Pairing with a phone is by the usual procedure and it works perfectly using Bluetooth which gives very fast connection and clear sound (see video). I could not find the actual weather protection rating of the speaker however I think it is fair to say that this speaker would need to be kept away from water. I think everyone understands the concept of bass and in that respect, it has very strong bass as you would expect with such an impressive subwoofer. I experimented with a good quality graphic equaliser on my phone and found that whatever setting I chose, be it pre-set or manually adjusted, the speaker produced clear, clean sound without distortion or vibration. It is completely capable of providing great sound quality without distortion for a whole wide range of music genres and if you want to push bass, high ends etc."

When I found out about Meidong’s latest Bluetooth speaker, I was very excited and inquired when it would be available for purchase in Amazon. Prior to my drive home, I secured the speaker on the dashboard of my vehicle and played some of my favorite tunes. However, as my ears got used to the noise inside the car (one of the windows and the sunroof were open) and I was able to focus on the music, I noticed something different. After about one hour, I finally reached home and began my standard test of Bluetooth speakers. I placed the speaker on a wooden table and played a track with a good amount of bass guitar. The next test involved a live recording of a basso vocalist accompanied by two acoustic guitars, a flute and a bassoon. I was so impressed with the sound reproduction of the MD-2110, I had to show it off to my brother in law who is a huge Elvis Presley fan. I played one of his favorite Elvis songs and his first reaction was, “I never heard some of those instruments before.” This was a testament to how well and accurate Meidong’s MD-2110 reproduced sound. That's because the # symbol for the note is really, really small and not very noticeable--so you think you're tuning to A, but you're really tuning to A#. Of course once you start playing, you'll realize it--as you scowl around the room because you hear someone awfully out of tune, then you realize everyone is scowling at YOU, because YOU tuned to A# instead of A!"

Hard to explain, but imagine you had made this body out of plywood and wanted to hide the obvious laminate where the body contour is (see photo I've attached for an idea of what I mean), you'd paint that area solid black and only make the "burst" where you couldn't see the laminated part, that's what it looks like... really a shame."
