"I purchased 3 of the 4 inch round 3 cavity silicone muffin top molds and make 2 batches at a time. We purchase 5 lb bags to save a little bit of money and being an Amazon Prime customer we get free fast delivery. I have added pictures of the cookies we make (sugar free basically) and the almond buns in the small and large sizes."
"This is the best almond flour I have used."
"I wish this particular brand and super fine texture was available ALL THE TIME!"
"Those two small packages didn't last a week so I reluctantly moved on in search of a brand that came in larger quantities but was more affordable. I tried and wanted to love coconut flour but it is wayyy too dense for my taste and I can't seem to ever get the flour/liquid ratios right so for some time I gave up."
"I use it for cheesecake crusts, muffins, cookies, breading chicken, etc.. Great product and always consistent. I added a couple of pictures of the low carb muffins that I cooked using this flour."
"I purchased this item at my local specialty store and I determined that I would buy this from Amazon again when I compared prices elsewhere."
"I have never used almond flour before so not sure what its supposed to look or taste like."
"I am new to baking with this Almond flour, and it has worked well with my gluten free Keto bread (just as good as another brand)."

Best Barley Flour

Bob's Red Mill Finely Ground Tapioca Flour, 20-ounce (Pack of 4)
Tapioca flour, also known as tapioca starch, is a starchy white flour that has a slight sweet flavor to it. Tapioca flour is an extremely smooth flour, which makes for a great thickener in sauces, pies and soups since it never discolors and contains no discernible taste or smell. Manufactured in a dedicated gluten free facility; R5-ELISA tested gluten free.
Reviews
"I use this flour to make Pão de Queijo, Brazilian cheese bread. For years I've used Yoki both Polvilho Doce - (Sweet) and Azedo (sour) as this was the way I learned whilst living in southern Brazil. When I had a difficult time finding these products (my local Brazilian store downsized their inventory), I found this at a whole foods retailer. Tapioca flour and Pão de Queijo was the only bread we could eat until I started getting better ideas from a fitness board. If one is trying to drop processed flours, wheat or gluten, or become "low carb" this stuff comes in really handy. When purchasing this from Amazon directly and having a subscription, it's very economical and much less expensive than whole food retailers."
"Gotta tell, ya."
"Great stuff."
"I bought this to include in a gluten free flour mixture."
"Tapioca flour is one of the ingredients."
"Bought as a change from the RS from the potato starch (from same maker)."
"I make dog treats that are all natural so finding an easy to work with flour has taken some trial and error."
"We made several Brazilian cheese bread with this particular flour and it never fails us."

Best Buckwheat Flours

Bob's Red Mill Organic Buckwheat Flour, 22-ounce (Pack of 4)

Reviews
"Here's the gluten free recipe: Gluten-free Buckwheat pancakes. 4 eggs. 3/4 cup + 2 TBL rice or almond or soy milk. 1 tablespoon walnut or safflower or sunflower or peanut oil. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon baking powder. ½ teaspoon cinnamon. 1 cup rice flour. 1/2 cup buckwheat flour. Mix all the ingredients well and let stand for at least one hour before baking on a medium hot pancake griddle."
"Buckwheat is naturally gluten free. This flour should not contain any gluten by nature, but at the time of this review it is milled and processed at a Bob's Red Mill that is not certified gluten free. Here's my gluten free buckwheat waffle recipe: Mix together the following dry ingredients until well blended: 3/4 Cup Bob's Red Mill Organic Buckwheat Flour, 22-Ounce (Pack of 4) (can reduce to 1/2 cup for lighter buckwheat flavor). 3/4 Cup Pamela's Products Artisan Flour Blend, 4 Pound or Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix, 16 Oz. 1 1/2 tsp. The gluten free flour does better with less liquid, so I suggest keeping it pretty thick."
"While I have not yet found a good way to prepare the Groats, I can also highly Recommend stone ground Buckwheat cereal."
"I store open bags in the 21-cup Rubbermaid container from this set: Rubbermaid Modular Canisters, Food Storage Container, BPA-free, 8-piece Set, Red (1776474)."
"Bob's Red Mill Organic Buckwheat Flour works great in the recipe I use as the grind on the buckwheat is of a fine consistency just like a flour should be."
"I make stacks of blueberry pancakes with it, enough almost to prepare for a zombie apocalypse or at least a few days."
"I made them with coconut oil and seseme butter instead of peanut butter and half honey instead of all the sugar and really wasn't expecting them to taste all that good but be healthy."
"I just checked buckwheat recipes at Bob's Red Mill website, and this is what I found for "Blini": "Our Buckwheat Flour is not produced in our gluten free facility and may contain gluten.""

Best Corn Meals

Reviews
"I am surprised by any of the bad reviews, but they all stem from what seems like not knowing how to make tortillas, so that being said.... I have been using BRM for about 6 years now and that included tortillas and other specialties a few times a month. And I had to add because of some of the bad reviews - this is definitely not corn meal!"
"the corn tortillas I made using the recipe on the bag worked great in soft tacos, rolled tacos and enchiladas."
"With 1/2 of the bag I can make about 25 small 6inch or so tacos and I use skillet w no oil just low heat to cook them ."

