Harry Potter: Complete 8-Film Collection
Especially fine is the interplay between Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his schoolmates Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson), as well as his protector, the looming Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane). Writer Steve Kloves and director Chris Columbus keep the spooks in check, making this a true family film, and with its resourceful hero wide-eyed and ready, one can't wait for Harry's return. Demonstrating remarkable versatility after the arthouse success of Y Tu Mamá También , director Alfonso Cuarón proves a perfect choice to guide Harry, Hermione, and Ron into treacherous puberty as the now 13-year-old students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry face a new and daunting challenge: Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) has escaped from Azkaban prison, and for reasons yet unknown (unless, of course, you've read J.K. Rowling's book, considered by many to be the best in the series), he's after Harry in a bid for revenge. This dark and dangerous mystery drives the action while Harry (the fast-growing Daniel Radcliffe) and his third-year Hogwarts classmates discover the flying hippogriff Buckbeak (a marvelous CGI creature), the benevolent but enigmatic Professor Lupin (David Thewlis), horrifying black-robed Dementors, sneaky Peter Pettigrew (Timothy Spall), and the wonderful advantage of having a Time-Turner just when you need one. The familiar Hogwarts staff returns in fine form (including the delightful Michael Gambon, replacing the late Richard Harris as Dumbledore, and Emma Thompson as the goggle-eyed Sybil Trelawney), and even Julie Christie joins this prestigious production for a brief but welcome cameo. Thus, the young wizards' entry into puberty (and discovery of the opposite sex) opens up a rich mining field to balance out the dark content in the fourth movie (and the stories are only going to get darker). Harry (Daniel Radcliffe, more sure of himself) has his first girl crush on fellow student Cho Chang (Katie Leung), and has his first big fight with best bud Ron (Rupert Grint). Meanwhile, Ron's underlying romantic tension with Hermione (Emma Watson) comes to a head over the winter ball, and when she makes one of those girl-into-woman Cinderella entrances, the boys' reactions indicate they've all crossed a threshold. Michael Gambon, in his second round as Professor Dumbledore, still hasn't brought audiences around to his interpretation of the role he took over after Richard Harris died, but it's a small smudge in an otherwise spotless adaptation. Starting off from the dark and tragic ending of the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix begins in a somber and angst-filled tone that carries through the entire 138 minutes (the shortest of any HP movie despite being adapted from the longest book). This welcomes back characters like Mad-Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson), kind Remus Lupin (David Thewlis), fatherly Sirius Black (Gary Oldman), and insidious Severus Snape (Alan Rickman), and introduces a short list of intriguing new faces. In the meantime, a semi-psychotic bureaucrat from the Ministry (brilliantly portrayed by Imelda Staunton) has seized power at Hogwarts, and Harry is forced to form a secret society of his own--lest the other young wizards at his school be left ill-equipped to defend themselves in the looming war between good and evil. In the meantime, Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) seems to have finally removed the shroud of secrecy from Harry about the dark path that lies ahead, and instead provides private lessons to get him prepared. Within his mind he holds a key secret in the battle to defeat the Dark Lord, and Harry is tasked by Dumbledore to uncover a memory about Voldemort's darkest weapon--the Horcrux. Despite the long list of distractions, Harry, Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) still try to focus on being teenagers, and audiences will enjoy the budding awkward romances. Now that all the action takes place outside Hogwarts--no more Potions classes, Gryffindor scarves, or Quidditch matches--Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Emma Watson (Hermione), and Rupert Grint (Ron) shoulder the film almost entirely on their own. trip to Gringotts Bank, then back to Hogwarts, where a spectacular battle pitting the young students and professors (a showcase of the British thesps who have stolen every scene of the series: Maggie Smith's McGonagall, Jim Broadbent's Slughorn, David Thewlis's Lupin) against a dark army of Dementors, ogres, and Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter, with far less crazy eyes to make this round). Only the epilogue (and the lack of chemistry between Harry and love Ginny Weasley, barely present here) stand a little shaky, but no matter: the most lucrative franchise in movie history to date has just reached its conclusion, and it's done so without losing its soul.

