"I have tried previously to use curling irons, and after a solid 45 minutes working through my hair, had managed nothing but adding a slight wave. Clip the rolled hair to stay in place while the rollers cool -- generally 10 to 20 minutes, depending on how serious you want those curls to be. Then unroll gently, shake out a bit for a more natural look, and fix in place with your preferred hairspray or product. I would give it five stars except for my single complaint: the metal pins to keep the rollers in place on your head simply don't work very well."
