"😂. I would like to start off by saying although the bottom of this diffuser has a wood grain look, it is entirely made out of plastic. All you have to do is lift the lid, fill with water (using the plastic filling cup provided), put few drops of your essential oil (sold separately) into the water, (more or less depending on how strong you want it to be), put the lid back on, plug it in, and then choose your settings on the front. The other one I bought is nicer appearance wise (it is wood and glass and just looks better in my opinion) but it is much louder than this one. My daughter has been keeping this one in her bedroom at night and I LOVE that I can turn on the lights without running the diffuser. If she's sick or having problems sleeping I can diffuse essential oils, but most nights it's used as a nightlight. Before I bought this diffuser, I tried putting essential oils in our humidifier when someone was sick. I definitely don't recommend doing that unless your humidifier specifically states essential oils are safe to use with it."

Fostered a litter of kittens with upper respiratory illness, put some grapefruit seed essential oil in and kittens' sneezing and goopy eyes subsided in a few days. "I go through it all in my video, as well as demonstrating use (so you will know how to work it without relying on the somewhat simplistic instructions), but to highlight: 1) MASSIVE Water Well - 500ml is upwards 5x the size of the typical ultrasonic diffuser. Also clearly marks the drain side, avoiding getting water into the Air Intake on the opposite side. 10) There is probably some gurgling when the water level gets particularly low (I assume this judging from the strength of the piezo-electric that needs to be had in order to shift the volume of water), but anywhere from 300 to 500ml, zero sound or even low level mist hissing. 11) And a final personal note from me, you do want to regularly clean any ultrasonic diffuser - considering the sizing capacity of this, I'd say every time you fill it, first run warm water into it, drain, then dry clean with a paper towel, removing any oil build-up/residue. If more in depth cleaning is desired, like the piezo-electric itself, warm water and some citric acid, letting it steep for 20 minutes, drain and once again dry clean. :). -- I received this as a complimentary oil diffuser with the aim of hopefully elucidating features and drawbacks that may help you ultimately decide what fits your needs and budget best."

"The only thing with these types of humidifiers, in my experience, is you have to be careful when using the high setting, because eventually the air will get saturated and there is a high probability of condensation on the floor and any objects in proximity. To combat this, I use a water proof tray (which can be seen under the humidifier in all of the photos), but this requires making sure the directional spout dispenses above the tray. Also, on low mode, a tank of water lasts more than a day, so again, care and maintenance of this humidifier is minimal."

The forced hot air that heats our home causes dry itchy skin, and furthermore it gives me headaches and it contributes to my husband occasional nosebleeds. In addition, since we were replacing the humidifier in the bedroom, I needed a silent one and without any lights that would disturb my sleep. Sweep a finger right over the sensor touch ‘power’ button on the front of the unit, and a small blue half circle and bar will light that looks similar to this symbol (‘ and this turns the power on to the lowest setting (indicated by a small yellow LED pinpoint light). This humidifier holds up to 5 liters of water, which is the equivalent of 1 gallon and 1 extra quart in American measurements. Since I need the humidity on a 24-hour basis, I now leave it at low, to maintain, and although it lasts longer than a day, I refill the water tank around the same time every evening. I have not experienced any condensation, therefore the area, the furniture, and all around the location of this humidifier remains completely dry. Speaking of the owner's manual, it's clearly been translated into English from what I'd guess was originally Mandarin, but was still easy to understand. "If I am able to find contact info for the company and can get a replacement, I will happily update this review to 5 stars. I was very happy to see that not only do they pay attention and read their customers reviews, but also that when they see a problem they address it. After the first one stopped working I bought a different one because I absolutely loved diffusing essential oils. The other one I bought is nicer appearance wise (it is wood and glass and just looks better in my opinion) but it is much louder than this one. My daughter has been keeping this one in her bedroom at night and I LOVE that I can turn on the lights without running the diffuser. If she's sick or having problems sleeping I can diffuse essential oils, but most nights it's used as a nightlight. Before I bought this diffuser, I tried putting essential oils in our humidifier when someone was sick. I definitely don't recommend doing that unless your humidifier specifically states essential oils are safe to use with it."
"I go through it all in my video, as well as demonstrating use (so you will know how to work it without relying on the somewhat simplistic instructions), but to highlight: 1) MASSIVE Water Well - 500ml is upwards 5x the size of the typical ultrasonic diffuser. Also clearly marks the drain side, avoiding getting water into the Air Intake on the opposite side. 10) There is probably some gurgling when the water level gets particularly low (I assume this judging from the strength of the piezo-electric that needs to be had in order to shift the volume of water), but anywhere from 300 to 500ml, zero sound or even low level mist hissing. 11) And a final personal note from me, you do want to regularly clean any ultrasonic diffuser - considering the sizing capacity of this, I'd say every time you fill it, first run warm water into it, drain, then dry clean with a paper towel, removing any oil build-up/residue. If more in depth cleaning is desired, like the piezo-electric itself, warm water and some citric acid, letting it steep for 20 minutes, drain and once again dry clean. :). -- I received this as a complimentary oil diffuser with the aim of hopefully elucidating features and drawbacks that may help you ultimately decide what fits your needs and budget best."