Star Wars: Trilogy - Episodes IV-VI
Reviews
"Definitely worth seeing the original unedited versions of classic films."
"This is just an alert since there seems to be some confusion about a trilogy release with the original unaltered versions along with the special editions vs a trilogy set that only contains the special editions and no copies of the original unaltered versions. The reviews for both sets are merged together... that is why you are seeing people claim that it has the original unaltered versions, and people complaining they do not. THIS set that I specifically clicked on to make this comment on is on the 2004 release which DOES NOT CONTAIN THE ORIGINAL UNALTERED VERSIONS. If you want the trilogy set that contains both the SE and the unaltered versions but no bonus features, make sure when purchasing from Amazon, that the picture is a picture of Darth Vader and Luke clashing with light sabers and the box has a lot of blue coloring."
"Not an issue for me, but I was curious about the less expensive price."
"I don't think that the original originals can even be found anymore, but the fact that these CGI effects that were really great 20 years ago (or however long ago it was) are still in it."
"Good DVD set, some good extras and the Blue Ray Looks fantastic."
"This is the complete set of the first Star Wars to come out-in other words movies 4, 5 ans 6."
"So if you're showing your kids the original Star Wars for the first time, they will like this."
"They looked good, sounded good, but I’m no real film critic so even if something was off I wouldn’t know."

"The original 3 movies on both Blue Ray (3 disks) and regular DVD (3 disks)."
"As of December 2005, I've now had more than a year to live with this DVD set, and as a longtime "Star Wars" fan-even if not a rabid one-I find that I'm less forgiving toward the changes George Lucas made to the original trilogy than I was at first. The new material is visibly, and sometimes audibly, spliced in, and the seams show-whether it's cluttered and overlong new CGI effects shots that don't match up with what was filmed in 1977, small but nagging changes in the storyline, or additional dialogue that doesn't enhance our understanding of the story."
"I don't think that the original originals can even be found anymore, but the fact that these CGI effects that were really great 20 years ago (or however long ago it was) are still in it."

Cars 3
From Disney-Pixar, creators of FINDING DORY and Academy Award(R)winner INSIDE OUT (Best Animated Feature Film, 2015), comes an epic adventure packed with heart, hilarity and full-throttle FUN!
Reviews
"> The talented voice cast returns but if you're looking forwarded to a lot of interplay from them, you'll likely be disappointed, especially Mater fans. > This is a vehicle for Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) however he ends up sharing a fair share of the spotlight with Cruz (voiced by Cristela Alonzo), a female car who is introduced as a trainer for the fading Lightning McQueen, and whose story arc is just as important as and tightly entwined with his. The movie has a southeasternly charm (Owen Wilson's laconic drawl helps with that) and a muddy motor truck sportage grit that will likely appeal to many American moviegoers, especially in middle America and NASCAR country, but east and west coasters will also appreciate the story for the sentiment and the satirizing of a culture all about constant progress as especially centered around our trust in (and sometimes suspicion of) technology. When he is (SPOILER) beaten in the end we don't really care about him, because the film didn't take the time to make us care or flesh him out (contrast this to the Pixar short that opens before "Cars 3" which reviews a bullies' bad schoolyard behavior but treats him with sympathy and hope ultimately)."
"Dream Works makes schlocky movies for a gullible audience, and do sequels to EVERY pos they made a couple million off, even when they were garbage, because they know that the dumbest and poorest of the public can be counted on to squander their money anyway."
"I loved Cars but had never seen the other films in the trilogy."
"My two years old boy loveeee Cars!"
"This is the third Cars movie, and while I enjoyed it, I somehow got the idea that the movie was made just to produce a third in the series."
"My family loves the Cars movies, so we bought this after seeing it in the theater."
"The story was moving and deep, and the characters actually served a purpose rather than just being goofy."
"At random times what appeared to be wonky closed captioning came on the bottom of the screen."

Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred
As your own personal trainer, Jillian will guide you through her exclusive 3-2-1 Interval System that combines strength, cardio and abs to blast through calories for a dramatic 30 Day Shred .
Reviews
"I think this was due mostly to the fact that I never worked out before the 30 Day Shred (except for gym classes in school) and poor diet choices; I do shift work so I often ate again after work around midnight and eating chips and instant noodles weren't helping either. Also, I suffered from low self esteem for a long time, so I was also guilty of "emotional eating", eating when I wasn't really that hungry but just to feel better. if it weren't for your excess weight!". I was crushed beyond belief, and afterwards when I got home, I took a long look at myself in the mirror and told myself that I had enough, and I was sick of being fat as well as constantly being told that I am (you see, I also had a lot of co-workers who were rude enough to often "remind" me that I am fat!). So I considered buying a certain popular home gym but when I found out it was beyond my budget and hard to set up, I gave up and thought about joining my local gym. So I went in for a trial period, but I was lost as to what I should be doing or even how, and I was told that I needed to set up time with staff just to be acquainted with those machines! I started Denise's first, but she just seemed to annoy me (no offence to Denise fans) and it was a bit dancey for me....so I tried Jillian's next; since it was called the 30 Day Shred, I decided to start at the beginning of the next month, which was July 1, 2013. I just kept plugging away everyday for that month and I was shocked when co-workers started asking me if I was losing weight within 2 weeks, I guess when I was into level 2, as I did sweat the most during level 2 and it was a big step up from level 1! Level 2 was my fave and now my go to when I am in a pinch, sometimes level 3, but I now hardly break out a sweat during level 1, which tells you a lot!"
"I did the workouts 6 days a week, making sure all days added up to 30 (so I went for over a month, when you count the days off). As a natural consequence, I drank more water. I recommend a few things: drink water; never work out on an empty stomach; you don't have to keep up, just keep moving."
"Im a life long vegetarian, but decided to eat a vegan diet (no dairy), cut out most processed food and eat whole foods as well as get rid of refined sugar. I know i didnt JUST do the dvd everyday, but in combination with everything, i feel it really helped me tone and build muscle."
"I've lost 70 pounds with this dvd."
"Schedule changed and no longer can make it to the gym."
"One reviewer said you can do without the hand weights but you are only cheating yourself if you do."
"If your a person who would rather haul butt in an intense workout for 20 minutes instead of 40 minutes of regular gym exercise id recommend this."
"I think that part of the problem is that I only had 8 pound weights and that is too much to use in conjunction with aerobic style moves/lunges. I am going to go out and buy 3 and 5 pound weights."

"When searching on Amazon for this set, you'll notice that there are 2 sets, both with all 8 movies, both with the same number of reviews. What they don't tell you is that the discs are in 4 separate cases, 2 movies in each case. But to be clear on this, the 3 extra discs are just bonus content from the last 3 movies. All of the other movies have the bonus features on the same disc. Now for the OTHER set being sold: This set, with the cover being of the castle, is smaller and more compact. However, this set contains only 8 discs (1 for each movie), with NO Bonus Content discs. Still, any Harry Potter Collection is worth buying. ***UPDATE April 2017***. There's been a little more confusion because Amazon has added a couple other collections and newer Blu-rays of single movie of Harry Potter. Here are the links for the above mentioned collections that I reviewed: "3 Faces of Harry" collection (currently $65 on Amazon) -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AQNOCZ0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0. "Hogwarts Castle Cover" collection (currently $60 on Amazon) -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005OCFHHK/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk. Amazon has changed their Harry Potter supply lately. ***If you Search "Harry Potter Blu Ray Collection", it WILL NOT show you the "3 Faces" collection so please use the link that i've provided above***. ***I would also like to make an important note of feedback from readers. It's another collection that is European made and most of the time, the discs are not playable on North American Blu-Ray Players."
"This is a product for the hard core Harry Potter fan!!! To clarify, this product is the "Harry Potter Hogwarts Collection DVD+Blu-Ray" Amazon option "Multi-format" version (I think it is selling for around $150 right now...I got it for $90 as a Black Friday, or was is Cyber Monday?, special!). Included in this Box set: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: 1. Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 7: Story on Blu-Ray. 26: Theatrical/Only Version on Blu-Ray 3D. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2: 27. Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 8: Growing Up on Blu-Ray. 30. Conclusion: With this box set, you get the Blu-Ray, DVD, and (until 3/4/16) digital copy of all 8 movies! As a bonus, you get the 3D Blu-Ray version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 1 & 2, if you have a 3D Blu-Ray player, unlike me...but as I stated before I am a hardcore Harry Potter fan and would like to have those version if ever I do buy a 3D Blu-Ray player and appropriate equipment. This box set pretty much includes every single thing you could get on DVD about Harry Potter! ), and just enjoy the movies, I would suggest just getting the 8 disc Blu-Ray or DVD set that only includes the movies and not all the nifty special features and bonus disc!"

