"I had her take naps in it at home instead of her crib (13-14 months old) and for date nights, I would bring it to the babysitter's house. Pic 1 - 15 months old (babysitter's house). Pic 2 - 17 months old (hotel in Germany). Pic 3 - 18 months old (hotel in US). Pic 4 - 21 months old (in our new home!"
"I believe I have an updated model as compared to the description of the product in previous reviews. Unfortunately the entire family sleeping in a large king sized hotel bed is becoming less of an option. There were some key features we were looking for: * First, we wanted a bed that was economically sound :) I'm sure anyone reading this who has more than one child understands that when one kid gets something, the others have to have the same. I've had plenty of air mattresses in my time and convenience and durability have always been questionable. They have noted that the center support strap is too tight and it creates an elevated section in the middle."
"Only thing I recommend is that we bought a crib sized 2 inch foam temperpedic mattress pad to lay on top for more added comfort. I feel that as cool as this bed is it lacks comfort, but I would chalk it up to the same as a pack n play or even the comfort of a crib mattress. You definitely don't have to add the foam but we chose to and them just lay a fitted sheet over the top and call it a day."
"Our daughter wet the bed so we took it out back and hosed it off... Cleaned perfectly. It got our daughter out of our bed and in her own."
"I bought a blue Regalo cot at Walmart 2 years ago."

"We have a memory foam topper on our bed, and it seemed like he loved it. When we recently purchased a crib, we thought the crib mattress would do better than the pack in play, but he would sleep only a short time in the crib before waking up, I purchase this topper in hopes of replicating our bed's comfort."
"My daughter would cry as soon as I laid her down in her crib, so I didn't know if she just did not want to be alone or hated her crib. I realized quickly she liked to roll to her side to sleep in bed with me and that she had difficulty sleeping on her side in her crib because of the very tough mattress. I woke her up and took the pillows out because I know thats unsafe for a baby to sleep on, but it validated for me that she was just not comfortable enough on that stiff mattress."
"He is now sleeping through the night at 11 months old and I believe this topper played a small part in that."
"Update: my tummy sleeping almost 8mo slept fine on this mattress without any concern for suffocation- the mattress topper really does not sink in because she is so light (17lbs) the mild odor is barely noticeable with my face pressed against the mattress on the 1st day of use so I have no doubt any and all smell would be completely gone after the first few days."
"There was a really awful, beyond strong smell that smelled up a whole room. Each day I would go in and snift the mattress to see if the smell was dissipating and it was."
"She’s sleeping much longer stretches of sleep and is having an easier time putting herself back to sleep when she awakens during the night or naps."
"its soft enough there's no way I'd use it with a small baby due to the SIDS concerns but it's perfect and plenty firm enough for my 14 month old."
"I recently just ordered the mini size for her portable playpen and I know it's going to be 3 inches smaller on the size as our playpen is 27x38 and this is 24x38 but I plan to just roll a blanket in the gap as she can't sleep peacefully away from home without it."

Best Bassinets

HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper – Premiere Series Bassinet
Base easily tucks under bed and requires only 32" clearance from wall, making it ideal for small spaces. Includes nightlight, 2 levels of vibration, 3 soothing sounds and 3 lullabies with volume control, all with 30-minute auto shutoff. Use should be discontinued when infant shows signs of pulling up, rolling over, pushing up to kneeling position.
Reviews
"If you put baby's head at one end of the bassinet, the vibration is strongest by their bum and belly, and the light shines on their butt area, right where you would want it for night time diaper changes. I don't use the light much, but the music and vibration have been very helpful so I think they are well worth the extra $30 that this model costs over the stripped down version. This is a huge convenience over traditional bassinets where the rigid side basically forces you to stand up to get your baby in and out unless you are in a super tall bed. With the Arm's Reach the baby is lower than your mattress and the side next to your bed is missing."
"After stalking this item for months, and adding and removing it to and from my registry a couple times, and looking on CL for a used model, I finally bit the bullet and got it here (Amazon Warehouse). One of the biggest reasons I decided to get this bassinet is I finally figured out that many of these baby items on the market labelled "napper/lounger/sleeper" are not actually approved for overnight sleep."
"This halo bassinet is just what I was looking for my first baby."
"This bassinet is really nice quality I wish my baby would have liked it."
"Well made, looks pretty."
"I love this thing!"
"I understand that you want a bassinet to be stable, but a previous model held up fine and did not have the bulky, heavy and inconveniently shaped base of this one."

