"I did a lot of research before choosing this speaker. He ordered the 3 PLUS and says it is a better speaker than his Jawbone Bluetooth Speaker for less than half the cost. I use the smaller speaker, which sets on a high shelf in my shower, as it is water resistant & splash proof. I would go for the Angle 3 PLUS as the price difference is only about $7 unless a smaller speaker is your goal. I have referred several people to this powerful little speaker and all are very happy with their purchase."
"Best speaker I've ever purchased."
"I bought three Bluetooth speakers hoping ONE would be usable. I bought the Cambridge SoundWorks Oontz Angle 3, the Anker Classic Portable, and the Boombotix REX. If you want to nitpick, the Boombotix is the smallest, the Anker is next, and the Cambridge is the largest. The Boombotix is sturdy and easy to use, the buttons are a little close together, but they work well. The Cambridge Angle 3 is sturdy and I love the shape. The rubber end caps are a mixed blessing. I recommend standing it up if you put a lot of volume through it because once the bass starts to thump it will bounce and wiggle it's way all over the place. But standing up the passive radiator on the bottom doesn't propel it all over. None of them are on par with the large Sound Dock or Klipsch type speakers, but they could hardly be expected to compete with those at this size and price. The Cambridge is my favorite because it has more bass than the other two. There's an audio out jack, which you can use to run a second speaker (of any make). I chose the Angle 3, it fits my needs best with the best imitation of bass, but the others are good enough that I've decided to keep them and use them too."

Amazon Tap - Alexa-Enabled Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Just tap and ask for music from Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn.
Reviews
"It worked well for playlists and occasional questions, but I got so used to just saying "Alexa...." that it was odd having to reach for it. I set it up so not only can it work from my home network (when in range) but also from my phone's hotspot. He works away from home often and it makes me feel more safe to have that option where I can just yell at Alexa if something happens where I should fall down the stairs, hear an intruder, etc. I kind of like listening to baseball, football and hockey on the radio when I am working or painting or whatever, and miss that with this. This is sort of like Echo Junior now that they have added the hands free option. I suppose I could carry the tap and use the mobile hotspot on my phone, but I don't really like to use that much data unless I have to (like for music at a picnic or something.). The dot is the least expensive, but you likely won't like the sound for music (unless you attach it to another device.). Stand alone bigger item, always tethered to electricity, very nice speaker even for a party, most expensive = Echo. 2. Portable size (kinda like a 16 oz can of beer), rechargeable, okay sound for a quieter room, medium-priced of the 3 = Tap. 3. Smallest (like a hockey puck), tethered to electricity, acceptable sound (like a clock radio type but attachable), cheapest = Dot."
"Having had an Echo for a while I was used to this, and pretty well expected that I was just getting more of the same in a smaller less expensive package. The weight is necessary as batteries are heavy, and speakers are heavy. You need to download the Alexa app to your mobile device and then connect to the Echo device and configure it in the Alexa app so that it can connect to your Wifi network. http://amzn.to/2eIn3ku. The battery powered nature of the Tap makes it different than the other Echo products. Still the Tap is the only Echo that works as a portable bluetooth speaker, and does so very well. It's audio quality is above par for devices in this price range and on par with devices costing 2-3x as much."

Reviews
"I came to Amazon to buy a JBL Flip 3 based a widely positive reviews and a desire to have a speaker that I could use outdoors without worrying too much about sudden showers, dust and other hazards of the elements. Given the price, my general satisfaction with Anker, and Amazon's solid return policy, I decided to give both speakers a try. I'm also biased against today's tendency for consumer speakers to emphasize bass response over every other frequency range. My wife and I listened to each of them across a wide range of music from classical to folk to hip-hop to pop to hard rock, trying to get a sense of which we liked better. People used to the punchy sound emphasized by consumer speaker and headphone manufacturers, however, may find that the music lacks a bit of life. Size and Build: The SoundCore Sport XL is about 7 x 3 x 1.75 inches and wrapped in what feels like very sturdy, slightly rubbery plastic. The biggest issue with the design is that I found myself constantly grabbing into the bass port on the back, which includes a metal cover over a stretchy membrane for a passive woofer."
"Yes it has good bass for it's side but it tends to drown out the higher frequencies and has quite a bit of dynamic compression at high volumes. And now for the JBL flip 3: it's as loud as the UE boom, does not have the battery life issues of the Denon and does not have bloated bass like the charge 2+."
"There is a one year warranty on it, but I'm having no luck with JBL on it. It sounded great while it lasted but not worth the price based on it quitting within the year and the warranty is a joke."
"They wrote to me again explaining that they understood that all I wanted was a working speaker and if I could please send the receipt again they would try to work something out. When I dug the receipt out and sent it in, they responded with, "your speaker is over a year old and we can only offer you a coupon for a new one. This speaker is great if you like speakers that don't work, will take up a bunch of your time mailing them back, and ultimately will offend you by offering to send you a coupon for a new one so you can start the process all over again."

