I wrote customer support (the chair has a label that states you should contact customer support before going through the retailer you purchased the chair from) and was told to remove the control panel and swap the wires. SOLUTION: when I removed the speakers more, I found that they have a "quick release" connector so I swapped the wires and it's fixed."

Another great use for these tables: When painting or installing decorative shutters on the house these tables at their highest setting make a great temporary workbench to use outside for all of your needed tools. I have a bad back so using the table reduced the need for me to bend down to pick up tools, etc. I'm a 6 foot, overweight 64 year old but I could easily handle putting the table top on my head. This is a great table for a 'weekend woodworker' who needs to store everything away at the end of the project so his car will fit in the garage again! Surface has a slight texture but writing with a gel pen and paper are no problem. Tricky to open and close but this technique should help: Pull it out of the box, stand it on end and place the hinge side on the floor. To raise the table you need 3 arms, 2 people or this trick: Put your foot on the cross bar that connects 2 legs to each other. Press in on the 2 silver pins that pop out of the side of the legs and at the same time push down with your foot while lifting with your hands. Cut a notch in the center of each end of the stick to these dimensions: 1" deep by 1" wide. With the table at its highest setting, pressure fit diagonally the notches between the 2 cross bars at ground level."

It can easily be folded up and stored when I want to change the room into a bedroom. Best of all, the leg braces are designed in such a way that I can put plastic drawer units under it. "As was noted by others, the provided screws may be too long, and end up poking through the other side of the wood if you're not careful! Here's what I did: - Lube each screw with liquid dish soap, as this will ease turning in the new screw and prevent the wood from cracking. - Start the screw holes with the provided screws, turning them say, 3/4 of the way into the pre-drilled holes. - Where you've determined that the screw may poke through, either purchase replacement screws from a hardware store, or shorten the provided screw(s) with a vise and a hacksaw, or bolt cutter (it helps to have a work shop). If you do the latter, like I did, it's important that you start the hole with the provided pointy screw(s) first, before attempting to thread in the cut/shortened screw(s). Do not over-tighten the screws! I'd give these TV trays five stars, in particular for the price, if the OEM had provided better-fitting screws to assemble the stand."

It should be seen as a positve that they vacuum pack the sucker into an amazingly small box (considering the final size of the product) to cut on their shipping costs (and to make it possible to move the box around). Right away, you can get your hands "in there" and knead the memory foam blocks inside, pulling them apart (through the supple cover of course) and shifting them so that the expansion goes as fast as possible but no matter what ... you have to WAIT. They will continue to expand for some time - not exactly sure but I wouldn't be surprised if there was still some expansion going on at 7 or 8 days. One fact that people need to be aware of though (and some other reviewers have mentioned) is that this thing is BIG and it is unwieldy. It didn't bother me much and obviously I'm not the kind of person to give the bag 1 star and rant about how the company lied to me because it didn't go out of its way to call out the smell specifically."
"I opened it up and I could see/feel pieces of foam that had hard spot on it. Probably most of the early bags had relatively good quality control where the foam pieces were cut into smaller and regular shapes, and the hard pieces that were cut were thrown away. With the popularity of the product, maybe they started running out of foam and so they started keeping all the pieces and didn't bother trimming away the harder parts. For what it's worth, from these two pictures, you can see that the foam pieces are not cut into regular pieces and they are not cut into small pieces. The right 2 bags have foam pieces that do not have hard parts. Anyhow, from this sample, it appears that 1/3 of the foam has hard parts that would be uncomfortable when you're lying on it."
