It's better than looking at the dark, dirt spots, but this is now making me want to pull out the Hoover to clean the whole house again. There are 2 stress points in the hose to take caution with, 1) the point where the house comes in contact with the storage plate so while you are cleaning and moving the hose around it will bend on that plate and over time it will cut into the hose, and 2) when the hose is stored in the holder it kinks right at the spot where the brush head is attached and over time storing in this position will cause the hose to split. I spot clean on weekends before going to bed and the spots are dry by morning when I wake up late. Also follow the instructions and be sure to vacuum the carpet well before spot cleaning otherwise you're going to pack down the dust and fine dirt into the carpet with the spray fluid which makes it harder for the deep dirt to get out."