"Our primary use is for streaming music or internet radio services such as Pandora and Spotify, and listening by the pool and while having dinner. Upon the very first look, when opening up the box, you get a sense that Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3 is a very no-frills, inexpensive speaker. The packaging, the speaker, the extremely short, tiny USB charging cable. Conversely, the Anker SoundCore gave the impression that you were opening up a well-constructed, tiny speaker. It was packaged nicely, easy instructions, it felt a lot more substantial than the Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3. Great packaging, a super long and thick USB charging cable that came in an eye-catching orange colored jacket. The sound coming out of the Anker SoundCore is very balanced and fairly loud for such a small speaker. I would lean more towards the 4 Star mark on the Anker SoundCore simply for delivering a very nice, balanced sound quality, and is capable of filling a small room. The Flip 3 Splashproof produced a rich, full sound that was extremely clear and thumped just the right amount of bass. Update: Even though the JBL Flip 3 Splashproof sounds very good, the Bluetooth range is awful."
"I didn't think much of it at first but I wanted to compare sound to my other MUCH used Anker Bluetooth speaker. My square Anker speaker sounded just as clear at full volume, albeit not quite as loud. The SoundCore is an attractive speaker and it sounds very nice compared to its price point. UPDATE: 12/6. Anker has reached out to me to let me know that the speaker stops playing at loud volumes to protect from hearing / device damage. I exclaimed my dissatisfaction with this as the SoundCore speakers higher volume was one of my biggest reasons for liking this speaker. Final update 12/28/2015. I received my new SoundCore speaker and I am happy to announce that this new speaker does not have the audio issues my first speaker did. The speaker is able to go to full volume while continuing consistent playback with great sound for a speaker at this price. If all of this really was just a "bug" or planned execution to save the speakers and/or prevent hearing damage to just be updated and fixed at a later date, I'm a bit disappointed but I do like the speaker."
"I have to admit I was a litter worried about buying a blue tooth speaker for this cheap of a price because we have a couple decent blue tooth speakers already made by Bose and Sony."
"Originally gave it a one-star review, as it had stopped pairing with any of my devices after 6 months, and had a hard time changing tha pairing between different devices before that."
"Then the bluetooth got choppy, the battery started dying way too quickly and now it has completely stopped working."

"Sound quality is very good for this price. Second is that speakers can't be mounted on the wall."
"My only complaints are the wires can get a bit messy and there are no mounts on the speakers."
"I bought it so that my daughter could watch Star Wars for the first time and wanted to make sure we had a surround setup. I made it work by running the wires under the rug in front of the couch, but if your setup is more than 6-8 feet away from the TV, you'll need an extension."
"Disclaimer: I've only had this system for a few days."
"The bass on the sub can be adjusted on the back, which can be a little tedious if you are changing it frequently but it works fine if you just leave it right in the middle. Pros: amazing sound for $66, easy to set up. Cons: wires could be to short for a theater, volume only adjustable by the front speaker."
"Capable of strong bass notes while the satellites and central speaker do a great job."
"I had no issues connecting it to my TV and the cords are long enough that they stretch across to where I wanted all the speakers to go."
"Logitech is known to make a quality product, so I was quite surprised to find that the speakers intermittently emit a static every few seconds."
