"But you could also save $3 and buy this other pan that, in my opinion, is a smidgen better than the Chicago Metallic. Compare this to: Bellemain 6 Cup Nonstick Popover Pan. (Available on Amazon). Yes, I felt like a doctor with a jar of butter oiling up the pans, but ANYWAY... That's why popover pans are separated like that to allow air circulation. The extra 0.25" wider mouth allowed the pop over to open ever so slightly more than the Chicago. The Chicago brand had a more straight side (so to speak) whereas the Bellmain curved out slightly more rounded at the top of the cups. I was America Test Kitchen's #1 pick and recommended product. Again, the extra edge the Bellmain had was: smoother opening/curvature of the cup, darker color for better heat absorption, and slightly heavier weight. The slight problem the Bellmain had was more imperfection as detected by my fingers and this may lead to longer term non-stick performance issue but again I cannot predict this without a long-term trial. Both cups when new released the pastry very, very easily without any issue whatsoever. The Bellmain produced a slightly prettier popover than the Chicago. Make sure you hot water soak your eggs, milk, and melt that better before whisking the batter."

Cons: *It is 11 pounds (Not a con for me, but could be heavy for some). Bottom Line: Glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone interested. LONG REVIEW. What comes in the box: *Lodge Logic Preseasoned Pizza Pan 16 x 15 x 2.5 (** Cooking surface is 14 inches **), 11 pounds. Before you can get that true black cast iron slickness, it still needs one or two more rounds in the oven with Crisco or just cook a pound a bacon on it like I did. *Griddle on stove for eggs, bacon, pancakes, burgers, hot dogs and similar items. *Stir Fry (Use it on one burner; the middle gets the hottest and it gets cooler towards the edges, just like a wok!). For example, if I took the pan out of a blazing hot oven and ran cold water on it right away, it may bend or break. The pan heats evenly all the way to the center creating a perfect, uniform crust. (see customer image above). For softer pizza, follow the same directions as above without first baking the dough. Although the pizza does still cook while in the pan, I noticed it basically keeps it warm until the last slice. If you cut your pizza in the pan, please be careful not to scratch seasoning. Because it is cast iron, it won't stain like a pizza stone or get those burnt spots like aluminum does. Normally, I eat about 2/3 of the pie along with a side salad and I am satisfied--I do have a good appetite. (The photos included above do have a US quarter in the picture so you can gauge the size of the pie). Clean up & Seasoning: After cooking, take a dry paper towel while the pan is still warm and wipe it down (if it is really dirty use a little water but I never use soap). Place pan back in the warm oven or on top of the burner just used. Oils that I have used are vegetable, peanut, coconut, Pam, crisco, and lard. Place piece upside down in the center of the middle rack. After 30 minutes, take the piece out and wipe anymore excess oil."

"I love that all of the pans have a good size handle area on both sides - I used to hate picking up my cake pan or muffin tins and having the thumb of my oven mitt smoosh into the food when I was trying to remove it from a hot oven. As the ham finished cooking, the glaze got WAY more sticky, and leaked out of the foil, all over the cookie pan, bubbled up, and literally burnt onto the surface. "I estimate that I use the small mat every other day usually to reheat pastries and bake frozen foods in a toaster oven. The mats are NOT made for a toaster oven though, as the second small mat I tested suffered the same fate as the first: browning, peeling & cracking of the colored parts. Also, make sure to always place the mats on a solid tray when baking and not one with any perforation as the mat will discolor at the exposed spots."
"After many hours of reading reviews of other mats, specifically the WonderKitchen Silicone Baking Mat Set, I decided to go with these because I very often use half sheets (and sometimes two at a time) and I wasn't sure I'd even use the round mat that came with the WonderKitchen set; I usually make my pizza crusts larger than 14" diameter. After lining the bottom of one with the orange mat for baking tater tots at 450 degrees for 35 minutes, the mat had discolored: it looked like it had burnt. I've also used the same mat and the red mat for the exact same food (tater tots) on the exact same temperature for around the same amount of time (sometimes longer others shorter) to test (and because I love tater tots) and the discoloration hasn't occurred on the red mat nor has it increased the amount of discoloration on the orange mat. I'm concerned because, after baking with the orange mat that ended up discoloring the first time, it left behind little mesh marks on my sheets."
