"Filled with Captivating, Complex and Intricately detailed Paisley Patterns, Circular Mandalas, Flowers and a even few Animals, plus 3 girls in graceful yoga poses, as well as a goddess, all are adorned in elaborate designs and patterns inspired by the ancient Mehndi (henna tattoo) patterns of Africa, India, and the Middle East. When my mind is racing and stress fills my being, I grab my Colored pencils, Ultra Fine Markers or Gel Pens and this book; I spend a few minutes adding color to these gorgeous patterns and almost immediately the stress is replaced with calm and tranquility. The Illustrations include: 14 Circular Mandalas, 13 Paisley Designs, 4 girls in yoga poses covered with henna tattoos, 4 animals which include 2 Elephants, an Owl, Butterfly, and a Crab all adorned in designs, Plus 13 other miscellaneous patterns including henna inspired flower patterns."
"Love it!"
"Pros: - Neat paper. - Not as pix-elated as similar. - Some great designs. - Nice Variety. Cons: - Some may be too detailed for me. So I got this around the same time I got a lot of other coloring books. I would leave a page below and above and close the book to keep the paper from wrinkling. I was not able to do some of the smallest details but I was happy with the way my design turned out and the pencil was very vibrant on it."
"If you are a starter like me I suggest buying Crayola colors; I didn’t want to spend so much money in this hobby so I found for $7USD the “Crayola 64 Ct Short Colored Pencils Kids Choice Colors” Crayola 64 Ct Short Colored Pencils Kids Choice Colors which has a large variety of colors that look nice."
"I really enjoy the pages in this book and there are a lot of them."
"REALLY SMALL."

Adult Coloring Book Designs: Stress Relief Coloring Book: Garden Designs, Mandalas, Animals, and Paisley Patterns
48 Unique Designs to Color!
Reviews
"This coloring book is filled with a variety of illustrations, you will find Circular Mandala patterns from simple to intricate, Floral Patterns, Illustrations with Animals and Birds as the focal point and set in imaginative backgrounds, plus paisley patterns from diabolically detailed to simply detailed. NOTE; The publisher of this book is new and has published only their first two books, as I write this review and should not be confused with other publishers with similar names. This is Adult Coloring Book DESIGNS,( Stress relief coloring book, Garden Designs, Mandalas, Animals and Paisley Patterns), the other book by this publisher is Adult Coloring Book DESIGNS ,(Mandalas) . NOTE: With the increase in the number of coloring book self publishers, using printers like Amazons Create a Space to print the books, hundreds of coloring books are being published and a large percentage of these new publishers along with some of the well established publishers are purchasing images on line from artists who sell their images on a number of internet sites. Many of these books are collections of purchased images from many artists who do not publish their own coloring books."
"Great images!!"
"And if your coloring with markers that bleed through pages, you'll want to tear out the pages or remember to put a few sheets of paper under the one you're coloring so you don't ruin the picture underneath."
"My daughter in law was on bedrest while pregnant with our granddaughter."
"The hard cover makes the book look more expensive."
"When your sitting for a month watching over a sick loved one this coloring book helps keep your mind from walking right out the front door."
"I like the paper quality, the different design, and the size."
"Again, pages not marked for being removed from book."

Animetrics: A Striking Color-By-Sticker Challenge
Inside the pages of this innovative book, you'll discover 12 animal portraits to complete with geometric sticker shapes. "Intricate, complex, and absorbing, you'll enjoy hours piecing together these sticker puzzles and creating something beautiful and unforgettable."
Reviews
"12 animal designs on a large format page, to fill with stickers to make an elegant image. This book is similar to the "Paint-by-sticker" series - you fill in a page by finding the labelled sticker to fit in its designed spot. This allows you not to worry as much about placing the stickers exactly and tightly together (as they seem to warp a little, this is not as easy as it sounds), because the colored border will be a background for any small gap. You can reposition them but it may mean they are wrinkled or creased.. - Finally I find the designs to be just more elegant, both in the central image and in the choice of the solid color backgrounds."
"The sticker pages at the back do not have titles or anything, so you have to look at the background color to know which page to use. While the edges of the sticker pages have tear lines, in between the pages do not which means you have to cut them or flip back and forth."
"It's helps keep my fine motor skills sharp and results in beautiful, intriguing pictures."
"It is neat, but the stickers are not bigger, and it is done work to get them on right without the white background showing."
"Fun and relaxing."
"Another sticker book that is of excellent quality!"
"My 11 yr old son loves this book!"

