"This is my first set of violin strings that I purchased and I wasn't exactly sure what to look for."
"Broke the D and E strings on my Cecilio 4/4."
"The Amo's work well on a more harsh sounding violin but after settling in they were too mello for my violin. The Preludes are great on my student violin and would probably be ok on my intermediate violin."
"These are the only strings I use on my violin."
"They are also quite durable, as this was my first time stringing my new violin, I found out quickly that they don't break easily!"
"Strings sound great."
"much better than what i had!"
"I was highly upset and am in desperate need of strings so I had to make do."

"I did notice, however, that my most recent set has some visible staining/dark spots in a couple of places along the strings."
"I don't play as much anymore except in my dad's bluegrass band, so I ended up putting a set of much lesser quality strings on my violin."
"I've tried others, like Olivs, which are also lovely, but the dominant plus gold label e is a reliable set with a great sound and feel, not too expensive, versatile, and ubiquitous. Ive used them happily playing everything from mariachi to celtic to romantic period classical and have never felt limited by my strings."
"Super Sensitive are good strings, but Dominants are great strings."
"these strings last a long time and you will be happy you made this choice rather than getting cheaper ones, being unhappy then buying these anyway."
"I can't tell the difference in sound after replacing with these strings on my 11 year old girl's violin."
"I just put this set on my 5 string Damiano Violin today. The strings needed to be changed and there are so many different types of strings out there I didn't know what to buy so I just went by the customer ratings."
"The dominant A string broke at the loop end when I was tuning."

"Great for intermediate students."
"The strings work great on my violin and when I emailed Thomastik Enfield about what rosin I should use, they sent me some free rosin they were sampling."

"Update: I was initially using a light colored rosin that came with my violin and I think was a cheap product and produced a lot of dust."
"I've been playing the violin for...gosh, over thirty years now, and my degree is in music ed. Bows, while admittedly a mixed lot, tend to be a "you get what you pay for" kind of thing, and a decent bow at this price range tends to be scarce as hen's teeth, as they say. I was pleased when I first pulled this bow from the box with its appearance--the black carbon fiber is very sharp-looking, especially with the clean fittings. The only negative I found with this bow was that it arrived with broken hairs--somewhere between 3 and 6 if memory serves. If the bow continues to lose hair, I'll adjust my review accordingly."
"The hair is Siberian Horse hair and since started playing I can hear a difference between my original bow and this one. One thing I noticed on this bow is the space between the frog and black wrap is not that big like my other bow."
"The other complaint is that the carbon fiber does not hold its arc when the hair is slightly tightened."
"I am glad I purchased this bow for my daughter seems like a great deal."

Reviews
"On my instrument, these strings offer just as much power and clarity as the Vision Solos I was using before, but with much more complex colors available, especially at softer dynamics."
"Personally, I made the transition to these strings from Obligatos and feel that the extra $20 are much worth it especially if you're looking to achieve a warmer sound. What I will say though is that the strings take a very long time to break in (more than any other string I have ever bought), the first couple of days you will find yourself endlessly re-tuning."
"I was quickly and courteously contacted by the company, Evergreen Violin, and assured that customer satisfaction was paramount to them."
"our go-to strings, although regular Pirazzi strings are just as nice."
"Powerful sound."
"The first few days, the strings sound awful, and then they are beautiful."
"Love these strings, always easy ordering with Amazon."
"I absolutely love these strings on my viola!"
