"I've had a few pairs of them and they work very well. When I was in the Army, I was able to get both plastic frames and metal frames that had cable tipped temples. Be careful though...if you slip the hooks over plastic temple covers, they will probably stretch out and won't shrink back and be too loose for your frame without the covers. Heat and a drop of water helps to stretch them out and make them easier to put on your frames."
