Here are some comments that I hope others will find helpful: Some points that are not inherently obvious when reading the description or looking at pictures: -The size of the "seat" part of the toilet seat seems significantly smaller than a standard elongated toilet seat. The size of the tank in the back pushes you further forward on the toilet by a good 3 inches compared to a standard elongated seat. It becomes closer to the size of a round toilet seat. Installation comments: -The seat attaches to the toilet by sliding onto a mount that is bolted to the usual toilet seat mount holes. -The electrical cord is located in the middle of the back of the seat, making it equally as usable with a left-sided or right-sided electrical outlet. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering either a heated seat or a bidet."

"UPDATE 11/03/2016: contacted the support e-mail address and after having me sign an at-home repair waiver, they said they will send a replacement. They replaced just the heated seat, not the whole unit, which is fine, but I did have to sign a release form saying that I would be responsible for the in-home repair. It's possible they would have accepted me returning it to them for repair, but I had insisted they send me a part as I didn't want to be without a functioning toilet, so I never explored that option."

What I have noticed through the last 10-15 years is that the metal used in the part of the brush that holds the bristles to the handle rust out so fast. This may also be in part that the holder of the toilet brushes I have been buying do not really have a way of quickly drying out, in turn accelerating the rusting process. EDIT: 5/12/14 I noticed that another reviewer commented that this toilet brush had replacement brush heads available."