Seven Samurai
One of the most thrilling movie epics of all time, SEVEN SAMURAI (Shichinin no samurai) tells the story of a sixteenth-century village whose desperate inhabitants hire the eponymous warriors to protect them from invading bandits. This three-hour ride from Akira Kurosawa (Rashomon, Yojimbo, Ran)—featuring legendary actors Toshiro Mifune (Stray Dog, Yojimbo) and Takashi Shimura (Ikiru, The Hidden Fortress)—seamlessly weaves philosophy and entertainment, delicate human emotions and relentless action, into a rich, evocative, and unforgettable tale of courage and hope.

"A classic, great film and easy to watch with amazon."
"I had the old Criterion edition of Seven Samurai, and while it was great to have the now reconstituted entire 207 minute version of this glorious film, it was a bit disappointing that in many places the transfer was made with badly damaged stock, but I assumed Criterion, as usual, got the best master material available, so it was a minor distraction to having this masterpiece restored to its original length. Many other reviewers have done a fine job of explaining why this film is a must-see for movie-lovers, and why it is not only one of the most important and popular Japanese films, but why it takes a place at the top of any list of world-class masterpieces, beloved everywhere."

The Vietnam War: A Film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick
Visceral and immersive, this epic documentary series tells the story of one of the most consequential, divisive, and controversial events in American history--with lessons for our own fractured times.
Reviews
"I did not think I would make it all the way through, but I did, and continued to the next showing to watch the first half hour which I had missed. Maybe a few repeated photos, which I personally find annoying in documentaries, and a bit of out of place editing, but nothing to detract from the rest of the excellent content. The quality was not HD and it was difficult to read the credits, so I will likely get the DVD set after I finish digesting this first viewing. While I feel this documentary covered much ground regarding Vietnam, my mind is still thinking "yeah, but what about...", other incidents that I cannot forget."
"It always bothered me that even though I spent countless hours sewing these guys up and being a Charge of Quarters of my own emergency room at Nha Trang that I was never truly aware of what the hell what this war was all about in the greater context. Ken Burns & Lynn Novick have crafted a monument dedicated to the more complete understanding of the essence of what it means to be an American."
"BUT, I did receive the physical Bluray set from PBS Home Video in exchange for an honest review and I think I can provide some useful info. I’ve watched four episodes so far and I expect the restwill be of the same quality; hence this review now. Like the other lengthy docs with Burns’ name on it, the real “work” to create this goes to his “producing partner” Lynn Novick. So we not only hear from the “right” and the “left” in the UIS but from both the “North” and the “South” Vietnamese soldiers and politicians. I can’t remember the exact number but I think Novick chose 40 interviewees to be included. It appears on Disc One and – unlike other “making of” featurettes, you can watch this either before starting the series or at the end of any episode. There is graphic language and – on the home video versions they are not “bleeped”. I’m not a fan of Burns’ music documentaries like his “Jazz” series – as I found them one-sided. And it should be shown in every high school so the Millennials and later will “understand” what can (and did happen) to divide a country and be responsible to tens of thousands of human lives."
"He tries to balance the documentary by exploring the US military, the Vietnamese (North and South) and the US home front."
"Absolutely first rate series."
"An important contribution for a people still in need of understanding, especially for us that know and interact with Vietnam veterans."

Beauty And The Beast
The story and characters you know and love come to spectacular life in the live-action adaptation of Disney's animated classic BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, a cinematic event celebrating one of the most beloved tales ever told..
Reviews
"I FELT Kevin Kline's aching sense of loss for his beloved dead wife; Belle's impatience at the constricts of living in a provincial village; Gaston's insufferable self-love, the Beast's anguish at the predicament that he KNOWS is of his own making, the castle's inhabitants grief and regret at not having helped the prince be a better person.. "How Do You Hold a Memory" is so achingly sad (and I'll be some imagineer at Disney had a fabulous time making the clock that Belle's father is working on). As many versions of this fairy tale as I've read and/or seen, nothing else captures the agony of the Beast's finally finding love and realizing that, for his beloved's happiness, he must give her up, knowing full well what that will mean to and for him. A couple of small details: some commenters have pointed out that Belle' favorite book is "Romeo and Juliet," a play written in the 1600s, and the fact that her mother dies some twenty years before of plague (probably the Black Death), which they assert happened in the mid 1300s. Cases still appear today, in the US as well as other parts of the world. There are antibiotics now to stop it, but the symptoms are so little known/recognized and the disease so fast-acting that those who contract it often die before a correct diagnosis is made."
"Emma Watson and Dan Stevens shine as the title couple,Luke Evans plays the villianous Gaston with a proper blend of humor and evil and Josh Gad (the voice of Olaf the snowman in the animated Frozen) turns in an interesting performance as Gaston's right-hand man LeFou,whose devotion is now a little more than expected."
"I loved the 1991 animated musical, and I loved the 2017 live adaptation."
"I am a huge fan of the original animated Beauty & the Beast movie."
"Good move, I was originally skeptical about a live action remake."
"Not only was it done with the magic and beauty of the classic, it made the classic come to life!"
"Great family movie and brings back fond memories of watching the animated version as a kid."
"Beautiful scenery, keeps the spirit of the original film but also adds in it's own original twists."

Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series
Golden Globe winner Kyle McLachlan returns in his original role as Dale Cooper, with several twists, in a layered, cryptic TV event critics praised to the skies.
Reviews
"Anybody coming in thinking they're going to be getting a straight continuation, both in plot and tone, of the original series is due for disappointment. The original series and "Fire Walk With Me" provide the background, but this series is more of an evolution of Twin Peaks, providing something new in the context of today's television in the same way the original series was groundbreaking in its time. As I said above, while characters and stories are present from the original run, this is as jarringly different from the original series as you'd expect given the passage of time and expected growth of both the fictional characters and the people making the show."
"A story of good vs. evil."
"Even the cast listing and musical performances are surprising - Amanda Seyfried is wonderful in a limited role: Michael Cera is hilarious as Andy and Lucy's son, Wally Brando; Nine Inch Nails plays at the Roadhouse! Lynch not only writes and directs, his character of Gordon Cole is given more space to be involved in the proceedings and he does the sound design for the entire run, even doing make-up effects by himself in certain key situations. Over eighteen chilling hours, the story dives deep into the alternate dimensions ruling the main characters, offering hints at the origins of both the good and evil forces at play."
"Episode 8 of this series is the greatest hour of television I have ever seen and causes us to ponder what humanity did when we split the atom for the purpose of killing."

The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall
In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera , Cameron Mackintosh produced a unique, spectacular staging of the musical on a scale which had never been seen before.
Reviews
"This production is pretty dead on to the staging that appears in the shows that I have watched live, and considering this was filmed "live" and simulcast, it is truly a sight to behold. Unlike Joseph, JC Superstar and CATS, which were "staged" recordings specifically for video, with all the "cuts" that go with it, This is a live filming that was simulcast live around the world on Oct 2, 2011 and ran on limited encore performances in movie theatres for the next few days. This is sure to be a bit of a disappointment to most Phantom fans, and if you need to experience a crashing chandalier, you will have to go to one of the live performances currently touring around the world. On the plus side there are quite a few shots of the show taken "throguh" the chandelier onto the stage below, which gives you the feeling that you are the phantom, spying at the action below from top of the chandelier. The use of LED screens is also used to mimic Christines Mirror during her Angel of Music number in which Christine approaches the mirror with the Phantoms face singing in the upper right corner of the mirror. Another different use of the screens is during "Notes" when the phantom is reading how Christine is to star in 'Il Muto, we see handwriting appearing as well as the phantom singing his instructions on how Christine is to be granted the role of the dutchess while Carlotta plays the pageboy. One cool effect that the LED screens provided was during the end of Think of Me, Christine faces the rear of the stage, and the actual applause from the live audience is projected on the rear screens giving the audience the feeling that they are behind Christine and their own reaction is the reaction of the "audience" who just watched her aria from Hannibal. Thanks to HD and the extreme closeup we fully see the emotional range the Phantom shows at his love/hate relationship with Christine. In the live stage productions I have seen, the "Phantom of The Opera/Music of the Night" sequence always sent shivers down my spine. The motion picture's rendition of "Past the Point of No Return" has a sexual tension and animal magnetism not experienced on any stage performance I have seen. The Phantom in this production is also more believable. While it is nowhere close to experiencing Phantom for yourself, it is definitely more authentic than the movie, and slight staging differences aside, is as accurate a staging of the original show as could be done in the venue that it was pressented. The performance was outstanding and much more accurate to the original show than the movie. A must buy for anyone who loves this show, and anyone who has yet to see it performed on stage."
"For the 25th anniversary of Phantom Andrew and Cameron did a fully staged concert version of pretty much the whole show at London's Royal Albert Hall complete with minor set piece and fully costumed with a cast and orchestra of over 200. Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess, who co-starred in the "Phantom" sequel "Love Never Dies" in London, reunited for the special production and with amazing chemistry. Ramin's Music of the Night was like hearing the song for the first time all over again and Sierra's high notes are flawless and clearer then ever Sarah did back in her early days. She brought a fullness and venerability to the role I never ever thought about and her look go absolute terror during the rehearsals for The Phantom's opera still sticks out in my mind as genius."

