Reviews
"For the purposes of this review, I'll skip slings, and stick to backpack style shoulder strap carriers. While it can get a little toasty for both you and baby on warm days, both wife and I felt that we could wear it just about forever. Unlike most backpack carriers, the Ergo has a waist belt on which most of the baby's weight rests. When worn correctly most of the baby's weight is distributed across your hips greatly reducing the stress/load on your shoulders and back. We have the "Air" model, and the special fabric actually does work to keep you and your baby cool. I find it merely a bit annoying, but the wife says she can't wear it for more than 5 or 10 minutes before it really starts to hurt. Bjorn Synergy/Active: Basically the Air/Classic but with wider, padded shoulder straps and a lumbar support piece. While the lumbar support is okay, the fundamental problem remains: all the weight is still placed on the shoulders. Currently we mostly use the Comfort, but I still bust out the Air on hot days or for short jaunts and all in all we are quite happy with the carrier situation."
"He is very fit and tall and has enjoyed using this carrier for her when out for walks, in the airport to have hands free for luggage, and for holding baby during long flights when she was 2- and 4-months-old (not during take-off landing, this is not allowed). The carrier is quite easy to use and to be sure that you have the baby secure. If you watch the Babybjorn-produced video on YouTube, you can see how to hold the baby to make it even easier to get the baby in and out in forward or rear facing positions. We always intended to have two baby carriers (his and hers) so that the straps didn't have to be readjusted all the time (and we had different preferences). I didn't find the baby bjorn as comfortable or easy to use in the newborn period as the Moby-style and Boba-style wraps I made from just buying 5.5 meters of stretch knit in prints I liked (I'd recommend 6 meters unless you are really petite) and cutting the fabric in half down the long side (I think 22" wide for the Boba-style and 35" if you want the Moby-style)."
"great support for your back."
"My newborn is 6lbs (minimum weight reccomended to use is 8lb) but this saves me when she is fussy and won’t let me put her down."
"I purchased the grey and white one which was the most expensive one but I didn't realize it was made entirely out of mesh fabric... it was not as soft as I would if liked so I returned it and will by the other one."
"The only carrier my newby fits in and one of the only ways she'll stop crying."

"For size reference; I am 5'3", 120(pre-pregnancy), and 135(post-pregnancy) and a 36c bra pre-pregnancy and now a 36dd, and I ordered the x-small; my baby is 8 weeks at 12 lbs and fits well. I called Baby K'tan customer service and spoke with a wonderful lady named Jamie and she helped me figure out what size was the best. She asked some questions to determine correct sizing and shared a few tips on how to stretch it out a bit before I put my LO in so he wasn't smushed, and where exactly he should be sitting on my body."
"I love this carrier for the following reasons: 1) AWESOME for breastfeeding in public - and this is coming from a first-time mom with a 9wk old. I wear this out like an infinity scarf, and when kiddo gets hungry, I slip the loops on (just follow instructions in package) and pop her in. The K'tan supports her weight so my arms don't get tired and my back doesn't hurt... and I can have a free hand if needed - and can even nurse standing up/ walking around!!! I wore it the other day while feeding in public at a sandwich shop and at least 3 guys walked by me and were clearly oblivious to the fact I was nursing. Worn with my favorite nursing top by a company called LaClef (https://www.amazon.com/LaClef-Doubled-Maternity-Breastfeeding-Charcoal/dp/B01IYMU2M6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1478883341&sr=8-4&keywords=laclef), you can do stealthy feeding anywhere. BUT the small is fine for nursing (maybe even better than a Med), so I use it for that, and in a pinch for babywearing - but I did go back to buy a second wrap in size medium (again). Like I said, I wear the carrier as an infinity scarf (one less thing to stuff into my diaper bag, plus I never have to worry about not having it if I'm already wearing it)... but I've had several occasions where I look down at my "chic infinity scarf" and see "WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD" in bright red lettering on a white satin tag instead. I bought both of mine as "open box" deals on amazon and saved a couple bucks."
"The sizing seems correct but I keep thinking if will fit when the baby will grow, but K'tan website ensures that will be ok, especially with different positions, - the material is very soft and keeps my 1 month old snuggle to me. He is very curious and loves to see the world, and at the same time when falls asleep can be hold tight, - carrier feels very comfortable and truly hands free; it feels the most natural from all the carriers I've tried, - the sash is also a storage tote at the same time so it is easy to carry the whole thing in a diaper bag, matching hat is cute but doesn't fit my 5 weeks old yet even after washing and drying (size 0-3 months; but he will grow to it eventually), - I can do a lot stuff at home with my son next to me, he sleeps better and longer. I've tried: -Infantino Wrap and Tie, and it is mediocre; -Beco Gemini way to big for newborn and seems a bit bulky for me (my husband and I ended up using this carrier max 5 times, takes too much time to readjust the straps, it is not easy to figure it out-it takes too much time and everybody is sweating in clothes before walk, very annoying; unsnapping is almost impossible to do it due to safety click, especially when holding the baby after unbuckling first straps), must air dry as recommended otherwise will pick up every lint from the drier, air dry takes some time too because it is thick carrier; expensive and so inconvenient, -Munchkin sling and definitely it is not for small babies, it's not stretchy and didn't feel right and safe, -and some old Snuggli my friend passed it to me, it worked for newborn and I used it till now, but it was killing my back due to the bad ergonomics of the buckle system). I highly recommend Baby K'tan and might get light color for the summer or mesh one (depends how hot it will be in black one). UPDATE: I ended up will only black carrier that was used during winter in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas summer, worked great. UPDATE: my son at 11 months old, I lost some weight (128 lb now) and carrier still fits great, I don't use gemini one at all, K'tan rocks. Still both hands are free and I can walk my two dogs on the leashes, go to the store for some groceries and never get any back pain."
"But the baby K'tan allows me to do things around the house with the baby which is great!"

