"It's easy to see why "alcohols" are confusing to the average cosmetic label reader. But, as mentioned above, fancier fatty alcohols, such as cetyl alcohol are not drying; instead, they are actually conditioning to hair and skin." I bought the hair conditioning mask and the oil treatment. I have since used the hair mask 4 times (twice a week since it arrived) and have used the oil treatment every day for 2 weeks. If your hair isn’t as treacherous as mine, you could probably use the hair mask once a week or twice a month or once a month or whatever suits your hair care needs. Things I love about this product: Smells fantastic, easy to use, leaves hair smooth and manageable, perfect packaging means no leaks that waste the product (considering how often this happens with beauty products, it’s worth mentioning). The mask may go a little quicker than the oil, only because so little oil is needed for the hair and you get so much of it, but also because I am using the mask twice a week which is probably not necessary for most people. However, I did notice that the first time I used the mask, my hair seemed to soak it all in so much that I needed to use quite a bit, but after that, the moisture in my hair was so improved that I needed much less conditioner on subsequent applications. I have been doing a deep treatment conditioning of my hair for months now in the same manner and using hair oils for a couple months now (and I’ve always only washed my hair once a week–before you say eww, this is actually REALLY healthy for your hair.). Those products DID give me results, however, I would say that this product did for my hair in 2 weeks what those products took 4 months to do for me, and I think by this point I was capped out on what those products could do for me."

I was hoping for something that was actually "repairing" with argan oil being a main ingredient. I wanted something to continually make an actual difference in my hair, rather than offering superficial repair with silicones - which weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. Since they fail to list the ingredients anywhere in the description...let's talk about them so that people better understand the rating I gave: Amodimethicone, Trideceth-12 & Cetrimonium Chloride - These 3 work as a triad, which is why they are all listed together. It will create a thin coat, particularly where there is a lot of damage, smooth down the cuticle and provide superficial "repair" to your hair. Hence my assessment that this was a "thick conditioner in a fancy red tub" - because...well, it is. This makes the conditioner thick, but it also provides conditioning properties to hair. Citric acid in conditioner helps the hair appear shiny and smooth. So, basically what we have here is a lot of silicones, a thickening agent, a wee bit o' argan oil and preservatives."

Find Best Price at Amazon"It is a good product but obviously it isnt real argan oil and regular shampoos and conditioners have other chemicals etc. Second, real argan oil needs to be perserved in a dark thick glass. It should absorb pretty lightning quick after a few seconds/rubs, and it should have a slight nutty scent. Meaning if it is unscented, either its been stripped of its scent through chemical processes or its not one hundred percent authentic. I rubbed a bit into my palms and on my left arm and it absorbed very, very quick. I cant speak for everyone else, but my bottle came closed shut, sealed and exceptionally packaged. So I was more than willing to give 5 stars for the time put into packaging the dropper and the bottle. The dropper, seperately wrapped, had a label with the expiration date of the oil and the batch number. Usually from my experience, sellers are not that intelligent to go the whole 9 yards with packaging, labeling, bottling, etc if its a fake. I believe this product is authenthic, however, I was a little iffy about the price, because real argan oil is very expensive. Now, I will be posting pictures up later when I have used it for a while but I can say with confidence that I applied 2 droppers full in my very long, thick hair. This and apple cider vinegar are the only two things I believe will make your hair glow with a shine that isnt greasy. And applying this oil and brushing some strokes later, my hair was straighter, not as poofy and felt very silky."