Best Bedside Cribs

Arm's Reach Ideal Arc Original Co-Sleeper Bedside Bassinet, Natural
Whether you choose to breast feed or bottle feed, the Co-Sleeper Bassinet promotes bonding and enables parents and infant to sleep better. Reach over and draw your baby close for feeding, or just plain loving. Safer alternative to bed sharing it attaches to parental bed.
Reviews
"PROS: -Allows your baby to co-sleep close to you but safely in their own bed. -Tons of room for your baby. -Safely straps to your bed. -Weight capacity for top part is much greater than most co-sleepers and bassinets out there (It is very hard to find one that allows your baby to be in the top part for so long). -Has a removable and washable liner over the pad (I have washed many times and it still looks new). -Turns into a pack and play once your baby is not sleeping in the top part. CONS: -Pad doesn't feel very comfortable although my baby doesn't seem to mind it. -Doesn't work with all types of bed frames. I highly recommend this to all Mom's out there!!!"
"This is a very high quality co-sleeper and it's been great to have our little guy within arms reach in the middle of the night at feeding time."
"It's great and it hasn't given us any problems."
"Love!"
"Perfect for new moms....best thing I've bought yet."
"very pleased with this product."
"Nicely made."
"Very functional attached to the bed and as a bassinet."

Best Co-Sleeping Cribs & Cradles

DockATot Grand Dock (Pristine White) - Perfect for Cuddling, Lounging, Co Sleeping & Crib to Bed Transition - Breathable & Hypoallergenic - Lightweight for Easy Travel - Suitable from 9-36 months
The Grand Dock is the Stage 2 recommended for kids 9-36 months, or 22-40 lbs. REDUCES RISK OF FLAT-HEAD SYNDROME: Positional plagiocephaly (aka Flathead Syndrome) is a result of a baby lying on one side of the head more than the other. In addition, the fibers of the surrounding bumpers on each dock gives great support and can function as a positioning prop, enabling you to alternate the baby's resting position, from back to either side.
Reviews
"First, I've read a lot of reviews and what seems to be happening most frequently is that there is a baby that sleeps really well, then something happens - teething, illness, sleep regression, etc - and the baby stops sleeping for a bit. From what I know, these babies were going to go back to sleeping well anyway, so it's really hard to tell whether the dockatot actually makes any difference. We've had nights where she wakes every 30-45 min, and some miraculous nights where she slept maybe 6 hours. Most often, she sleeps maybe 4 hours, then 2.5, then another 3, then another 2 hours. She was sleeping okay for a while, maybe 3-4 hour stretches, but right before we got the dockatot, she was flopping all over the bed. Sleeping very restlessly and waking us up all night. So, my opinion of this item is that it can help, but it isn't a sleep miracle: 1) I think it keeps us from disturbing each other for cosleeping, which is great if your baby is a good sleeper but you're waking each other up. It's ok when my baby actually sleeps IN it because then she's not all over the bed."
"Great fabric, color and size 😍😍 I still feel it’s very overpriced, but it is the only thing like it on the market and my 7 month old son has epilepsy so we feel that it’s very important for him to sleep close to us."
"We chose to get the grand instead of the deluxe because it looked like she would grow out of it too fast."
"It's for are grandson works great for putting him to bed he likes it."
"i used he deluxe so i was already a fan of the dockatot."
"The dock a tott is breathable, washable, and portable."
"I bought it for my granddaughter who likes to be snuggled!"
"Only way I can get my toddler to sleep!"

Best Cradles

BABYBJORN Cradle - White
Soft, breathable and airy sides and simple design with no bars or loose parts to trap tiny hands or feet.
Reviews
"Amazing."
"The cradle is very nice."
"A few days after receiving it, I used a seam ripper to carefully remove the two big warning labels at the top of the long sides. It sits very low next to most beds (unless you have a platform bed) which makes it a bit strenuous picking up and putting down the baby in the middle of the night when you're already exhausted."
"My only concern would be the fitted sheet that is sold separately that should have been less expensive."
"So far so good."
"High quality, looks great, small footprint, baby safe."
"I called the manufacturer to see learn whether formaldehyde is used on the mattress support and they confirmed that a low level of formaldehyde is used in the base (conforms to CARB Phase 2 regulations)."

