Find Best Price at Amazon"I've failed miserably in the past in preparing a good Tempura batter that actually sticks to the veggies and shrimp - tried ice water first, etc., but each time only had a small amount actually adhere to the food. Just added the ice cold water they recommended, very briefly stirred until still lumpy, and THE BATTER STUCK PERFECTLY to ALL VARIOUS PIECES! But I've found the perfect combination using 1/3 Sushi Chef Mirin (or any Mirin - or Sake plus a little sugar), 1/3 Soy Sauce (love the Double Black Soy sauce I bought through Amazon), 1/3 Kikkomen Tempura Dipping, and 1/3 water...."
