I took the marine collagen for at least 3-4 months and made it a couple months with the other one. *EDIT 9/11/16* The last couple of months I thought I would drop down to just a single scoop serving per day and I feel that I can absolutely notice a difference in my results. Your mileage may vary, but for me I need to take this twice a day to get the results I want and to maintain them. I switched over to their marine collagen formula because I had heard from a friend the type of collagen derived from fish scales is easier to absorb in the body. I couldn't really tell if the absorption was better but after several months on the marine collagen I can say that I did not feel I saw the same results as I did with this product. Meaning I am stressed out about things but they're not in the forefront of my mind to be able to pinpoint what I'm worried about. The hemmorhoids are also a hereditary thing so I knew that at some point I'd get them plus having a traumatic stage 4 tear while birthing my son just did that much more damage. I got to the point that I was drinking two bottles of the mega magnesium citrate a week to be able to go to the bathroom. In one of my sessions of hell (in the bathroom) I became desperate and started googling my symptoms and was relieved (and shocked) that so many people suffered like I did. I scoffed at the idea initially because I'd tried it before for anxiety and had no luck with it AND it make my constipation worse. After purchasing it, I continued to read reviews and watching videos of testimonials and said "screw it" and made myself a cup. It reminded me of alka seltzer (which I HATE) and was scared to drink it (I have a legit fear of vomiting). I took a slightly higher amount than I had been taking (about a teaspoon) because I was trying to reduce anxiety symptoms. Prior to starting this supplement my medication regimen in the morning consisted of the following: 4 Aleve (I've had three shoulder surgeries and have lots of stiffness and pain). 1 0.5mg Xanax. 1 20mg Omeprazole. 4 180mg Simethicone caps. 4 stool stool softeners. 2 TRC constipation pills. 2 TRC IBS pills. 1 probiotic. Today I take: 1 Aleve. 1/2 Xanax. 1 Omeprazole. 1 probiotic. That is a 12 pill reduction in a month! If your body is working hard to digest food, it won't properly assist in the absorption of the magnesium (and if you have IBS or other stomach issues you shouldn't be eating within 2 hours of bed anyway). I rated 4/5 stars simply because I haven't noticed a significant reduction in my anxiety symptoms."
