The "normal video" that was in progress to end exactly on the "second touch" (so effectively we have 10 seconds of video duplicated), and. · The next "normal video" to start 2 seconds after the end of the “Event Clip” so effectively 2 seconds of camera viewing is permanently "lost". "I opened the box, played with the camera on my kitchen table to get acquainted with the controls, etc. Camera sat on the kitchen table for 2 weeks before I installed it into my truck. Installation was straightforward, apply mount just above rearview, run the long USB from the 12v adapter, tuck in wires, off we go. Since January, the camera has been mounted happily above my rear view mirror in a Dodge pickup. Over the past few weeks, I noticed that as soon as I turn off the truck, USB power is cut (normal), but the camera immediately blinks LOW BATTERY and dies. Most of the time it will just die before it has a chance to go through the normal power off chimes and shutoff process...conclusion...Battery is only good for 6 months. I open the box, unwrap the camera, plug it in, and just watch it blink strange colors. The camera downloaded fine, but unfortunately, the blinking was not remedied by the firmware update. They have always responded within a 24 hour period, so I have to hand it their customer service folks, they are very responsive. These things happen, BUT they stood by their product, offered me a refund, shipped me 3 cameras to keep me satisfied, and they did just that. Had Zero Edge skipped the "Used, Like new" step this wordy review would have been 1 camera shorter. The latest camera, brand new, 1 month old, with the QC stickers now doesn't make it through to the next morning. The fundamental purpose of having a shock detector is to catch an accident, a hit and run, etc. but if the battery can't even survive overnight from a full charge, then question the purpose of a shock sensor."
