"This cutter is not exactly the profile of the story bought window stools, but close enough, provided you don't cut into the leading edge of the store bought stool."
"I was confused because aligning a straight edge against the cutting edges under a certain angle gives the impression that the teeth edges are not parallel and might slant inward, which might be desirable for flooring parquet where you need a really tight fit, but in fact, careful alignment of the straight edge clears that false impression: the teeth are perfectly aligned vertically, although they do have each a slight slant forward and backward (what Freud describes as "Freud's exclusive design features a tongue cutter with opposing shear angles to ensure a flawless finish") and my next experiment is to use them for edge-joionting."
"In addition, when you want to do the copes, all you have to do is raise the bit in your router table or shaper table to put the cope profile at the right height. The picture that is shown for this bit is actually upside down as it would be deployed in a router or shaper table, the profile at the top of the picture is the stile moulding profile, and the profile shown at the bottom of the bit does the copes in the rails."
"If I didn't want the thin edge to be there I had to raise up the bit, and then my detail was too deep for my liking, so this one is better for me. When you have to drill a hinge cup hole into the back of a door, you don't want it to pierce through the front side of this detail after you are all done with the door. Having the option of keeping the bit a little lower creates more of a safety buffer, and is more attractive to my clients when you view the door from the front."
"I took a couple of spacers from the groove bit and placed on the tongue bit. I then lowered the tongue bit, and used the top one for the groove."
"There are NO instructions either with the bits (other than a little chart to show you what thickness spacer to use for various thicknesses of stock), on the Freud website or on the web."

"While the unit generally is pretty well designed, the access hole for the spindle lock is too small for only but the tiniest of thumbs or fingers."
"For small and detailed work, this is a must have!!!"
"Then hardly used top of the line Dremel, the lock started slipping."
"Anyhow as far as the table goes, it's easy enough to operate, has simple, readable instructions in several common languages and may require a bit of reading and/or watching YouTube videos for those, less familiar with these types of miniaturized tools, or power tools in general. I.e: Safety Glasses, finger guards and make adjustments with the tool UNPLUGGED. The only real drawback is, mounting your Dremel tool in this decice takes a few minutes, and of course, that tool can not be used for any other purpose while mounted."
"Creates a beautiful router bench for the dremel and is nice-looking in the garage."
"If you raise the bit, find you overshot the intended height, turn the adjustment screw the other direction to lower the bit, nothing happens. And if you loosen the clamp knob, raise the vertical, tighten the clamp knob a different amount than before, the bit might actually be lower than before."
"My husband got this to use with hiss router, and he says that it is perfect, and he is completely happy with it."
"Perfect for using the Dremel as a router."

Best Trim Router Bits

Reviews
"I Love my Freud bits! I actually have a full set of these flush trim bits ranging from 3/4" to 1" to 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" and a full, massive 2"."
"Sapele is a fairly hard wood with variable grain which was compounded by my unusual sweeping curves. Upon receipt, noticed substantial plastic container used by Freud, out of box sharpness and general appearance of high quality fit and finish. Routing freehand against the bearing I experienced a startling kick back upon entry that could have been dangerous."
"A quality bit at a good price."
"Anyone who has ever used Freud router bits know it's a great bit."
"In short, excellent bit."
"As I am retired, living on Social Security, and have been equipping a modest woodworking shop, I've tended to buy less expensive tools, bits, gouges, etc., that I can afford at the moment."
"The bit was bent."
"Unfortunately I didn't use it the first time until after the date one can't return it so I'm out the bit and a lot of hours of work."
