"The whole point of cling wrapping stuff is to protect it by getting it to wrap and cling to itself tightly, for this you need 2 people, so one can hold the thing and another can wrap it around as tight as possible. It is very sticky, good news, thats what we want from the stretch film, so that after a full wrap of anything like mattress or pillows etc, the subsequent wrapping of the item gets easier as the wrap clings onto itself. I bought one of this gigantic cling wrap and was able to move stuff from my 2 bd home just with one stretch film. I used it for 2 mattresses, so I cling wrapped them, Used packing tape to secure the cling wrap and then put a mattress cover and stuck that too using packing tape, just to keep it secure. We also wrapped the pillows 2 at a time using this stretch film."
