We haven't used it on my wife's jewelry much because of the various recommendations out there about putting gemstones (and synthetic ones) into an ultrasonic cleaner. The glasses are 3 years old and had a couple of small, but obvious paint chips from wear and tear. Apparently there were a lot of very small rough spots in the paint after 3 years and the ultrasonics "cleaned them" off the glasses entirely."
