With this machine I don't have to worry about the consistency of the cake pop and the frosting (when it's too moist the cake pop will break through the lollipop stick or it can sometimes break when you coat your chocolate due to the weight- very frustrating!). It is recommended that you do test the machine to make sure it works properly and test your cake balls before you decide to make cake pops for any occasions."

The fork makes it easy to remove the balls from the maker and put them on a cooling rack. My wife used the injector to put melted marscapone into the gingerbread balls. The gingerbread pops took 3.5 minutes, but my wife decreased the water by about an ounce, so the batter was a little heavy. Getting the right amount of batter into each well is crucial to a good pop; too little and they're not as round, too much and you get something that looks like Saturn and there's more clean-up."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I was done making donuts and cooled the machine, I went to pick up the donut maker and. oil dripped out of the machine and onto my counter and floor. Evidently, moisture and oil gets sucked in under the cooking plates and when you stand the machine up in its locked position the oil drips out of the hinged area in the back. I don't know how this will affect the donut maker in long term use and I hope that it does not become a hazard."
"To make a glaze, you just heat up the white frosting in the microwave so it just melts and dip each donut and but them on a wire rack to drip but everyone seems to like the frosting right out of the container spread on them with sprinkles or jimmies or crushed peanuts. These are not deep fried, fluffy, yeast donuts that you fill with jelly or Bavarian cream. Next weekend we are going to try the boxed Jiffy corn bread mix from the store and make cornbread rounds and if they turn out we'll use them on our Thanksgiving table along with the cranberry rounds we have already made from the Jiffy muffin mix."

I couldn't help but compare it to traditional metal muffin tins, so just a clarification that's my reference point. I followed the instructions and lightly greased each cup with a little bit of oil, and the muffins easily pooped out when I pushed from the bottom. I had to increase baking time a bit in order to get a nice brown finish on my muffins, since these pans don't get as hot as metal."
