real proof will be how it holds up over time, including the upcoming winter. Prior to the Blue Devil repair, air/combustion gas would be trapped in the heater core meaning no heat inside the car unless RPM's were very high. I would not hesitate to use it again in the appropriate circumstance, which would for me be a high mileage vehicle, exhibiting symptoms of head gasket failure, having a cooling system that is in good condition. Fully drain, clean and flush the cooling system first, then use the Blue Devil per instructions, additionally driving the vehicle over a few days and a couple hundred miles before draining and adding the anti-freeze back in the system (must be done in non-freezing temps of course!)."
"I took the thermostat out. Flush it with the garden hose. Refill with water leaving room for the 1.5 quarts. Pour SLOWLY the sealer. Let it Idle for an hour. Turned the engine off and let it cooled down overnight. next morning I put the thermostat back. Refilled with coolant. NO MORE ISSUES. I would totally recommend, it's been about 5K miles and no problems."
"My mechanic diagnosed the head gasket as the issue, with coolant leaking into the cylinder and fouling the spark plugs causing a misfire. I drove for about 4 weeks without a misfire until it came back today after about 500 miles...also note that I only would drive this car locally for about 15-20 minute trips max, so I can't say whether this would work for a long highway trip."
"I flushed the coolant by opening the radiator drain cock while the engine was running and refilling the reservoir simultaneously with the garden hose until the drainage ran clear. I didn't want to add it to a full reservoir because very little of it would circulate with the motor running. The good news is that the reservoir tee's into the lower radiator hose which feeds the motor with cooled liquid. I drained the radiator and reservoir (2ish gallons) and added 1.5 bottles of Blue Devil to the empty reservoir which drained it directly into the main circulation."
