The instructions suggested aluminum pipe, which my husband thought was WAY too heavy so we went with indoor/outdoor PVC. Our handyman friend suggested first taking 2'X2' pieces of 3/4" plywood and screwing these into the studs. Then we could attach the wall brackets onto the plywood with long wood screws where we needed them for the 107" rolls. My studio is in my home, and my husband thought he'd need a little room at the top to lift the roll onto the bracket. And after my husband's remark, I'm adding some pictures so others can see how he and our friend installed it."

I was still kind of skeptical about using the Ziploc bags as liners, since these sand bags are kind of rubberized and would probably contain the sand just fine. Even though they had been completely soaked, the bags were perfectly dry without even any stanky odor and the sand was all intact inside."
