The only thing I didn't completely love is that because of the design of the block and the way the weight rests against the plug part it would not work well in an outlet which has looser plugs. I know this is hard to describe but plugs generally kind of vary as far as how tight they hold the plug and looser plugs sometimes fall out and plugs don't stay in very well."

General review: The HooToo unit appears to be well made, and very adequate to allow you to use an HDMI monitor or projector along with USB devices like thumb drives, wireless mouse transceivers, and external drives. Dislikes: Color doesn't match Apple "Space Gray" exactly (too light), bright LED logo lights up when plugged in, stiff, short cord puts stress on computer port, WiFi problems (though not sure if that is the fault of HooToo or Apple). SOLUTION TO WIFI PROBLEM. Many WiFi access points (like the AirPort Extreme base station) will create two "parallel" networks - one in the 2.4Ghz frequency and one in the 5GHz frequency. THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM OCCURS. For some reason, some USB devices when plugged into this unit, will cause 2.4Ghz interference, that causes the MacBook to "shut down" its Wifi and lose connectivity."
