Reviews
"I live with just one other person (my boyfriend) and prior to this purchase, there was a need for a good ice pack at least a few times per week. These are the ones physical therapists use for clinic work- meaning, they won’t leak, drip, fall apart, or crap out. In my opinion, the lining is thick enough to use it with just a T-shirt between it and my back (most ice packs state they should be wrapped in a towel to prevent skin damage.)."
"But when my massage therapist and trainer both suggested a cold pack for a back injury, I was in enough pain to try. Some might say that I would be better anyway with that time passage, bbut this injury has been lingering for months."
"This is the best cold pack ever."
"The ice pack that you get at Walmart are too small, too light to cover her knee all over."
"Tip: if you don't keep in resealable bag, it picks up funky smells in the freezer."
"Gets ice cold in freezer and could probably put in fridge. At 930 pm it was extremely cold and by 930 am it was still cold to be directly applied without towel."
"I was doing crossfit with a friend at school, when I made a mistake and rolled my ankle, poop happens, luckily the sprain was not severe but moderate, I ordered this on amazon and it saved my ankle, it is crucial to ice immediately and thoroughly after an injury or your injury if not treated and healed correctly will likely reinjure itself in the future, this is called chronic ankle sprain."
"At first look I thought this was going to be great."

The Original Headache Hat Wearable Ice Pack for Migraine Headaches – Regular Size
The thick band can be adjusted to sit on pain points with the desired pressure, and the individual plastic coated cubes inside the wrap won't get you wet when they melt - reuse it again and again. Individually wrapped ice cubes provide instant cooling sensation for all of the pain points on your head and body.
Reviews
"I've helps dull the pain, but traditional ice packs are a pain to use because you either have to lie down on them or sit holding them to your head. I've tried almost every single wearable ice pack contraption out there - they are all AWFUL! I love the fact that you can move the little ice cubes around within the band - this means that I can place the cubes directly on certain pressure points like my temples or forehead."
"The ice (cubes encased in plastic) stays colder MUCH longer than any other alternative, including gel packs and hot/cold therapy packs. I start out using the fleece insert until the ice warms up a bit, then remove the fleece until that side warms up a bit more, then flip it over to the colder outside. I've already purchased a second Headache Hat plus additional ice cubes, and will likely buy a third just to make sure I always have enough cold & ready to wear."
"The ice cubes are all self-contained in plastic so there's no mess and you can customize how many cubes are in the hat or how close together they are; a sturdy zipper allows easy access to the cubes. The hat also comes with a storage bag that keeps freezer smells from absorbing into the hat's fabric (no idea what kind of magic they used to make the bag but it's amazing) but if you need, you can take ice cubes out to wash the hat. I've noticed any time I've worn the hat long enough to make the cubes warm/hot, because the size of the storage bag requires that the hat be folded over itself a bit to fit, heat in the cubes is trapped and slows the freezing process."
"I have bought everything known to man for headaches and migraines and this is amazing!!"
"I like that it is adjustable and you can place it to cover different areas of your head or neck."
"I love this headache hat, it has helped me so much with my daily migraines."

"Having suffered neck and spinal injuries in an automobile accident it was painful and difficult to even hold my arm up to keep a bag of frozen peas in place."
"I had an injury to my lower back. I purchased two, the FlexiKold (10.5"x14.5") and the Chattanooga ColPac (11"x14")."
"Seems they know that they will break down after the first month."
"The seam broke after about three weeks of use and squirted its contents all over my chair."
"I have purchased several of these cold packs and while they work really well for awhile, two of them have simply split at the seams for no reason."
"Avoid Chattanooga gel packs at all costs."
"Now my pillow cases and couch are covered in a disgusting brownish goop that won't wash out. I planned to ask for a replacement, but after checking the new reviews it seems the company refuses to back up the warranty after the first month."
"This product was not as expected. Amazon, as always, is happy to allow me to return the item."

