"My Skin Type: I have combination skin -- oily (forehead, nose, top of the cheeks), dry (forehead, around the nose/mouth, center of the cheeks). Background: I realized my previous face wash was drying my skin out, so I wanted to find a new one that did the opposite. After doing some research, I stumbled across this face wash. I typically double cleanse when I wear anything on my face (i.e. sunscreen, makeup) and follow up with a toner. Cons: After opening, the bottle can’t be sealed, making it difficult to carry around when traveling - I always had to double bag it in a Ziploc or transferred some into a dropper bottle, hoping that it didn’t leak. It’s mildly drying. I always follow up with moisturizer afterwards, but when I leave a few extra minutes in between the two processes, my skin gets really tight and starts whaling for hydration. Her face was itchy with red splotches primarily around her center cheeks, mouth, and chin area, and it only faded away after an hour or so. Final Verdict: This face wash is still drying. I do appreciate it’s multi-cleansing properties, reassuring me that any makeup that’s missed in Step 1 of my double cleanse will be washed away by using it for Step 2."
