"The back is high and firm, the seat is a bit softer but not so soft that you sink into it. It has a nice amount of support without being uncomfortable. Now onto the cons: I find the back angles a bit too sharply backwards so you do end up leaning quite far back if you want to rest your head. The color isn't a nice sharp gray, it's a dull grey with light brown mottled through which makes it look a bit more old fashioned than I would've liked."

"This chair looked great when I first built it and placed it in my nursery. I had brought home my 3 day old son and sat in this chair to feed him when the dowel in the back broke off and I started to fall through with my newborn son in my arms. EDIT/UPDATE: The seller contacted the manufacturer for me and the manufacturer replaced the entire chair without me having to return the broken chair, which I appreciated. I have not built the new chair yet and cannot comment on its quality."

"I don't know if the base ring was damaged before it left the factory, or damaged in shipping (the packaging is quite minimal for a product of this size and weight, with little protection inside the thin, flimsy cardboard box other than a few very thin styrofoam panels), but either way, it was problematic because the warped ring would tap on the floor with each rock, making an annoying sound. The company was easy to contact, and after I sent them some pictures of the warped ring and torn rubber foot, they sent me an entire replacement base for the chair at no cost to me, so kudos to them on excellent customer service!"
"PROS: - rocks very smoothly - it's almost a gliding motion it's so smooth - perfect for soothing baby. - rocks with a large range of motion. - great style. - the handle to recline is easy to reach on the side. - swivels - this wasn't a must for me, but now that I have it I'm so glad I do. - easy to get out of when sitting- the rocking/gliding motion helps propel you out of the chair (takes some getting used to actually haha). - reclines FAR back so that you can nap in it. - extremely easy to set up - comes to you in only two pieces and you don't need any tools - once I had help moving it into the nursery I was able to assemble it on my own at 7 months pregnant. CONS: - as most mentioned, it's a bit difficult for a shorter person to push the footrest back in. - for a shorter person, it's a bit difficult to keep it rocking as your feet don't touch the floor - I think I'm going to get a small cute little footstool to put in the front to put my feet on for short sittings and to keep it rocking easier. Overall, I love my new chair!"

"I believe I have an updated model as compared to the description of the product in previous reviews. Unfortunately the entire family sleeping in a large king sized hotel bed is becoming less of an option. There were some key features we were looking for: * First, we wanted a bed that was economically sound :) I'm sure anyone reading this who has more than one child understands that when one kid gets something, the others have to have the same. I've had plenty of air mattresses in my time and convenience and durability have always been questionable. They have noted that the center support strap is too tight and it creates an elevated section in the middle."

I feel that as cool as this bed is it lacks comfort, but I would chalk it up to the same as a pack n play or even the comfort of a crib mattress.
