"Wanting to use my 10.5 mm f/0.95 lens for extreme macrophotography but being unable to find 72 mm macro reverse rings for the micro four thirds mount, I got this to use with my 58 mm macro reverse ring and it works very well with no vignetting (corner darkening)."
"It came with the camera kit and the other lens was the new 18-50 MM weather resistant K mount lens that has 58 MM threads. I was going to buy another set of filters for the 58 MM one but knew that they had step-up adapter rings so I decided to search for a step-down adapter ring that would fit my lens and the lens filters. Also, this saved me money since the 49 MM filter kit was cheaper than a 58 MM filter kit and the step-down adapter ring enabled me to be able to use the 49 MM filters on the 58 MM lens without having to buy another set of lens filters. I was standing on a sidewalk and didn't want to drop the camera, adapter ring, or the glass lens filter I was using a the time onto the concrete."
"This Goja branded 58-49 step-down adapter worked well and threaded on (and more importantly, off) both my Canon lens (58mm ø) and the fisheye converter I was attaching to the front of it."
"Works as described."

"Hey, it's a piece of aluminum - it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg as long as the threads are good quality, which they seem to be. Some reviewers on Amazon mentioned uneven finishes, and plastic construction; neither of which this one has. This one black anodized aluminum (I assume, it's very light) and the machining on the threads are even, cut well and precisely, at both ends. I probably will order more from this company, Goja, maybe to adapt to other lenses in the future or perhaps some filters."
"When I received it in the mail amazon actually sent me the wrong step up size but after talking to the seller (which were very nice people) they apologized and sent me out the correct size no hassle from their warehouse."
"I purchased the Chromo Inc CI55000230 Macro Ring 48 LED Power Light for Canon, Sony, Nikon, Sigma Lenses when it came up as a good deal a couple weeks ago, thinking that from the product description it "should" fit most any camera lens between all of the different ring size options. I finally did a thorough search to figure out what the exact mm size is for her lens... which after about 5 or 6 sites said the same thing, I now knew that the 40.5 - 52mm step-up ring is what was needed to FINALLY get her light ring working with her camera! We quickly got out her light ring and attached it to the 52mm adaptor ring in her kit, then carefully threaded on both of them to her camera."
"I lost the first one I bought in central America."
"Canon say on your 80-300 mm is 58mm but the nifty fifty is 49mm so can't use on the fifty, but a uv ircut lens in 49mm is $50 this saves you approx."
"It threaded easily and smoothly together with the lens and the filter I was using."
