Using this card reader, I was able to plug her Micro SD into my computer, and, with the card still in the reader, ran a data recovery program that rebuilt all her photos that weren't corrupted. Like I said, I don't use card readers very often any more, but this is one of those things that I feel like everyone should have in case of an emergency, like needing to download photos after a digital camera's computer cable is lost, or when you need to get files off an Android."

I found out that there are indeed two adjustment knobs on the screen that will change the travel distance of the screen both in the up and down direction. Lower the screen a bit using the control box button, press the stop button and then raise it back up. When it stop turn the control, and as you do the screen will either raise or lower (depending on which way you turn the wrench) a small amount. To adjust the down direction you do the same procedure using the other control adjustment...you simple lower the screen all the way using the control box and then make the fine adjustment by turning the control knob using the wrench. UPDATE: 4/22/15. As I posted in my original review I was a little disapointed when I discovered that the projector remote was RF (radio frequency) controlled and not IR (infrared) controlled as stated in the ad. This is only because I use a Harmony remote to easily control all my AV gear with a simple click of the remote, and it only works with IR controlled device. Having an extra remote to simply raise and lower the screen really bugged me, since most all my home is automated to some degree and I also wanted the projector screen to be included in that category. Since the Homegear screen also has a manual control box that can be used to raise and lower the screen it seemed possible to wire in the MK-161 to the Homegear control box to simulate actually pressing the keys when the relay closed to raise and lower the screen. The next perfect thing was that the Harmony already knew about the MK-161in it's database, so it was easy to add the codes to my remote and then add the device into my Harmony activities so that everytime I selected "watch a movie" on the remote it would send the IR codes to the MK-161, which in turn would pulse the appropriate relay and manually make the switch in the Homegear control box temporarily close-- the same was if I had pressed the actual button on the control box. I ended up putting the MK-161 in a project and mounting next to the Homegear control box and you'd think it actually came with the screen. UPDATE: 5/3/16. It's been over a year now and I just wanted to follow-up and let everyone know that the screen, projector and MK-161 control box is still working flawlessly."

"I'm not a huge review writer, but this product and the support provided by Belkin warrants some comments. The product failed within the first 30 days while being hooked up to my computer and a TV. No fuses tripped within my home... something apparently just shorted out inside the unit. They have a process similar to Amazon which allows them to ship you the new product, then you return the defective one to them once the new one is received. This is obviously a huge part of the equation for a $25.00 product and I assume it will be covered eventually once they provide some actual dollar figures about what I will be charged if I don't return the bad one. So I contact CitiBank (my credit card) to notify them of a probable dispute at this point... and they tell me the actual charge was $80.30. Anyway, short version: product failed twice (which to me warrants the one star review alone), Belkin customer service then provides the trifecta of failure. Five days later I received a response that appeared to be written by an actual person (versus an automated reply) that stated. "Thank you for contacting Belkin Technical Support. Please call our customer support department during business hours". So that was great. I never received anything and tracking shows it was returned to their docks almost a month ago, yet they charge me."

"The real news: none of Belkin's products, or other similar surge protectors, can protect electronic equipment during a catastrophic surge, such as that caused by a close lightning strike. Such a protector, properly connected by an electrician, will dissipate 85-90% of the initial surge from a lightning strike, and allow a Belkin-type protector, if good enough, to do its intended job. And now, the kicker: they reserve the right to have you mail them all of the equipment you are claiming is damaged--at YOUR expense and with ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEE that either you'll get it back or that they'll give you one red cent even after they receive your damaged equipment. And if they do deny your claim after all of this, your only resort is to sue them, and the amount of damages claimed may exceed the limits for small claims court in your state (meaning you'll have to hire a lawyer--have you priced one lately?). First, get yourself a whole-house surge protector, and then, protect all of your electronic equipment (including appliances) with appropriately scaled surge protectors from Monoprice."