Best Millet Flours

Great River Organic Milling Organic Whole Grains Hulled Millet, 25-pounds (Pack of1)
It has been shown that grain and other food crops grown in a healthy soil, resist pests and diseases better than conventionally grown crops and also contain more vital nutrients important to humans. Grain flowing into the stones becomes very thin, flat flakes which integrates all parts of the wheat immediately into the flour, allowing the flour to have more flavor. Our stone-ground flours are milled to order, to retain the nutritional value of the flour. Rapidly cooks as a whole grain - use in cereal, stuffing & side dishes.
Reviews

"in a _large_ stew pot and put most of it in plastic bags in the freezer and get it out to stick in soups/stews and use it like pasta."

"I cook it in a rice cooker and it comes out okay, but I've found I needed to use 1/3 more otherwise it feels a little undercooked and still solid."

"Every Sunday morning, I make a big pot of millet with almond milk, coconut milk, honey and coconut and pour a fruit/chia seed mixture over top."

Add cassava flour, coconut flour, salt, apple cider vinegar, and baking soda. Premium Cassava Flour Batch Tested and Verified Gluten Free.
Reviews
"I have bought both Otto's Cassava flour and this brand. I can't speak for the fiber/starch ratio with Anthony's brand but they do state on the website that "Each batch is then lab analyzed to make sure the Cassava Flour is free of microbiological contaminants" I was very pleased with the cassava flour from Anthony's, both taste and texture."
"This is my favorite cassava flour so far! I have also used a basic cassava flour tortilla recipe, filled it with delicious meat and cheese and fried it in avocado oil. My favorite tortilla recipe is: 3/4 c cassava flour. 1/4 t salt. 2 T oil. 1/3 c warm water."
"I was a little concerned about the price difference between this and ottos but after reading the other reviews I figured I would give it a try."
"I read about almond and coconut flour and hope many people have success using these flours. I tried coconut flour in hopes of getting my cookie "fix." After more research I came across cassava flour and how much it replicates wheat. I was very skeptical since most of the other flours claim to be "just like wheat." When I opened the bag, I thought I was looking at regular wheat flour. The texture of the cookie in my hand was normal, the color was great, they smelled like regular cookies and the baking time was the same. Although I still need to try more recipes, I can almost promise you that you will not be able to distinguish this flour from regular flour in your recipes. The only caveat is that you may need to add extra liquid, eggs or fat to your recipes, as this flour tends to be a bit drier, absorbent and "thirsty." This flour is great for those with nut, dairy, seed, soy, corn, gluten, wheat, and citrus allergies/intolerances."
"But then, when I went to reorder, I found Anthony's Cassava Flour--it's the cheapest cassava flour I've come across, and it works just as well as Moon Rabbit! I know the claim is that you can use cassava flour in place of wheat flour in a 1:1 ratio, but I haven't tried that--I've only used it in recipes specifically written for cassava flour."
"While it is not 100% like the wheat flour, it is very close (about 95%) and we are happy to be able to eat our favorite foods again."

Best Wheat Flours & Meals

Viva Naturals Organic Non-GMO and Gluten-Free Coconut Flour, 4 Pound
Size: 4 Pound. White Flour Alternative - substitute 1 cup of wheat flour for half a cup of coconut flour while doubling the amount of eggs and adjusting liquid to personal preference.
Reviews
"The books Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health and Grain Brain: The Surprising Truth about Wheat, Carbs, and Sugar--Your Brain's Silent Killers will get nearly any person informed and on board. The coconut flavor is also there in the flour, but it's more mild compared to eating a raw coconut, shreds or the oil. Because the coconut flour is very high in fiber (5 grams per serving) it has a sticky consistency and texture - albeit drier than wheat flour. The health benefits of using coconut flour over wheat flour and even gluten-free flours is great. There is 9 grams of fiber per serving (2 TBSP) - compared to whole-grain flour, which has about 1.5 grams per 2 TBSP and white flour at 4 grams per 2 TBSP. Plus, because of the high fiber content, coconut flour doesn't spike your blood sugar nearly as fast as grain flours. Coconut flour also contains about twice as much protein as wheat flour. Grain flours like wheat, quinoa and rice will contain 0 grams. It has all the great health properties discussed here. Ingredients. 2 eggs. 1/4 cup coconut oil - melted. 1/4 cup coconut sugar or 1/4 cup pure maple syrup. 1/2 cup coconut milk (or almond milk). 1 teaspoon vanilla. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/3 cup coconut flour. 1/3 cup chocolate chips (dairy free or regular). Instructions. 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs with melted coconut oil, date sugar, coconut milk, vanilla, and salt. Using a rubber spatula, stir in coconut flour and chocolate chips."
"I've quite enjoyed this flour a lot so far, making several different recipes from pancakes to flatbread for grilled cheese to microwave blueberry muffins to pizza crust. There are some fairly large lumps amongst the flour, but they break up easily so no big deal since the rest is fine and powdery."
"I was asked to check out a couple of new products from Viva Labs. My blood labs are terrific, and it's important to me to eat quality stuff. Their packaging says: NonGMO, Vegan, Gluten Free, Organic. I decided to adapt a recipe I'm familiar with, from Judy Barnes Baker at [...]. It's called Chewy Chunky Cookies, and I used both products in it. Since they were moderate in carbs due to the coconut sugar, I didn't want to go hog wild with them. I AM very familiar with baking with coconut flour, and the first thing that struck me was the color. And for other low carbers (and those whose blood glucose levels can handle it), I would say if you like that lovely caramel flavor and don't want to use a chemical to get it, just do like I did and use the coconut sugar as PART of your sweetener in a recipe. The carbs overall won't go too high if you don't overeat, and the flavor will definitely shine through."