"I am not at all the type of mom who knows about specific wraps or is super into "baby wearing", I was simply a first time mom who thought the baby bjorn looked a little uncomfortable."
"My 2 month old loves this wrap and I take him everywhere in it; the grocery store, baseball games, around the house, etc."
"I’ve been baby wearing my daughter in this thing since she was born."
"This is baby #4 for me and is definitely the most comfortable baby carrier I’ve ever had because I can distribute the weight to make it more comfortable."
"I highly recommend this for anyone who is active and needs to get things done around the house!"
"This was a gift."
"I flew across the country with her at 6 weeks and she stayed happily in the Boba through the airport, through, security and during the flight, only letting out a small squeak when she was hungry or wet."
"I wanted to get a baby carrier that didn't have the straps because I have found they are pretty uncomfortable.I settled on this one, there is definitely a learning curve to using this, it is a super long piece of fabric so it would fit most any size which was a plus."

"We received a genuine Skip Hop backpack, and our little 4-year-old likes to wear this with a few toys or other clothes and stuff in it when she goes to Grandma's to visit or when she is spending the night away from home."
"We've tossed it in the wash several times; it has minimal fading and we have never encountered color bleed. **Original Review**. I only bought this because I wanted to try a different bag (thinking out of the box, er, bag here) than the gigantic Jeep Weekender bag we have now. Inside, I packed an extra outfit, a changing pad, a ziplock with crunchies, a ziplock with one stage 3 jar, one baby yogurt and a spoon, links with toy attached, and a wubbanub."
"We have a trip coming up and this will be his personal item for the airplane and will fit everything he needs plus stuff for his sister."
"I like the small insulated pocket in the front (too small for lunch, but great for an easily accessible snack), and the well-sized water bottle pocket on the side."
"The structure of the backpack allows a lot to fit inside."
"5 star for smiles from my daughter."
"So, luckily I have a younger son who could use it for bringing his things to and from Grandma's house, car trips, etc. Like I said, it is super cute, perfect for either a boy or girl, it is really well made and durable, and aside from being just a little too small height-wise to hold a standard size folder, it is roomy enough to carry a change of clothes, along with a few books, a few small toys, and even some snacks for that extra-long car trip or an overnight stay at Grandma's house."
"This is the perfect backpack for my 2 yo to bring to daycare!"

"Adorable, but the clip in the back is so low that a 2-year old has trouble with the straps slipping off the shoulders- to the point that she is getting to be turned off to using it all together."