Reviews
"Different levels of detailing from page to page so that you have options to fit your mood. First photo has more intricate detailing and is the first page I completed in the book (used gel pens)."
"Bring out your imagination, arouse your senses and creativity, and as you become engaged in the pleasurable, soothing activity of Coloring, it calms you and instantaneously starts reducing your stress level. This book is a wonderful addition to your coloring library; a perfect gift school aged children, college students, or adults who enjoy coloring, and a much easier way to reduce stress than going to the gym."
"Patients and their families can color in the books while waiting and easily rip out the pages if they want to take their artwork home with them, or they can leave it for other people to admire or add to."
"It may see laughable but these coloring books is not your typical children coloring book, it is more detailed and you lose yourself as you color the details."
"It's not exactly for beginners, which you can see from the first image I have posted (I'm semi-new to adult coloring books), but with patience and practice, this book is well worth the investment. The paper is a bit thin compared to others I have, however each page is one-sided so either tearing out the page or placing a blank piece of paper between the pages prevents the dreaded ink bleed-through."
"I love this book!"
"This is my first coloring book purchase and so far it has been a lot of fun."
"Love the designs."

Adult Coloring Book: Butterflies and Flowers : Stress Relieving Patterns (Volume 7)
It’s perfect gift for the “Butterflies and Flowers”. You will found 30 designs of different dimension of butterflies and flowers such as cute butterflies, art butterflies, creative butterflies, graphic butterflies and etc.
Reviews
"I am happy with the designs in this book."
"The rest of the images are very nicely done and all of them include butterflies, six are individual butterflies centered on the page, others are flutters of butterflies filling the page or in graceful patterns, you will find 3 like the cover page and other patterns made up of butterflies and flora. The printing is not centered, 7 of the images in the book I got are cut off at the edge of the page, these are smaller images and include individual butterflies that should all be on the page, also Butterflies is spelt wrong on the cover of my book it is Butterfies ."
"Not all pictures are as detailed as the one on the cover (which is, of course, the nicest one in the book by far) - and many images seemed simplistic and more suited to an older child than an adult. But...when all is said and done there are enough nice images (30) to make the book somewhat worth while gven the reduced price."
"Its kind of the standard coloring book paper though."
"The prints on the pages are not centered, a lot of them look like lines are missing causing gaps and spaces in the picture that shouldn't be there, also the paper seems a bit thinner than my other books."
"The designs are really pretty but the quality of the paper leaves much to be desired, making it a bit difficult to work with, especially if you're partial to markers, which, thankfully, I am not... but if you stick to colored pencils or other dry media, it's great."
"Kim called her friends and her father almost as soon as she opened the gifts, (colored pencils)."
"I bought this for my 88 year old Mother only to learn the night before I am to give it to her that the binding is defective."

Q&A a Day: 5-Year Journal
With questions that are sometimes provocative (“On a scale of one to ten, how happy are you?”), occasionally quirky (“What can you smell right now?”), and inevitably interesting (“If you could travel anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?”), this classically designed journal—embellished with beautiful details—is the perfect gift for anyone embarking on a new phase of life. Potter Style , an imprint of the Crown Publishing group, is a high-end gift book and stationery line, specializing in lifestyle, design, art, fashion, humor, and DIY.
Reviews
"However, you will get that with any journal that is attempting to come up with 365 unique questions. So it is overall a good little journal."
"But seeing those realities scattered throughout the journal is helping me realize what I can control and what I can't. Yes, there are some silly questions in here and some that don't lead to greater self-awareness or life-changing epiphanies, but I appreciated the variety, because I think I would have found it difficult to answer a deep or self-analytical question every single day."
"The gold leaf edges are beautifully done and the card stock used is perfect! I've had it a few days now and am enjoying writing little statements to answer the questions."
"I did find some of the questions are really similar; the question asks the same thing in different ways."
"This book arrived with many bent pages and fairly dusty."
"Looks like it was forced into the box with the other items I purchased which caused it to be bent a bit on the back cover resulting in it being ripped."
"I've always loved Journaling but, I am not always good at keeping up with it."
"This journal is very small in size as shown in all the pictures below."

