I wore underwear with a crotch size of 3 1/4 wide Neleus Women's 6 Pack Cotton Solid Color Brief Panties,Large / 7 and when I use the snaps to hold in place there was leakage on the sides; I eventually unsnapped the pad and wore a tight pair of shorts over my underwear to keep the menstrual cloth from bunching and leaking on the sides. Specs: Always Infinity with wings. Core: 8 1/2 overall length (there is about a 1/4 inch on the front and back of pad that does not have foam - but still absorbs). 2 3/8 narrowest point (front). 2 5/8 at middle. 2 7/8 Widest point (back). Wing: 1 3/4 front and 1 1/2 back. When not in use the elastic can easily be tucked under the teeth of the snappi to prevent any unintentional pokes when reaching into the box you store them in.