Reviews
"To describe the fabric further, the top is but like a soft terry microfiber and the bottom is like a typical blue heating pad cover fabric. The cover is integrated INTO the pad. The integrated pad cover doesn't slip off while in use and ruin the shape of the plastic pad as the cover is being held on by a plastic snap pulled tight to end of the pad as the cover slips off the other side. The integrated pad cover doesn't slip off, exposing the super hot plastic which can burn the skin. This may mean washing is more of a hassle, and a risk for losing the pad sooner, but for me the softness and worry-free USE of the integrated pad cover greatly out-weighs the con of losing a pad sooner due to machine washing wear and tear. The latter option is something I have never had in a pad before and I like it as it lets me put the pad on "1" and set it at the end of my bed for keeping my toes warm all night. Though I've paid $25-30 for cruddy pads with the flimsy blue cover held on with a snap from Wal-Mart, so $36 for this awesome pad doesn't seem too shabby a deal. When you put the pad on unlimited timer it seems to waver, and not stay super hot, so people that want endless searing heat may not be happy with this. Bottom line: This is one of the better pads you can get your hands on with it's lovely integrated cover, good size and long cord. Since "cheap" pads aren't a heck of a lot less expensive, if you use your pad on any sort of regular basis I recommend this as a good upgrade. Hope this review is helpful and that you find comfort in your heating pad! Best pad I have ever had - hands down. It still heats evenly and the fuzzy cover is nice looking for an oft-used and washed pad. I do very much like it, and I have had a ton of pads. UPDATE 02/04/2017: When another shopper left a comment on my review I saw that the burgundy pad was up for about $10 off the normal price and since I use this pad so much, and prefer it so much over any other that I have used in the past - I snapped it up for a spare. When someone in the household needed a pad we gave the new one a try and they liked it the same as I love mine, as it is just as functional and comfortable as the first pad, with fast hot heat, 2hr/stay on shut-off options and the big soft washable fabric cover. UPDATE 11/28/2017: It's been awhile since I updated, but since it's finally getting cold - after a long, hot summer and early/mid autumn - and I've begun to use these pads again to warm my feet and core, instead of just for pain."
"Even though the cover isn't removable, the cord disconnects from the pad and the whole thing can be washed. A tip if you're having problems with the controller not working and displaying an "F" on the LCD: If the heating pad becomes disconnected from the power cord, the controller doesn't seem to know what to do when you plug it back in. To fix this, first make sure the pad is plugged into the cord securely."
"Originally bought this for myself, but turns out my sweet little kitten loves it too!"
"This is exactly what I need to help me manage my chronic back pain. So I'm not too sure how long it will last before it either malfunctions or burns my house down. Triggered my safety switches around the house."
"I ordered this a year ago and it worked great until the control mechanism melted."
"I have had this heating pad for 2 months and it has quit working and flashing an F on the control."
"Turned it on today and after 5 minutes it started to melt the control panel."
"That is, until the other day when I went to adjust the temperature and the controller felt hot."

"Especially love the fact that you can wear it around your neck and shoulder area without worrying about the pad falling off."
"This is the third one I've purchased as they only last about a year before completely not heating or failing to heat past a low temperature. I use the heating pad almost daily for both neck/shoulder as well as lower back and, when working properly, it provides very good heat."
"I've had this exact heating pad for years, and after letting my friend borrow it for a neck problem, it came back broken."
"I sleep with this on my neck with a towel wrapped around it to secure it every nite."
"It really helps to relax my shoulders as I tend to tense them during the day, so this really helps!"
"I bought this over a year and a half ago and somehow never got round to using it; then recently, it sort of turned up (I think it was with the christmas boxes...) and then it sat on the floor for a couple of days. Then last Thursday, I had a massage and the massage therapist told me that I had excessively tight muscles and did I have a heating pad!"
"They have a lot of shoulder pain from previous shoulder surgeries."
"I LOVE this product."

"That "lemony" smell that other reviewers mentioned has pretty much gone away, it doesn't bother me at all, and I'm pretty sensitive to odd odors."
"This water bottle hasn't failed me yet and I've found it to be still warm 12 hours later tucked under my bed blankets...not exactly as hot as I first popped it in my blankets but it's still warm to the touch."
