"I have been informed by more recent purchasers that some updates have been made to the current PG6025 version including the introduction of a higher voltage 3.2V Lithium battery and a different circuit board. My trimmer died within a couple months of use and being rather handy I decided to open it up and see if I could repair it before sending it to the landfill. I'm not an electrical engineer, so I may be incorrect, but looking at the circuit board, it all appears very basic and I don't see anything that would regulate the charging or stop the battery from overcharging. So, if you are like me and you keep this plugged in charging all the time, you are likely going to burn out the battery quite quickly, which is why the majority of the long term reviews complain about poor longevity. While this unit is cheap, if you're concerned about longevity, I'd recommend looking at a different trimmer that will have a better reachable battery system."

Each of my hair follicles was bright red after, and my skin was extremely warm to the touch. Sadly that wasn't an option, so I put on some PJs and stayed as still as possible until I went to bed. Assuming that the hair comes back even remotely finer and/or sporadically enough to reduce the pain, the process was worth it. If this cuts down my need to remove my hair down to 2-3 times a month AND gives me an excuse to binge-watch a few episodes of bad TV while doing so, I'll deal with the pain. Warning to people who try to epilate their underarms: Be prepared for blood. The small surface area was the one relief because I managed to get each of them done in only a minute or two. The hole is narrow to avoid catching your skin (which I didn't have any issues with whatsoever, even with the open attachments), but the plastic is so thick that it's hard to get short hairs. SHAVER ATTACHMENT--with and without trimmer head (4/5). This is alright for trimming. It isn't as good as a dedicated trimmer because you can't get as much hair at once, but it does its job pretty well. STAND (?/5). I'm not really going to leave my epilator out all of the time, especially since I will supposedly only need it once or twice a month, so I'm not giving a review of this. I make my own facial products (moisturizers, exfoliators, cleansers, etc. My skin doesn't feel any smoother or cleaner than when I use the products I make myself, and it has a bigger environmental impact thanks to the batteries."

I tried waxing at home but there were always difficult patches which would turn sore and red because I couldn't hold the skin taut. hold the shaver perpendicular to the surface, so that the foil and both side of the trimmer are touching your skin. There is a little bit of a spring action, so that you can, very gently, press it down on your skin, giving a closer shave. If you have really long thick hair (or if you are a guy shaving his legs), use the pop up trimmer to trim first. Battery life: Even though it said that it needs to be charged for 12 hours before the first use and between every use, I used it right out of the box to test it out on a small patch. The manual says that 12 hours of charging gives about 20 minutes of shave, which sounds ridiculous at first. I think it's unnecessary to wet shave when I'm getting very good results shaving it dry, however, I feel it's a good feature to have in case that's your only option, for example, if your sharing a hotel room with friends and don't have the privacy. It's a good idea to press your finger onto the faucet so that it gives out a sharp forceful stream. The placement of the buttons is good so that you can start and stop the shaver or open and close the pop trimmer with the thumb of the hand you're holding it with. The side of the the blade is big enough for quick shaves, and small enough to get around difficult areas. Other than that, if you read the manual, follow the instructions, keep it clean and charge it timely, you're doing everything on your side to maintain the product. Overall, I think it's a good product, very affordable (I bought it for 14.99, the original price is 29.99, which is still great if it lasts for more than a year), it does the job well without nicks and cuts, and it is FAST!"

I love the little bag it comes with because I normally leave my razors sitting on my top draw After they've dried. Using the product: Alot of the reviews said that the blades would snag and pull at their hairs. I also like to groom my rear end and guys, that was a no go.... big ol remote control contraption was not working out for me at that point. Because I like to be hygenic, I'll probably replace blades in 2 months but i am sleek and smooth without the hard labor of a regular razor."
