"There are many options to buy out there (several here on amazon), however due to my experience with Sunvalleytek (the company who sells Ravpower) I keep on coming back and recommending that if you find a similar product (sometimes almost the same – see ANKER @ $35.99 vs this unit @ 26.99) you can be assured that for the customer service alone provided by these guys you will end up way better off. Now to the review of the actual product: I've been in the market for a good USB charger for the past few years. Between the mix of android, iOS, and other devices (kindle, raspberry pi, etc) that I have, I was puzzled that no one had created a reasonable product that would charge all of them. Now, yes, I know there are several devices that have labelled ports (2.1 Amps, iOS, Android, etc), or dedicated chargers, but it's all such a hassle. For the vast majority of use cases, (i.e. those involving a mix of high and low power draw devices like phones and tablets), this should meet and exceed all requirements. Note though, that at only 40W, it can only provide high speed charging to four iPads simultaneously (or other similar big 2A draw devices)."

"If you have a Samsung S6 Edge Plus or Samsung Note 5, you will have issues with this charging pad and it will shut off (blue blinking light) after xx amount of minutes has passed. Place your phone onto the wireless charging pad and the blue light will start pulsating (again if it is blinking, that's bad) and "Daydream" mode will fire up. I had my Sprigen case on my S6 Edge Plus and the phone detected the wireless charging pad with no problems."

"It never gets very hot (the charger nor the phone), which is an issue I've experienced with other chargers, but is still able to charge my device(s) very quickly. Other chargers I've purchased have usually felt overly light (in a negative way), consistently feeling like they were made of cheap materials; and that almost always turned out to be true given that they ended up only lasting a couple weeks to a month. In the past, it has taken about two hours for my phone to charge that much with an original Apple charger, so I'm very happy with this one.
