Hadassah Magazine Print Magazine
Articles on Jewish life in Israel, America and around the world.
Reviews
"This is a magazine I grew up with."
"The articles are interesting and the money goes for a great cause."
"This magazine is beautifully printed and illustrated. The articles have toned down as well...they are now more centrist, and. some articles even have an Arab perspective or two, a sympathetic. and Humanistic view. Once in a while, a. four-to-eight page supplement, "THE AMERICAN SCENE", is added, (at least in the American edition....I can only hope other countries at least have supplements entitled: "The Canadian Scene", "The Canadian Scene", etc., as. well -- but even this is not what I had always expected....quite the. reverse!). If HADASSAH, INTERNATIONAL is indeed an INTERNATIONAL Jewish organization and magazine....shouldn't. at least half of every issue be devoted to what Jewish women, WORLD-WIDE, are doing?"

Reviews
"I love this magazine."
"It is a real armchair traveling experience full of interesting articles, photos, and information about the history & points of interest of various places."
"If you enjoy travel (even if done vicariously from your reading chair), this is a gorgeous magazine to peruse."
"very interesting and useful for forthcoming travel."
"If there is a fault with this publication, it would be that over a period of years, some places may be covered a bit too often-you'll see a lot about The Cotswolds, and you will see The Lake District pretty often, among others."
"A recent edition includes articles on prehistoric Britain (concentrating this month on stone-constructs like Stonehenge, as well as others); gardens in Stowe, among the best in England; an artists' colony in Suffolk which brings together both painters and composers; and a feature article on the Settle-Carlisle Railway. These articles show the range of topics that the magazine regularly covers -- recent issues have included highlights of particular castles and historical sites (Bosworth Field), features on counties, and biographical articles on historical characters (this month's issue includes an article on Owain Glyndwr, the 15th century Welshman who fought for independence). Perhaps the most interesting article for me in the most recent issue of Realm is an article on Underground London (a perusal of other reviews I have done will show a significant number of reviews on books on London); not just on the London Underground, mind you, but rather the series of lakes, rivers, streams, and disused and incomplete tunnels that run under the city, largely unknown to the great masses of people who live above."
"It was ok. Beautiful pictures."
"I really don't hate it, but my subscription doesn't start til January 2013."

New York Review Of Books Print Magazine
Although the impeccably left-leaning editors would be loathe to agree, only major figures or discourses in the European intellectual tradition need apply to their pages for consideration. Lately, the Review has given over more of its pages (from 60 to 80 each issue) to journalistic reports--the latest political currents in China or Russia, the state of affairs in Kurdistan or at Camp X-Ray in Guantanamo Bay.
Reviews
"NYRB is incomparable not simply because of the quality of its writers but also because of its breadth of subjects."
"We wait for the arrival of NYRB with eager anticipation--great writers and reviews on a whole range of fascinating subjects in history culture politics etc--I feel we are given expert insight by excellent writers, scholars and thinkers and lots of ideas and sources for deeper study."
"Outstanding periodical."
"my go to source for intellectual stimulation!"
"An outstanding publication!!"