Reviews
"What a wonderful book , full of stunning, imaginative, very detailed, highly decorated, animal drawings, a couple are simply detailed, a couple more than diabolically detailed, most are just right, like the Cat I colored and I am attaching. (The COVER PICTURE is NOW included in the book, it is on line at the following site for you to print and color as an amazing FREE example of the other illustrations you will have when you purchase this unique coloring book. The details are so tiny that you should use Colored pencils, Gel Pens, or Ultra Fine markers for this book."
"I used gel pens for this picture but some of the drawings will have to be colored with pencils as some of the pictures have tiny, tiny areas."
"Lots of cool pictures to color, each page has a blank back which is great so that your markers do not bleed through onto another picture."
"I have bought a few other coloring books but this one is my favorite so far!"
"______________________________________________________________________. I work behind a computer all day and have a 2 year old so I wanted something to do when the day is over to help me unwind (that doesn't involve looking at a screen). The pages are one sided so you can use markers if you want. Note: The copy I received was missing the lion page like on the front cover but my understanding was this was due to a misprint and the seller is happy to replace if you email them."
"Amazing."
"I've purchased about 10 Coloring Books in the last few months and this one is by far my favorite (but I have 5 cats and 3 dogs so I may be a little biased :). This book is a great addition to your coloring book collection - a perfect gift for animal lovers and people that need a little stress relief in their lives :)."
"Very fun."

"Never in my life would I think I'd find myself scouring the windowsills and corners of the garage to collect dead bugs (yes, really...there's a page for that) - but there are some petrified flies carefully enclosed in tape in my journal."
"I bought 3 of these as gifts."
"Really creative and fun, the recipient (age 14) was intrigued and kept flipping through pages to read the suggestions and laughing out loud."
"Ordered one for myself and one for my niece."

Best Science & Anatomy Coloring Books for Grown-Ups

The Anatomy Coloring Book
For more than 35 years, The Anatomy Coloring Book has been the #1 best-selling human anatomy coloring book! Immediately recognizing the potential of this method, Dr. Elson encouraged Kapit to do a “complete” coloring book on anatomy and offered to collaborate on the project. The first edition of The Anatomy Coloring Book was published in 1977, and its immediate success inspired the development of a completely new field of publishing: educational coloring books. In the early 1990s, Kapit wrote and designed The Geography Coloring Book, now in its second edition. This is his seventh text, having authored It’s Your Body and The Zoology Coloring Book and co-authored The Human Brain Coloring Book and The Microbiology Color. ing Book. Dr. Elson was assistant professor of anatomy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, participated in the development of the Physician’s Assistant Program, lectured and taught dissection anatomy at the University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco, and taught general anatomy, from protozoons to humans, at City College of San Francisco.
Reviews
"IMPORTANT: Make sure you READ ALL the information in the section labeled "INTRODUCTION TO COLORING" BEFORE you start coloring your first page. For example, I chose Red, Orange and Yellow for the "Levators"; 2 colors of Blue for the "Zygomaticus Major" and "Zygomaticus Minor"' and 2 shades of Brown for the "Depressors" (page 44). NOTE: I realize this takes extra time planning your colors, but it really makes it easier to memorize when there is a consistant plan in place for what the colors visually symbolize."
"My granddaughter started her education in the field of medicine this fall with an anatomy and physiology class at college. When I began my education in the nursing field back in 1982 my A and P professor suggested everyone in class get the anatomy and physiology coloring book offered at the college bookstore."
"This book has helped me SO much with anatomy 101. easy to read, easy to understand. easy to color. Highly recommend this for educational coloring."
"It's a great learning tool for all ages."
"Very informative, and makes things a bit more fun."
"I bought this coloring book for my girlfriend when she started massage school."
"I didn't want to spend a couple $100 on another textbook when I took a summer anatomy class, but thankfully I heard about this textbook from other students and thought $15 is better than hundreds."
"My only critique is that I wish the words and pictures were a little bigger, but overall great educational coloring book."