Duck Dynasty: Season 3
But for Willie Robertson, the company's CEO, running a family operation can be tough when all your employees live one distraction at a time and find any excuse to leave the warehouse.
Reviews
"Season 3 has the same feel and style as Season 1 and 2. It's still totally contrived but the contrived circumstances are entertaining and funny."
"Filled with excellent humor, from uncle Si's highly elaborated stories, to Will's sarcastic wit (usually centered around his "slacker" brother Jase's wild antics), and crowned by Patriarch Phil's sarcastic commentary on life in general, makes for great family entertainment, with each episode reminiciant of the "Seinfeld" formula, with a show thatg might be centered around something as simly as Willie's daughter's lack of driving skills (run for that loading dock Willie!"
"I'm not that kind of guy who likes to watch reality shows (or watch a lot of TV for that matter), and I guess you can't say this is a reality show per se, but what I like is that this one is of those you can classify as a real family show (something you don't find nowadays on TV), you don't have to worry if you kids are alone watching it."
"A diamond in the rough is what I thought about this show when I listened to some of the guys over quail speak of the show. What makes me love this show because there is often a point to it through the comedy and they even sit down at the end of the episode together, make up, and push on."

Game of Thrones: Season 5
Reviews
"A list of things to watch out for when buying: -The exterior blue where it says Blu Ray on the outside was the wrong tone, and did not also say Digital HD, vs the real copy which did. -The slipcase artwork paper shows color banding and indicates it is a reprint, not the original printer quality. -The inner guide booklet is clearly reprinted - the words are muddier and less clear - and on cheaper paper. I am returning that copy after I take comparative photos of the two sets, and my second one came directly from Amazon, 100% fine."
"I am always glad to lend my GOT videos to friends, and then I sit back and wait for their phone calls and love the chance to talk with them about GOT and to hear their reactions to story events."
"This has got be one of the best done shows that is available for rent or purchase on Amazon."
"The discs come in a multiple page foldout that is folded and slid into a box that is then covered by the semi-transparent plastic sleeve."
":/ But overall great purchase and price, I like the package Season 5 came in, it's really pretty...So much has to happen yet, I can't wait for Season 8!!!!"
"Shipped quickly and arrived undamaged."
"The new X Files is pretty good, too, but this show manages to keep a lot of plot lines going that are (with a few notable exceptions) at the very least interesting: stab/fuck/stab/quip/stab/tits/run around/stab/quip."
"I have not quite finished this season yet (so I don't know where in the story it ends.). I read the books first and the episodes follow pretty close to the book. If there are only 5 books did they cut the last book in half so that they could make an extra season?"

"This does not contain a code for a digital copy like most blu-ray movies you buy physically do."
"The original 3 movies on both Blue Ray (3 disks) and regular DVD (3 disks)."
"I don't think that the original originals can even be found anymore, but the fact that these CGI effects that were really great 20 years ago (or however long ago it was) are still in it."
"Good DVD set, some good extras and the Blue Ray Looks fantastic."
"The only bonus features is an audio commentary that is really just pieces of audio from the documentary of the making of the films, which can be found on youtube."

