"Even if you don't plan on running more than one program at a time, you will eventually find that programs will continue to get bigger and bigger, until your system will slows down to a crawl. I knew it would have limits, but the speed difference was so dramatic, I returned it a few days later... and bought their middle configuration, which costs $200 more, which nearly doubles the CPU speed to 2.6 Ghz... and doubles the hard drive size from 500GB to 1TB (1000 GB)... but more importantly, it doubles the RAM to 8GB."
"I am a web development student and we use a lot of adobe programs for our classes. I use a I-MAC in school, so I was used to the MAC OS. But, I do the same thing with the $ 4000 I-mac at school too. ( It looks a little like a IMAC display) I didn't need to download any monitor display programs, I use with it the rocket fish web cam(plug & play on mac), I also use with it the samsung SE-208 external dvd writer( for listening to my CDS and it's plug and play too) If, you are a student like me or someone who likes doing more than one thing at a time... I like to use photoshop and go on google chrome at the same time... best $6.99 that I ever spent for a app."
"And with the addition of USB 3 in the 2012 mini, that covers a lot of what people need for speed. In a data center, that will be useful for those who process a lot of images and will likely help when screen sharing. 4) If a hard drive is ordered in the Mac mini, you can get to it and replace an SSD but it won't be easy. As was before, replacing the hard drive is not covered under warranty. From our experience, nearly everyone used that second drive for a cloned backup. 7) Because there are fewer parts in the mini now, the Applecare is down now as well to $99."

"But here is why (when your desktop finally dies/or you are just sick of how slow it is) you should buy a Chromebox: 1) Fast enough to do everything you want to on the internet. This may include Virus/Malware Scanning Software, Viruses and Malware, other background processes, etc. From your new Chromebox (or Chromebook) go to drive.google.com/redeem and type in some information an viola, 100GB of online storage. There are a few features that you don't get on regular Chrome like Bluetooth and WIFI but even make that easy to operate. The Chromebox, even though it has USB ports, does not allow you to connect printers because it doesn't install drivers. For those that are not aware of what a Raspberry Pi is, it is a $35 computer capable of running Linux. Needless to say, Chrome can run on Linux and it can also install printer drivers. Here is a tutorial on turning a Raspberry Pi into your Google Cloud Print servant. [...]. Again, this is a hurdle for a lot of people but I will say, after you get Google Cloud Print working, it is awesome. There are plenty of tutorials on how to install Ubuntu on the Chromebox either as a dual-boot or replacement. Just to recap, this is a great desktop replacement if all you need is something to surf the internet with and do homework."
"When it's on I use the “keep awake” Chrome extension. So the box won't go into sleep mode . Using amplified speaker system with subwoofer. Hooked up to a MXL AC404 USB Conference Microphone. I bought this mainly for summer time use so i don't have to fire up my big Desktop rigs ."
"First off, don't buy this expecting it to replace a Windows or Mac desktop. The form factor is what drove me to purchase this device, as I was looking for something small to use for basic web browsing, Netflix, and occasional light office work (using Office 365 - OneDrive). What's Included: Inside the box is the usually quick start guide, user manual, and warranty info. Among the ports already listed, there is also an SD-card reader, similar to what you can find on laptops."

"I have been able to get it working with the RAZER CORE making this a great gaming PC as well without the bulk of a mini-Tower. - Iris Pro 580: I am actually surprise on how well this GPU performed with games at the 4K resolution setting. Good options for storage before you need to plug an external USB 3.0 hard drive to it. You will definitely want to invest in a USB 3.0 hub, especially if you plan to plug a BD/DVD reader to the NUC. I was comparing this to the Gigabyte and ZOTAC offerings and very glad I made this choice since it had the Thunderbolt port. I think I paid more in the end when comparing the NUC+RCORE+GTX1060, being the major differences, I got the latest hardware and the flexibility to upgarde the GPU in the future."
"I got this on Black Friday in 2017 with Amazon and was able to install windows 10 by downloading to a thumbdrive and buying an OEM license key."
"To make it a gaming rig you would need a dedicated video card; To make it a media serve you would need a storage expansion of some sort; And for "just a player" it is way too pricey and powerful."
"The only negative is slight... if you are looking for super high end CAD (professional architecture), this does a good job but might lag a little."
"this mini giant stick behind the tc thats it you have gaming speed mini spider fast and best there."
"Can run most non AAA games at my native resolution of 2560x1440 just fine (e.g.: Pinball fx2) as for others, i bet on the Razer core which can expand the GPU power. The most important reason i prefer it to a plain desktop system, drivers support! Intel hardware and software drivers support is so much better than your average motherboard and their crap. Good luck fixing part of this thing if and when it breaks (except sending the whole thing back). Final thoughts: SFF is the future, and no doubt intel will have great success in the NUC consumer line."
"So far this has been a great computer for the living room, Its size makes it almost invisible."
"really fast and great product."

