The Braun motor works very good with a manageable noise level and it spins the head very fast. -- It has flossy bits in the head of brush that do a pretty good job. (Ugh, not looking forward to that...). The point is that, apparently, you are supposed to hold this brush with only three fingers while brushing--that's how little pressure you are supposed to put on your teeth/gums. If your kid is too young to know how much (or how little) pressure to put on her gums while brushing, you are probably going to want to help her."