"This is probably twice as big as the deluxe."
"Once again dock a tot delivers."
"My son will hug the bumpers or have a leg up on the side and he feels secure, wakes a lot less during the night."
"My son is a snuggler, and had issues sleeping on a flat, open mattress in his crib."
"Once we purchased the dockatot he started sleeping more which meant I could also get some sleep."

"For various reasons we recently bought this in addition to the Guava Family Lotus travel crib (which we have owned for the past 3+ years), so I'm able to compare them. If you're going to be toting your crib around and/or flying with it a lot (as opposed to primarily using it at home and traveling with it just occasionally), that would be a really good reason to pick the Lotus. WINNER: BABYBJORN. TOXICITY: The two cribs are constructed of similar materials: polyester top fabric & mesh, and flame retardant-free polyurethane foam mattress. The Lotus is free of flame retardants, PVC, lead, phthalates, formaldehyde, and heavy metals (e.g. Cadmium, Arsenic, Mercury). Bottom line, they both sound pretty chemical-free (especially as compared to other manufacturers who use flame retardants in the foam), but I personally prefer the Oeko-Tex certification since there is third-party testing involved and they screen for a broader array of harmful substances. I personally marginally prefer the BabyBjorn (at least for the way that we use it -- primarily within our home), due to its higher build quality, easier setup/takedown, thicker mattress, and Oeko-Tex certification. HOWEVER, the trade-off is a larger folded up size, a bit more cramped interior space, no zip-up door, a slightly higher price, and no bassinet option. If you are going to be traveling/flying with your crib a lot, you foresee yourself regularly being able to make use of the zip-up door (e.g. to soothe/nurse your baby to sleep), and/or you don't already have a separate bassinet for the newborn period, then the Lotus might be a better choice for you!"
"From my research, the only pack n play replacements currently on the market that do not contain flame retardants are: BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light, Guava Lotus, and the Nuna Sena. The Nuna Sena has the perk of being more like a traditional pack n play because it has two levels (one for a newborn), and it does not sit on the floor like the travel cribs. The mesh of travel crib gets narrower as it gets to the top of the crib, making the top opening smaller than the Guava (see photo), so this makes the Bjorn not as good of a play space in my opinion, because it feels a little more closed in than the Guava does. To clarify to anyone out there that is wondering, the Bjorn mattress is made of polyurethane, not polyethylene (same is the case for Guava). Your baby will be doing a lot of sleeping in the crib, as the mattress is definitely thicker and more plush than the Guava. I emailed the company, and they told me they are looking into Oeko-Tex certification, but are currently instead Green Guard Gold Certified. I was told "GreenGuard Gold standard that tests the actual product in a sealed chamber for 7 days to make sure there is no un-healthy offgassing occurring." I do appreciate that Guava is a small company out of California, and I have been happy with the customer service I have received from them thus far. My mom is 69 and about 5'1 and hated the Bjorn because she could barely lean in to pick my son up or lay him down. I ended up returning the Bjorn, as I wanted the crib primarily as a safe play space at home that I could put baby when I needed to do something around the house. One last note: The American Baby Pack n Play sheet fits both of these mattresses, and is a lot cheaper than the ones made specifically for each crib."

"We bought the sleep easy solution book, this foam mattress topper, and moved her crib to our room. We also bought the American Baby Company Heavenly Soft Chenille Crib Sheet and it fits over the mattress plus this foam mattress Topper and this combo made all the difference for our daughter. Overall, I highly recommend this mattress topper for any toddler who is ready for a softer, more comfortable bed. I've included pictures of my 18 month old standing on top of the foam mattress topper over her crib mattress to show the amount of "give" and softness of this topper."

"She’s sleeping much longer stretches of sleep and is having an easier time putting herself back to sleep when she awakens during the night or naps."
"Now after two weeks, I can say with some confidence (fingers crossed) that he has not woken up before 530am since getting this mattress, and is much easier to put back down on the rare occasion he does wake up. The pad isn't going to work miracles, but by 9 months we kind of expected our little guy to be a much better sleeper and I think this certainly corrected his course that was getting progressively worse."