"None of my current systems work with it.. A bit of research and I was about to buy another Dell when I checked Amazon to see what they have to offer and I found this system. This system has a good amount of expandability and it has a 7th gen processor the I5 is very good and as time passes you could put in an I7 as the price drops. The graphic card is a very good card to play all games to what degree I will update once I have some of my games installed. Over all I love the system so far and again I will update the review as a install and use several programs. Should you buy this system I would say yes and do it soon as the supply of 7th gen chips run out the price may go higher or the system may be sold out. so far very good job. VR Update Well the Fall creator update is out and I applied it to my system and ran the Microsoft Mixed Reality Test program. If you are looking for a system to handle VR this system does it hands down with room to grow Also for Christmas I got Titanfall 2 which is installed and ready for me to give it a try."
"I decided to write a review because the ad doesn't have all the information that I would like to have, such as which manufacturer the motherboard and graphics card comes from, as well as the power supply. Specs on the one I received are as follows: CPU: Intel core i5 7400. Motherboard: ASUS Prime B250M-A (MSI B250M bazooka is the one pictured as far as I can tell). GPU: MSI RX 580 4GB ARMOR (pictured in ad as far as I can tell). RAM: 2x4GB sticks of ADATA 2400. PSU: ATNG POWER CO., LTD MODEL: ATM-500FB (not specified in ad and I couldnt find any specs or reviews online). HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200 RPM. Case fans: Apevia branded. Case: Aluminum (I believe) with acrylic front and side panels. Plenty of room to expand if you wanted to add an SSD or more ram, MB also supports intel Optane and has 2 m.2 slots. The case is beautiful in my opinion and the acrylic panels are slightly tinted, which I like very much because the light isn't too bright from the fans, and it looks almost solid black when the pc is turned off. The lack of any information at all online leads me to believe this is probably not a very good power supply, I would atleast like to know what temp it is rated for as well as if it has any protections such as OVP, OCP, UVP, OPP, SCP. My biggest complaint is the missing MB screw, it just really bothers me that it isn't completely mounted. When I wrote this review Cyberpower left a comment which is the reason I contacted them about the missing screw in the first place. 14 days after that I still didn't have a package, but I did receive an email from someone else in their tech support department with a survey about their customer service. I suppose I'll never know, but the 3rd package arrived in less than a week and contained a packet with a few screws and standoffs and a Cyberpower mouse pad as well."
"The Cyberpowerpc Gamer Xtreme pc has a lovely case, and they were very generous with the amount of case fans included. This may sound odd, but the thing that impressed me the most was how amazing they did with cable management. Its not just thrown together recklessly, someone actually took the time to feed the cables through back and made it look fabulous. Since its using a Kaby Lake chip, and they use a decent mobo, it makes it a lot easier to just add a newer processor and gpu without having to worry about replacing the mobo."

"Most of the features are still very similar to the 2015 version, other than some port changes, new video chips, and a slightly brighter screen. If you find a 2015 model that's a great deal, though, this new version isn't enough of an improvement to justify passing up a terrific buy on the older generation. Box comes with everything you need, including wireless and rechargeable keyboard/mouse, and a lightning cable to charge them. The new 21" version now has internal memory slots that are technically upgradable, but doing so involves removing the glass and is something only a very advanced/skilled user should attempt. I ended up buying a kit from OWC and upgrading my 21" iMac to a Crucial SATA SSD, though this is not something you should attempt without a lot of research beforehand as well as a decent amount of technical know-how. I was a Windows user for most of my life and just switched to Macs a few years ago. The Mac OS is much more stable, and the components, even things like the keyboard and mouse were clearly designed and tested to be more user friendly and better ergonomically. Progressive upgrades (processor, bigger HDD or an SSD, more memory at purchase, etc) are extremely expensive and add a disproportionate amount of cost to the iMac. I would STRONGLY recommend avoiding Apple-installed memory upgrades and buy a version with 8GB RAM. You can easily find the correct memory here on Amazon at a fraction of the cost Apple charges you."
"All in all, I. think Apple is much better than Hewlett Packard, which I had for years, and also the other similar computers I had."
"Still working on some of the quirks, like moving up and down on a page, can be a struggle with the hidden slide bar."
"Having tested 1000's of review PCs, Macs, and laptops I can tell you that this is the best iMac ever made. Build quality of the unit is flawless and now the I/O has 2 USB C w/ Thunder Bolt 3. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a computer that is as powerful as any PC out there and can easily play AAA games in Windows 10 via bootcamp install."
"It's Apple."
"I am still learning about this computer."
"Impressed with quality of the sceeen, Magic mouse and wireless keyboard."
"Beautiful, but insanely slow."