Planet Earth: The Complete BBC Series
With this harsh reality as subtext, the series proceeds to accentuate the positive, delivering a seemingly endless variety of natural wonders, from the spectacular mating displays of New Guinea's various birds of paradise to a rare encounter with Siberia's nearly-extinct Amur Leopards, of which only 30 remain in the wild. of the Philippines; a hunting alliance of fish and snakes on Indonesia's magnificent coral reef; the bioluminescent "vampire squid" of the deep oceans... these are just a few of countless highlights, masterfully filmed from every conceivable angle, with frequent use of super-slow-motion and amazing motion-controlled time-lapse cinematography, and narrated by Attenborough with his trademark combination of observational wit and informative authority.
Reviews
"If you have a collection or are starting a collection of nature documentaries, Add this product to your list... David Attenborough does a great job narrating this BBC production.."
"This was a gift but you can't go wrong with Sir David Attenborough's films."
"Awesome to watch on the new LG 2017 television using a blue ray player."
"The Blu-ray edition of this series is still the standard for high-definition home theaters."
"At some point it gets political, but that's only one segment, the rest is politics free and wonderful for naturalists for like me."
"There are dozens on 'non-formatting' solutions, and most will not work in your case. Save your files, prepare for the good possibility of having to re-format."
"While the Discovery Channel series is narrated by Sigourney Weaver and the Disney edited version is done by James Earl Jones; this original series is narrated by David Attenborough with the BBC and he is by far the best of the three. In my opinion the stunning imagery reinforces the ideas of creation by design and the entire series would be an excellent educational resource for any type of school or home."
"David Attenborough' s narration is a personal favorite of mine to listen to, and this series provided no exception."

Secretariat
Diane Lane and John Malkovich lead a celebrated cast in this inspirational motion picture from the producers of Miracle, Invincible and The Rookie.
Reviews
"Mrs. Penny Chenery Tweedy, owner and manager of Secretariat, made some sagacious decisions that had a substantial impact on those closest to her. To give you an idea of the significance of these events, Secretariat appears on the cover of Time magazine under the caption "Super Horse.""
"Also Big Red's owner Penny Chenery (still around at 91 years young) was in an especially subtle manner connected with his heart that was revealed its size was, at twenty-two pounds compare to an average eight pounds for regular racing stallions, one of the largest ever of a racing horse. The number three appears to be connected to Big Red: Laurin gave a cake to Secretariat on the colt's 3rd birthday in 1973, the year of their Triple Crown; born in 1970 he was THREE years young in 1973 of their TRIPLE Crown."
"This arrived quickly...yay...can't wait to watch it again (for about the 4th or 5th time)."
"She stands firm on her faith that her horse will take home the triple crown and when he approaches the finish line, the exhiliration on her face is well worth the end result to the very end."
"This movie is an excellent choice for those who wish to enjoy an upbeat and positive story."
"This horse was the fastest racing horse ever. You will fine yourself yelling for the horse even in this movie. What a horse and what a wonderful movie this is."
"We all know how it ends, with Secretariat smashing records and becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years (or if you didn't know...spoiler-alert, sorry), but you still feel the tension of what was at stake for Meadow Stables and for thoroughbred racing in general.....But then....As he pulls away in the Belmont......The fear that the Secretariat team was in for a huge disappointment because, as some people thought at the time...."He's going too d___ FAST!!!"

Best Westerns

Tombstone
This Western has become a modest cult favorite since its release in 1993, when the film was met with mixed reviews but the performances of Kurt Russell (as Wyatt Earp) and especially Val Kilmer, for his memorably eccentric performance as the dying gunslinger Doc Holliday, garnered high praise. The plot sounds routine, and in many ways it is, but Western buffs won't mind a bit thanks to a fine cast and some well-handled action on the part of Rambo director George P. Cosmatos, who has yet to make a better film than this.
Reviews
"Unfortunately, Tombstone just won’t let that happen; a local gang (The Cowboys) on the loose, local law enforcement doesn’t make anything their problem, a crooked poker dealer ripping off the casino and bar. What makes this film superior to other westerns is the depth of the story and the realistic performances of the cast: Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Michael Biehn, Sam Elliott, Billy Bob Thornton, Bill Paxton, Billy Zane, even Charlton Heston."
"This movie is dozens of times better than any other movie ever made about Tombstone and the gunfight at the OK Corral, and even if westerns are not your thing, this is a classic that you should see."
"Worth seeing just for Val Kilmer's role as Doc Halliday."
"I know this is supposed to be a serious movie, but I've seen it 30 times."
"I grew up with my father constantly watching cheesy Western after cheesy Western, and I grew to dislike the genre immensely."
"Dana Delany is outstanding in her role as Josephine: I usually cannot tolerate the women who heartlessly cheat with married men but from the very first time they lay eyes on each other YOU feel as if it was meant to be."
"A favorite of my friends and me."
"Each actor creates a wonderful portrait with Russell and Kilmer at the top."

Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection
Reviews
