"I don't know what has happened at Braun and the production of these replacement foils, but I've had a horrible time with the last 4 purchased. The last one I purchased here on Amazon - after 3 months the foil cutter part separated from the razor as you can see in the attacked picture. The previous ones you used to get were in the strong plastic packaging that protected and secured the foil cutter so it couldn't get smashed or easily stolen. The lack of recognizing the failure of their foil cutters is the quality control problem they need to rectify quickly and before they continue to loose customers!"

My wife uses it to shave her legs so that's even more money on razors that we are saving. No more razor cuts on my face or razor burn, cut my face many of times over the years. It shaves closer for me when I use a thin sheet of shaving cream, then rinse my face off and touch up. I finished shaving in about one minute less than using a razor. Easy to rinse off and the replacement blades are cheap. Read that you can probably go one year without changing it. What I don't like: The power button is right where I put my thumb when holding it. Yea its not as close as a razor but the savings far out weight this issue. bottle Wahl Professional Animal Blade Oil #3310-230 for more than two years and it is still more than half full."
