Last, the product is designed to intelligently switch to the correct device, depending on which remote you activate. It does work, but remember that your TV set-up might make it necessary for you to press the little button in order to select (in my case) Blu-Ray or Fire Stick. The point is, this works, requires no power outlet, and makes plugging-in/un-plugging unnecessary. So if it's a matter of increasing the number of HDMI plugs that can go into the back of your TV--this is the right product. NOTE: I have read that some users have had trouble attaching some devices to this switch, like a monitor."

To skip any # you don't want programmed, press the "Volume Up" button to go to then next number on the chart. 4) Immediately press the "Volume Up" on the steering wheel for 20 seconds until GREEN light comes on. 7) #3 on the Chart says "Seek Up" which I wanted to skip, so to bypass #3 on the list, you press "Volume Up" for 1 second until you see green LED, then let go. 8) #4 on the chart says "Seek Down" Which I also bypassed by pressing the "Volume Up" button for 1 second, seeing green LED, and letting go."

Every time it alerted me to a Ka band radar, what seems like miles later , Wham, there was a cop on the side of the road clocking people. There's one spot where my past 3 radar detectors always, and I do mean always, alerted. The only downside, while driving on the interstate to work, I get an alert telling me there's a redlight camera ahead. I'm driving to work this morning about 3:15 a.m. (so it's dark outside), my 9500ix started alerting me of a Ka radar. "The detector does not give too many false "K" alerts and the KA band (used by Cops) alert has good range as it has gone off with a Cop car a mile or so away in a clear open highway. My car power outlets are on all the time, so I turn the radar detector on when I get into the car from a long park, and turn it off when I park for the night."

With this feature, theoretically, after a few weeks of driving, you should be able to drive around your home area, never touch your detector and all false signals will be locked out. Lastly, I mounted an external speaker above my head and ran a long 3.5mm audio cable through the head liner, down the A-pillar and under the carpet to the radio. Before I even ran all the power wires for the radio. When I gave it to him he couldnt believe I was able to hit him back so clearly because we were about about 20 miles apart (straight shot, not driving distance) I ended up talking with him and a few other guys who were all in the 15-20 mile range all running home base stations with towers and big power and they all complemented how well I sounded. I remembers what my last channel I was on and every other feature that I've custom set...Everythin BUT the clock. It's not a huge deal to me since I have a clock about 1 foot above the radio anyway but just thought it was worth noting."
