The song open with a cacophony of instruments all improvising with a rolling drum adding backbeat. Moving on, I played The Toadies "Possum Kingdom" to see if the grungy rhythm guitar could be reproduced. When I regained my senses, I played Sublime "Garden Grove" to see if the impact from the steel drum would show up. Lots of chances to muddy up on this one - bass and lead play together with a heavy drum set. Literally, they take legal action against any company that attempts to infringe on their noise cancelling algorithm. If you want to cut the cord and have the best noise cancelling money can buy, get these today. ************. "The folding mechanism allows the QC35 to fit in the included carrying case (which is equally high quality in its build). Throughout the past two weeks of my testing, I have accidentally dropped the QC35 one or two times from around 4 feet, and they have suffered no damage whatsoever. They've been thrown into a backpack without its case, accidentally tossed on the ground during gym workouts, and I have worn them through the wear and tear of everyday life almost every day, yet with the exception of a few tiny nicks in the paint, they still look practically brand new. I have no problem wearing them for several hours in a row, so long listening sessions and airplane flights are easy. Due to the previously mentioned material choices and perfect clamping force, wearing these feels like having pillows hug your head. Bonus: they can also sort of function as earmuffs during colder winter seasons – they're saved my ears from freezing numb, multiple times. Previously, sudden noises (such as a shutting car door) would cause the QC20 earbuds to “pop”, when it fails to cancel the sound. Features: First off, I would like to make it clear that Bose’s claims that the QC35 has 20 hours of battery life and 33 feet of Bluetooth range are utterly false - BUT in a good way! Additionally, I was extremely pleased to find that the QC35's volume and play/pause controls work on Android, iOS, and Mac OS X!! Comparison to the competition: When the Sony MDR-1000x was released, they were touted around the internet as the Bose QC35 killers, but having tested a pair, I can confidently say the QuietComfort 35 is better at making the world go "Quiet", and better at being "Comfortable". The MDR-1000x has a very audible electronic hiss with active noise cancellation enabled, and is not as good at reducing the sound of voices, compared to the QC35."

I'm not as good as true audiophiles at distinguishing imperfections and details in exact frequency ranges..my ear just can't do that at this point. But I think my opinion strikes a very good balance between a normal consumer that knows almost nothing about headphones and someone wanting details on the particular sound signature. The build quality on these are outstanding...best I've seen for wireless headphones close to this price. They swivel, unlike any headphones I've owned, and this really helps to get them tight fitting. BUTTONS: On the left ear cup, a 1/8 inch input allows you to connect an included cable to use these like regular wired headphones. I've personally never used this feature on any of my headphones because that pretty much defeats the purpose of buying wireless. A dedicated wired headphone is always going to sound better than bluetooth wireless because of compression, all things being equal. Below the power button is a wheel clicker that functions as track skips and play/stop. I really like the fact that all of the buttons are different and easy to distinguish when you have them on your head and can't see. You would think a 57mm driver would give the manufacturer some ability to do some great things on the low end. I do not notice any sound leakage since these are closed headphones and the fit can get nice and tight. I don't use headphones as my full time bluetooth device for talking, so I can't give an extensive review on that feature. Walls are going to make everyone's results vary, but these would be excellent to place your phone in a central location in the gym and not have to carry it. CONCLUSION AND FINAL THOUGHTS: One feature that may be useful to some is the "headphones as bluetooth receiver" option. If you are truly worried about audio quality as your number one feature in a bluetooth wireless headphone, then you'll probably have to spend a little bit more money. The build quality, range, battery, and the many dedicated buttons took my review from 3 stars to 4. My hope is that Bluedio spends a little more time on the audio aspect for the next model."

But if you are looking for precision sound, then you may want to shop elsewhere, these are not the ones for you. As far as the build quality; I don't see any problems with the design. Battery life is phenomenal, comfort is at it's best, sound quality is amazing (Bluetooth and corded - powered and not powered), build quality is fantastic - especially for the price that they are selling for."

I have the old Samsung Galaxy S2 earphones and the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge earphones to compare comfort/ergo fit to. Yet despite my loyalty to Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the fit of their earphones are always terrible, even the latest S6 Edge earphone accessory. Here is why the fit and comfort of the humble Panasonic make my ears happier than most earpieces: - See Samsung Galaxy S2 earphones. Nice soft silicone gel earpad but poor earbud shape that doesn't 'lock' into place with the natural shape of the outer ear. Better quality silicone gel earpad that attempts to cushion the supposed natural shape of the ear canal entrance, but utterly fails for anyone with normal sized ears. Even with the smallest size gel earpads, the earphones frequently pop out and is very annoying. I got my S6 Edge summer of 2015 and I have already used all spare gel earpads + another set of replacement earpads (if you look closely at the photo, I had to resort to a Left earpad for my Right earbud because I had no more replacement earpads to use)."

"These are my first pair of in-ear earbuds and as many have already said, they are to be worn sealed into the ear canal to get the proper fidelity. I understand that everyone's ears are shaped a little differently but what I found that worked for me was to insert the bud into the opening of my ear canal and rotate it while applying inward pressure (kind of like turning a screw) until the cable/shaft points upwards (see my pic). That being said, once fitted correctly - sealed in the ear canal - these buds provide an adequate (quite a bit actually) amount of bass and sound isolation compared to the regular headphones that simply rest in front of the ear opening. Summary: These Panasonic in-ear earbuds are a great value and have exceptional sound... once you learn how to properly use them."
