I use it on my Remington 700 ADL in 223 and shoot 600 yards with it No Problem. Well, I am now selling all 3 and just purchased another Nikon Buckmaster II 4-12X. Find Best Price at Amazon"I also have a Aimpoint CompM4 , in comparison yes the quality of the Aimpoint is a better ......but I can tell you I have about 800+ RDS threw one rifle with the Bushnell trs25 on it and it holds zero dead on , I had one issues with it once where the red dot was flickering but I'm pretty sure I had the switch in between clicks ."
"Rear cap attachment ring had to be trimmed down to the flip up hinge leaving about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of attachment ring. Little super glue to both ends of red dot and slide them on."
"At 200 yds it was dead nuts accurate the .223 round both hit bullzeyes with out adjustment but at 300 yds I had to hold 8 inchs high on target and after two groups was able to hit a 8.5" X 11 paper target....totaly blown away by this non magnified sight.... I have only may be 20 rounds thru it but still hitting bullzeyes at 40 yds with slugs."

In addition to regular knocks, jolts, and scrapes, it is able to withstand the recoil of a spring powered air rifle (the bilateral forces of a spring piston are notorious for destroying good firearm scopes). Regardless of the host of this scope, I have always found myself uncomfortable with how far I have to lean in to get proper eye relief."
"First thing I did was loosely set the scope in the mounts (on a table), roughly centered on the two tube sections, and installed the top mounts finger tight. This scope was bought to replace a CVLife 3-9x32 unit which had a HORRIBLY short eye relief. I'll definitely be updating this weekend once I get some rounds put through it, and will also get some video of the scope functions including the turrets, as well as the colored reticles. The scope was easy to adjust, and seemed to work well enough. Later I'll set it up with a 200yd zero using 123 grain Hornady SST ballistic tips...but for now I just wanted to get it shooting the Wolf 100 grain FMJBT I have on hand. Final result was about 2.5MOA...but keep in mind this was in no way the scope's fault."
"At this price, it's more like you're buying the quick release rings, caps and sun shade and getting a variable power scope with illuminated reticle free. Bought it for a 10/22 takedown simply because of its size -- I read many reviews that said the 10/22 will fit in the stock bag with the scope attached. I zeroed it at 100 yds on a 300 BLK AR to test, and that is where it has stayed. If your application or tastes demand better, why are you wasting your time reading about an $80 scope?"

Find Best Price at Amazon"The front sight fits slightly loose in the slide slot just as it should so you can make adjustments for proper alignment. I set mine straight with a small straight edge/ruler laying up against it and down the length of the slide BEFORE I put the rear sight on and it was very easy to line it up properly. The stock front sight screw was set further forward in the slide making use of a socket on the screw to remove it impossible because there was zero room between the front edges of the screw/bolt and the front of the slide. The Truglo front sight has it's mounting bolt set back further towards the rear of the slide slot making use of a socket to tighten the bolt with my standard Craftsman 3/16" socket doable. Coat the cleaned bottom of the front sight with Loctite making sure you do not get any in the bolt hole and set the sight onto the slide. The Loctite on the sight will do a fine job of holding everything in place, the screw just needs to keep everything in place while the Loctite cures and moderate screw tension will keep the sight in place for years. If the rear sight goes in almost half way with moderate tapping with a punch you should be able to install the rear sight."