"I appreciate some of the other reviewers stating that these can be difficult and take some time to complete, but some of the negative reviews are pretty harsh and sound like they are just written by a bunch of grumpy people with no patience. Good thing Amazon reviews didn't exist in the 1800s when folks were moving West, we never would have gotten past the Mississippi River: "The wagon ride is harsh and the days are long."
"The only downside is the numbers were fairly small, I didn't realize how many little dots would be on each page. For most people that's alright, for the older generations it might be harder on their eyes. We saw this book and several similar at Barnes and Noble after I purchased it on Amazon."
"I got into doing dot-to-dot puzzles back in the early 2000s with the David Kalvitis books, then sort of lost interest. This is a large book -- about 10" x 14" -- and each puzzle occupies one single removable page. I'll be purchasing additional books by this artist -- winter is approaching, and our Pacific NW weather is conducive to cozying up indoors."
"So I bought a few other dot to dot books and this is my favorite by far!!!!!"
"Yes, there are a gazillion dots, but they're grouped according to color and I found with a good magnifying glass that I could complete each page, not easily though."
"I use a binder as an underlay, as for some reason the book doesn't have a flap to act as one."
"Pictures are of the book cover and the cities that you make."
"I particularly enjoy tackling it when I've had a stressful day or my thoughts are racing, since it's an easy activity that still forces me to concentrate on what's on the page."

"This is a lovely Scriptural based coloring book from Christian Art Publishers. Here is a brief overview of what I found in this coloring book: 62 Pages of Designs based on The Psalms. Designs printed on one side of smooth, white, heavyweight perforated paper. Glue Binding. Most designs merge past perforations into the binding area. Alcohol-based makers bleed through the page. Water-based markers, India ink pens, and gel pens do not bleed through the page though gel pens require a longer than usual drying period. Coloring pencils were mixed."
"The recipeint of this coloring book was really happy and surprised there are psalms in coloring books."
"This is a wonderful coloring book."
"L love the l page/l picture format of this book.. Good strong stock which keeps inks/pencils from being absorbed and coming through on the backs of the pictures."

Art of Coloring Star Wars: 100 Images to Inspire Creativity and Relaxation (Art Therapy)
Relax, and let the creativity flow through you.
Reviews
"Attached to this review will be a silent flip-through of the entire coloring book so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it will work for you. The book has a nice heavyweight cardboard cover (front and back) which makes for a great solid surface to color on. The four two page designs are wallpaper style of repeating patterns and each is dedicated to a single subject: Yoda, R2-D2, C-3PO, Boba Fett, and finally, various ships in the midst of a battle. All of my markers bleed-through on this paper thought my Staedler triplus fineliners fared the best with more of a shadow image on the back of the page."
"I flipped through the book and found the images to be far better than any other Star Wars themed adult coloring options. I gave this 5 stars because it ticked all the boxes for a picky, vocal adult friend who is a Star Wars and coloring fan."
"With these books, every other page spread has a photographic design like a movie poster or normal coloring page and then on the next spread is somewhat of a wallpaper designs. Studies have shown that coloring is very good for people with anxiety and depression as it forces you to use specific parts of your brain and inspires creativity."
"some of the pages are amazingly beautiful, some are just OK, and some are downright confusing."
"The hard cover was well done, and even though I had read that some of the reviewers did not think the pictures were adult enough, I thought they were ok. Now that being said, I bought it for my 14 year old's birthday gift, so not for an adult."
"It is an ADULT coloring book which means there are a few bikini images of Princess Leia that, I suppose may be PG rated."
